Ah... travelling to the Pitt and back again fixed it. it's just possible that I used a sneaky "coc playermegatonhouse" that I shouldn't have when I finished Pittsburgh... Also saw reference to an "FRSU" "Force Radio station update" command when playing about with help that might have been worth a try

Hi, blast from the past... I'm playing Fallout 3 on Windows 10, and all radio stations have stopped working in saved games after doing Into the Pitt. They work fine in saves before that. Has anyone got any ideas please?

Thanks! Installed EWI; I don't know what ENB is, but assumed I didn't have it and filled out the files accordingly. Game crashed, and I noticed that when I tried to summon an Atronach and it didn't appear because I wasn't pointed at a valid bit of ground, I still lost magicka and the icon appeared. Installed SKSE alpha 1-07-00 and still crashed I'm afraid. Pondering starting from an earlier save and replaying a couple of days, but worried the same bug may happen

Hi, I am looking for some help with some highly annoying Skyrim Crashes to Desktop (CTD) These have largely been happening after starting the Dawnguard quest during combat, and are virtually making it unplayable. I would rather not lose all the character development and progress I have made to date, nor use the standard interface if I don't have to! The crashes only happen when running SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender); they do not happen without it. They only seemed to start happening when I began adventuring with Serana as part of the Dawnguard quest. Other things eliminated from enquiries are the mere presence of mods (they still happened from recent save after disabling and removing all mods) and recent graphics card updates (I rolled them back several months). I also ran just ran a full clean re-installation of Skyrim, and then all mods. However, every time I tell Steam to re-validate the game cache after running, it tells me that 1 file has failed to validate and will be re-acquired. I have an annoying crackling sound that affects me in 1st-person view every time I load a game, but I can get rid of that by doing player.sexchange twice, and can live with it. All this makes me think that it is something about a script. I have downloaded the Save Game Cleaner http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/? and run it on my savegame, then used it to remove the fxDustDropRandomSCRIPT which looked to be causing problems. I also did a “ClearInvalidRegistrations” after the save cleaner, which said it did not find anything. After reinstallation of everything I let Convenient Horses do its thing, saved again, then ran the Cleaner again, which said it found a shedload of things on both “Fix All” and “Fix Script Instances.” Onto the technical stuff: SKSE 1.6.16 from the readme file Skyrim 1.9.32 (if the skse .dll file is anything to go by; Steam is set to update on high priority) in standard steamapps/common directory Nexus Mod Manager 0.49.3 Here is my list of plugins : These are after running through BOSS. I have had problems with BOSS stalling or failing to detect game, which I gather may be due to steam removing the game's registry value... BOSS Log: Here are the start of my system specs from DxDiag. I run Bullguard Tune-up, CCleaner and do Maintenence frequently. NB CCleaner often shows up an “Obselete Software key : HKLM\Software\bethesda softworks” Extra NB My machine seems set up to use only two of its four processors, which I must get fixed sometime, but it hasn't interfered with Skyrim in the past; for a long time, it ran like a dream. Here is my Papyrus Log before a crash (from loading second file) Other weirdnesses I have noticed, which may be down to my imperfect understanding: Before reinstallation, tcl would turn noclipping on, but not off Serana is 03002b74 when clicked on, but 03002b6c from “help Serana” The # from “help” doesn't work. 03002b74.moveto player didn't work, but “prid # followed by “moveto player” worked.
