Hello, First of all, I need to tell that I'm complete newbie to modding, so I'm in need for instructions and tips understandable by a moron. :) I'm trying to create a texture replacer mod for ash piles that would change them into a pile of gore. (nasty I know, but I'd like to try retexturing something simple). I figured how to change diffuse texture and how to create a normal map (sort of), but I need to know what to edit in the nif file (using niFscope) so that the glow effect is removed for good. It would be nice if someone would also tell me how to remove the "steaming" effect. I know there's a mod that removes steam effect but since I plan to upload my mod on nexus, I'm not going to use someone else's work. I would be most grateful for help, oh and sorry for my bad english :) cheers
