  1. Mine started crashing after the patch as well. Uninstalled mods one at a time until it ran fine. Overlook Tower was the culprit, don't know why but now it runs fine.
  2. Had the same problem. Contacted Steam support. This is what they told me and it worked. -If you are running in Windows Vista or Windows 7, please completely exit Steam, and right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam and select "Run as Administrator." -If you are running in Windows XP, take the following steps (ignore these if you are using Windows 7 or Vista): 1) Exit Steam. 2) Go to the "Start" menu, select "Run", type "regedit" and click "OK". 3) Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VALVE 4) Right click and select "Permissions" 5) Check the "Allow" boxes for "Admin" and "System" for both "Full control" and "Read". Then verify the GCF for this game: Title: Verifying Game Cache Files (GCF) Link: http://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 Hope this helps.
  3. What version of SKSE are you using? I had the same problem until I installed SKSE 1_04_10.
  4. Nobody hates Steam more than I do. That being said, I don't see the problem here. At this point in time, no one is being forced to d/l their mod to Steam. If some one spends countless hours making a mod and chooses to use Steam as their venue for distribution in order to make a little money then that is their business and no one else. We don't have a God given right to use someone's intellectual property for free just because we have been fortunate enough to have Nexus for the past few years and have become used to it. I personally won't use the Steam workshop in any fashion. I understand the concerns people have as to where Steam is going with all this, and the only thing I can do about it is choose not to use the Workshop. If enough people do this then it will just fade away from lack of use.
  5. 100 hrs in the vanilla game, 6 CTD. 200 hrs with 1.3.10, no ctd, no freezes. 10 hrs with newest patch, 4 ctd and 2 freezes. Just installed SKSE 1.04.10 to see if anything changes.
  6. I am stuck with the same loop. Can't do anything but submit or fight. Tried to submit but the guard just loops back to Halt submit or fight no matter which choice I make. Wouldn't matter but subsequent quests require you to go back and the same thing happens all over again.
  7. Delphine and Esbern are at Sky Haven. Talk to Delphine and she will tell you what to do.
  8. I fast traveled with Shadowmere got off and pursued the quest. Came out on a ledge on the other side of the cave. Fast traveled back to Whiterun and no Shadowmere. He is lost and I can't find him anywhere. Fast traveled to all the stables and farms. No luck.
  9. The program you are referring to is CASM_NV. It saves based on criteria you set up.
  10. I may just be dumb and can't find it. Is there a track this file option on the new Nexus?
  11. He never shows up. As I walk down the road about where he should run up and question me, any Legionaires in the area start shooting at me. I am wearing non faction combat armor, gun holstered. Now that I think of it, the same thing happens when I go to Nipton. No companions.
  12. Killed Benny. Saw Mr. House. Got the mark of Caesar. Every time I go to Cottonwood Cove, the Legion attacks me no matter what my status is with them. All this started after the last patch. Anyone else have a similar problem?
