  1. I can't get access either. I was hoping to ask someone if they had a mirror link or if they would kindly send it via e-mail.
  2. I remember seeing a mod for samurai-type robes/hakama (for male characters), but I forgot to bookmark it, and was wondering if anyone knows about it. I wanted it for my samurai themed character this time around, but I wanted to rotate it between the Akavir mod and the Blades armor. Thanks for the help in advance. Edit: Never mind, found it after doing some detective work of my own.
  3. Thanks so much. Interestingly enough, it was the font.erf that was causing it, as I tried removing everything else only to have the same problem. And sorry if I came across blunt in my first post. Was totally not my intention. A kudos for you. :)
  4. That's not what I meant. You get +1 approval no matter what when you're at Ostagar and you feed the prisoner who then gives you a key to the Mages' Chest when you're with Alistair. I'm talking about this: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/The_Hungry_Deserter And I know the results for the merchant at Lothering. I'm giving examples. I just don't get approval, whatsoever, even after choosing the correct dialogue options. The same thing occurs whenever I click on ANY of my companions and talk with them. It's not a matter of me not knowing how to gain their approval, because I do, but the fact that something within the game WON'T let me gain approval.
  5. Yesterday I started a new game and everything was going fine until I got to Ostagar, and with Alistair in my party, I went over to feed the prisoner. Normally, you're supposed to get a +1 approval from him if I recall correctly, but I didn't. I thought it was odd, but later on in Lothering, I decided to test it out with the merchant (the one fighting with the Chantry lady) with both Alistair and Morrigan in my party, but I didn't gain the disapproval from Alistair OR the approval from Morrigan. So I had conversations with them each separately, and while it says that the codex was updated (in the case where I ask Alistair about Eamon raising him), again, no approval. The approval bar doesn't change, either. However, when I present them with gifts (such as the Tribal Necklace for Morriangan), their approval does go up. I'm guessing it's a mod conflict or something that got overwritten in the core, but I'm not too sure as I'm not tech savvy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Any additional info that might help: Patch 1.04, Mods Installed Recently (at the same time of starting a new game): Rapture's Lightsabers, Shadow Warden's Armor, Faster Combat, Increased Difficulty (EX). Tried deleting them all and starting a new game but the results were the same.
  6. I'm not really an expert on modding so bear with me if I don't know the technical terms for anything. I'm pretty sure most of you know that Awakening has been scheduled for release next month. And in the FAQs that were released, Bioware stated that DLC items wouldn't be allowed to ship over with your character among other things (like Jesus style resurrection Warden but that's beside the point). My request, however early it may be, is for someone to allow items like Starfang, Helm of Honnleath, the Warden Commander's Set; etc, to be made available in Awakening. That being said, if it's not possible due to unavailable sources (I think I read this somewhere about people not being able to touch DLC because of this; not sure if it's the real reason), then I'm alright with that too. Only thing I can give if this is made however, is my thanks and some kudos.
  7. It's entirely possible to exceed 75 because of runes and equips (and dwarf) spell resist gear: - Crow Daggers: 10% 8% 8% | 8% 6% 6% (or the best Dweomer runes you have) - Spellward: 30% - Ancient Elven Gloves: 4% - Shielded Dwarven Armor: 4% - Antivan Leather Boots: 4% - Key to the City: 4% Totals 92% spell resist, and then you add in Dwarf resist to make it 102% (or more, assuming Dweomers were used; runes were just mentioned in passing above).
  8. Personally, I thought this was one of the parts of the game where it was REALLY gray, where nothing was set in stone.
  9. Any speculations on the exact release date? I'm guessing this week, before the 25th. @above: what egg? Where?
  10. Played Hard first, then eased my way into Nightmare. Now on every other playthrough it's Nightmare or bust.
  11. I'll admit, I am biased against dwarves. I've tried every other storyline, both male and female (but only beat the game on Human male noble), and pretty much going through the City Elf male storyline. I personally liked the City Elf origin, especially playing the female version although I'm a guy myself.
