  1. Because I so dearly want to play, I took the time to reinstall, keep a fresh install at the ready, untick plugins and then retick them after Helgen, and then untick every mod and add in mods by which I thought would have least trouble to greatest, you know, ticking mods back into loadup that would most likely not culprit for CTD, I got to the point in my many hours of sleepwaiting where I CTD on a certain day, 27th of Last Seed at Gerder's, and I ended up narrowing it down to ONE mod causing me crashes when loaded with Immersive Creatures --- it's called "Various Hunter" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32877/? this was causing me crashes, and I think it conflicts with Immersive Creatures, or something. So glad to be rid of it in my lineup I can tell ya that.
  2. Hey but with Scarcity, that it shows all the plugins from 2x to 10x, the only way to be rid of the ones you aren't using is through Wrye Bash right? Im not sure how to do it but merge them somehow, unsure..
  3. Might help; Speed and Stability Guide for ENB, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/? Decrease That Grass - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58268/?
  4. Nah, doesn't fix it  I'm sure the cleaner would help in other ways, but this crash is inevitable, no matter how many times I start over :/ I will start again with only really necessary mods that affect gameplay, not stuff like sleeping innkeepers, size down my list some more.. I'll sleep/wait for 31 days from the very start too, see what happens.
  5. I dont have all of them on, all the plugins for Scarcity load into the order anyways, I just choose two, and Scarcity - Less Loot Mod.esp. This problem with the mods is so obscure I don't think anybody can answer it, tis a shame, I liked that mod list :/ You mean this..? Skyrim Save Cleaner.. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/? ..never knew about that one, gonna check it out ! I only knew about this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
  6. Oh and I only use the SkyRe Enemy Scaling and Encounter Zones Modules, the others I'd rather have other mods for..like SPERG and Deadly Combat / Enhanced Enemy AI / Revenge of the Enemies
  7. I run Windows 7 64 bit, Radeon R7 Series 2 Gigabyte VRAM?, (I think..) and a quad core CPU with 8 GB of RAM. I've given up nearly, playing through a few times, each time removing mods, trying to keep Skyrim from crashing. I just like this list, but I guess something has to go, it has to be mod related I guess. I've done everything here, all mods are cleaned and in LOOT order: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2347234-complete-mod-list-and-instructions-for-future-reference/ Looked here, http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2896990 a similar problem... Not having "No Boring Sleep Wait" mod doesn't matter, I tried to sleep and wait through it, even at an earlier save, but it comes to a point where it just crashes. At console, ClearInvalidRegistrations doesn't have any effect, as I've not uninstalled any mods, have kept them from start, so no orphans. I don't know if adding mods at any time is a problem, so I kept them installed since the beginning, knowing they become part of your save, maybe I should exit helgen cave and then add mods, so I can keep a save up to that point at least, but I thought they have to be there on a fresh game from the very start or things get buggy if you just start adding mods whenever? I'm unsure about that. I CTD at a certain point, over multiple games, as if some kind of courier is on its way and glitches, some kind of world event. But I don't know what it is. I feel as if I could get past this point, my game would go back to being stable, and it has been stable, up till now. The only time I crashed to desktop this time playing was when I tried to quicksave exiting the merchant in Riverwood. I tried to sleep through it, this CTD, to bypass it maybe, but I can't even sleep in my own bed without being booted to desktop. I expedite faster to the point when I CTD just by sleeping, as if it happens at a certain hour, like something queues up and fails or conflicts, something working in the background. Feels like it must be some kind of script, or world interaction of some sort having troubles. I don't wanna just keep reinstalling and setting up the mods when my CTD problem is just going to happen inevitably. Perhaps one of these mods is the culprit? I read it isn't really safe unticking the mods and then trying from there, you'd have to end up clearing out the orphaned scripts, I have none at this point, I guess I could remove them one by one, but I need to start over if I do that. Next time if I do decide to start over (out of the many I have had to..) I'll use Mod Organizer, maybe. My save game is 9.56 MB at level 20 I have these mods (99 mods): This is load order (136): I get this in Papyrus log when booted, but not sure if it is the issue - I also got this log, when fast travelling to Markarth, being that it was the furthest away from me around Ivarstead. I don't even like to fast travel when playing normally though. I tried Memory Blocks Log, and I reach only 287 or so MB, so that (memory) is not causing the crash it would seem. I can stand still after loading my save, and I can countdown to when the CTD will happen, like the impending doom, as if it is a script, but that script shown in my log above according to here, one at the end on the first set: https://sites.google.com/site/skyrimsurvivorseries/frostfall/troubleshooting does not cause CTD, is supposedly just part of the log maybe. I don't know though. I dare not use Wet & Cold along with Frostfall though, probably definite lag there. I have played several games up to the point that I am at right now. I got the farthest this time though. Removing Sounds of Skyrim let me take the wagon to Riften without crashing, thought I had it then, but still crash  I am tiring of playing the same parts through :/. They're all about the same play time, and it just inevitably CTD's. I continue from a save, once I crash, I crash always from that point after loading it, is very disheartening. I love Skyrim, and I want to make this work though! I get no CTD's up until a certain point. I had a follower, Barbas, that dog of Clavicus Vile's, but even if I tell em to stop following the CTD will happen. I can time it. It couldn't be a graphics issue, because I can look at a wall and the CTD will happen. Just wish some kind of guru that knew what's going on could help..one of these mods must be at fault. I never knew Skyrim could crash until I modded it. I had about 200 hours unmodded Skyrim, never a crash, ever that I recall. With this mod list, it seems it will happen at a certain point in time, I've no idea why. Oh BTW, you can't merely say "use an earlier save", because if I wait long enough, it crashes inevitably, catches up with the latest save, Wtf? Maybe it is some kinda quest mod doing it... Which ones are script heavy? I can't do without Frostfall, and Realistic Needs and Diseases is a cool mod. I wonder what incompatibility exists...Had no CTD's up until this point in the game, many hours in, maybe what 10 hrs? I have to play in 10 hrs to get a CTD...lol...then they become solidly reproducible. Which mods should I remove? I guess that is the only answer, start removing mods, but I've no idea where to start  + I like these mods, would be hard removing any at all, I thought they'd be good together.. I've taken a long time getting this list of mods together, it's a very neat list, and would be hard removing any, but I hope someone knows something, somewhere...cuz as it is, the game is unplayable..
  8. I went back and made sure I had all patches, namely, Complete Crafting Overhaul patches and Sounds of Skyrim / Climates of Tamriel compatibility, which you manually install. Removed some mods, I don't seem to be booted anymore. This list seems stable so far..
  9. *Skyrim Complete Mod List and Instructions - For Future Reference.* This is here to walk through every step for installing everything for mods currently I use; I keep tech stuff to a minimum when explaining, & I think it will help to get me/you started quicker. LOOT Order: I really like this list, has most everything, but I'm still getting CTD's randomly.. Running on Windows 7 x64, AMD Radeon R7 260x Series 1024MB VRAM, 8 GB RAM, 2.60 GHz AMD Phenom II X4 810 Processor, and SSD. Necessary Utilities: Nexus Mod Manager: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/? To install mods straight from their .zip / .7z / .rar as DL'd, to organize mods. Wrye Bash: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1840/? To create bashed patch, which creates leveled lists & makes everything meshed to play well together, right click Bashed Patch, 0.esp and "Rebuild Patch", then "Build Patch". Do this last after all mods are installed and LOOT'd SKSE: http://skse.silverlock.org/ You will use Skyrim (SKSE) icon to load Skyrim from now on in. SKSE adds scripting functions to Papyrus scripting language. LOOT: https://loot.github.io/ To keep mods in their proper load order to avoid conflicts. You see which mods need cleaning when done as well. TES5Edit http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? To make sure Skyrim will load properly with current mod loadout, it will show you when scanning through mods if there is a load error, and what it is. To clean mods, right click in left window on a mod, and "Apply Filter for Cleaning", then according to LOOT, clean mods by selecting them, and right clicking > "Remove Identical to Master Records" and "Undelete and Disable References". Then quit and save. Some mods shouldn't be cleaned according to their creators. Save game script cleaner: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? Can remove orphaned scripts left behind, should be used by making backups of saves. I wouldn't ever use it again, save games can become unplayable if you only remove orphaned scripts. The mods I have installed stay the whole way through. ------ Download ENBSeries at bottom of this page: http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0264.htm Open Wrapper Version, copy enbhost.exe, enblocal.ini, d3d9.dll to Skyrim main folder. Open enblocal.ini and look for the line "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true", if false, change to true. ENBoost is included in most recent ENBseries binaries. Create new txt doc w/ the following: [NotPlacebo] GiveFirstBornToSheson=1 Save txt file as SKSE.ini & place in SKSE folder found in Skyrim Data folder. I think I would rather use SSME at the Nexus over that guy's uploaded .dll: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305/? -Or- (The NEW way, after 1.7.1 SKSE, the old way is not needed) Note: These settings are pasted in SKSE.ini. SKSE.ini is placed in your Skyrim\Data\SKSE folder. I created one because it wasn't there. SKSE has Sheson's memory patch but it's disabled by default. This activates the patch in SKSE; you open skse.ini and enter these lines. It makes it so you don't have to use SSME, or add any of the above. Uninstall unnecessary programs, keep video drivers up-to-date, use black desktop with few icons, shut down unnecessary programs before Skyrim start, I.E.: multiple explorer.exe runs (save highest memory run). --- I use Xpadder http://xpadder.com/forum4/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=4837 with a PS/2 controller with an adapter called kikijoy - it is a very old adapter, I bought more than a decade ago, but enables me to play with my PS/2 dualshock 2 controller / Razer Naga mouse at the same time. Once you get used to playing this way, you simply do NOT play with the keyboard anymore. You can set every hotkey needed to the controller and it is a very fun & relaxed way to play. Give it a shot, your immersion will be increased many, many times over if you get used to holding a mouse in one hand for precision and a PS/2 controller in the other hand for maximum control. Xbox controllers will not allow this method of play because of their construction. Just disable the Xbox controller option to use mouse as well with Xpadder. I tried playing with my PS/3, http://www.motioninjoy.com/ and http://betterds3.ciebiera.net/ but my wireless control (connected by USB) shut off too much. Sony PS/2 dualshock, the best controller ever made. ..I wish someone could have made it this simple for me! People carry on about so many things without getting to the point too, which makes for a lot of needless reading over a lot of space. Had to search a bazillion pages to get this info, nice to have it in one place.
  10. Ok I Will I am new to forum...sorry bout that...my bad, here is load order: The HelgenRandomSoundScript causing the trouble - the solution is here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1221829-quickstart-issues-helgenrandomsoundscriptonupdate/ You end up having to delete that script in particular with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? That still doesn't fix CTD's...now I crash all the time upon entering game after removing that heh I got rid of the mod that was making _NUL_LightBearerAbility.psc - it's called Immersive NPC in the dark I rebuilt my bashed patch with Wrye Bash, no CTD now, got out of that one!
  11. I've run into a bad time w/ CTD's, this one involves crashing just after sleeping or waiting, I need to sleep because I use RND. I can't go on with the game because of it  I wanna get immersed! I love this game, will do whatever it takes to get it right. Has already taken days, but I know it's worth it. Skyrim seems to crash after using any bed to sleep, or after waiting. This is my mod list, 175 active plugins (which I think is a very good list I've put together,) & Papyrus log below... This is the Papyrus log: (I know not what to look for with errors, I just know the CTD is due to a mod or a script(s), that is why I post here..pretty sure you don't need the whole thing, just how it ends? I included the whole entire log..) That's it. I try not to be verbose on tech issues & get str8 to the point. I look @ other posts asking this same question, none of them are answered w/ something that solves. I hope someone knows what's up and why I get a CTD every single time after I sleep / wait. Help me out if possible, I've cleaned my mods w/ TES5Edit & organized them w/ Loot. I fixed other CTD's I had so far with ENBoost, and the SKSE edit/hack, which I guess comes with SKSE 1.7.1 packaged with it already.. http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2729&start=40#p45684 This is more info on Papyrus settings: http://www.creationkit.com/INI_Settings_%28Papyrus%29 But as a Bethesda dev said here, http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1487930-getting-a-lot-of-script-lag-going-over-10000-ms-sometimes/?p=23340131 The default Papyrus settings are fine. I have a good machine, 64 bit Windows 7, 2.60 GHz CPU quad core, 8 gigs RAM, 4 gigs VRAM, all updated, though system specs most likely don't relate to this CTD, thought I'd mention anyway. Thanks! I really wonder what it could be?!....
