Thanks, led me to what I needed. The line was fShadowDistance which was not even in my pref file. I knew it had to be something I was missing because a fresh instal unodded skyrim didn't even fix it. I really don't understand how it was missing yet I played skyrim for years without and until I tried out a lighting mod and didnt like it and uninstallled it. I had not even toughed my pref for months. Silly skyrim :laugh:

Not really a mod problem I do not think but I seem to get exterior long distance shadow radius. It pretty much acts like how you set your settings in the pref file with grass(fGrassStartFadeDistance) for example with sunshine. I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to fix this problem without just uninstalling everything. I even have old skyrim pref and old enb settings from months past, tried loading skyrim with no mods including texture ones and still can not get rid of the long distance shades that act like a radius to wherever I move. Anybody have any tips on how to fix this? I guess I am hopeful theres a setting in the pref that needs adjusted for sunshine or shade radius.
