  1. New Vegas Mod Manager has a .bsa unpacker I think. Here is the link to download: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35726 If not I know I am using my FO3 Mod Manager to unpack and it works fine as well.
  2. FNV is now found in Programfiles/Steam/SteamApps/Common/FalloutNewVegas. Hope that helps.
  3. On FO3nexus is a guy by the name of Miax who has many wonderful and essential tutorials....here is a link to his GIMP/Nifscope texturing tutorial...be sure and check out all of his work----do advanced search for "miax". good luck.... http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6107 To add a new texture ( MyTex.dds, MyTex_n.dds) in the geck, you need to make a new textrue set in the Miscellanous/texture set section of the object list. Then you open the object you want the texture to be applied to and edit the object by applying you new texture to it----making sure you rename the object (MyWastelandOutfit---whatever, so that you don't change the original obect in the game).
  4. All you need to do to show the companion wheel is to have the companion set as a teammate via result script.... MyCompanionRef.setplayerteammate 1 If you want an example to follow, look at VNPCFollowersQuest in the GECK to see how they did it. You may also have to use a lot of the items/topics in the quest to get the functions on the wheel to work properly. The Bethesda Forums have a couple of good discussions going in the New Vegas Geck section also. http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1133477-question-companion-wheel/
  5. I haven't used FNV Mod Manager yet, but if it is similiar to FO3 MM then it should work like this: When you download a mod, open NVMM, click on Package Manager on right side, click on Add FoMod in the package Manager window, find the mod you downloaded (packManager should extract file and add the .esp file to the main window), click on the new mod in the Pack window and then click on Activate....close Package manage window........the new mod .esp can be moved in the main window by click/dragging it up and down in the load order. That's the basics.....hope this helps.
