  1. I've noticed (since beginning to replay FO4 after ~1 yr) that the night sky, including stars and the moon, flicker when I move the camera. I can also see boxes or outlines of the light/reflection in the skybox. The skybox is pixellated as well. Is this a normal issue people experience with the game, or is something wrong on my end? I have no mods installed and am playing on a recently downloaded version of the game. The only piece of hardware that has changed in the recent past is my monitor. I've gone from 1920x1200 to 2160x1440 and now have GSYNC. I have disabled GSync for FO4, but that doesn't appear to solve the issue. If anyone has solved this issue, or has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear to them. Thanks!
  2. So recently I've been trying to fix what's been causing skyrim to stutter, and after a few days of attempting to fix it, I just gave up. After being unable to fix that, I decided to play Oblivion again, and guess what... stuttering! I'm fully aware that Bethesda's games have been plagued with micro stutters, but the stuttering I'm getting from both games isn't as I would call "micro". The strange thing is is that I maintain a steady 57-60 FPS most of the time (95% of the time at least)(on both games), but still get stutters. The stuttering in Skyrim isn't as bad as Oblivion's, which is even stranger, and that's with no mods and a clean .ini file. To try and solve the problem, I lowered all of the settings down to their lowest and still had the large stutters. When looking left and right, and up and down I had no stutters, but moving around and looking at certain area's got it to stutter really bad. I should also mention that no mods or expansions have been installed and they all are both up to date. I did discover that by disabling Vsync in both games, my stuttering stopped, but then got horrible screen tearing. Enabling got rid of the screen tearing and brought back the stuttering. Using CCC to modify these settings didn't change anything. The reason why I mention Skyrim is because I had the same issue as I am now with Oblivion, so I want to see if I can actually discover what is behind this. I understand if Skyrim cannot be improved any more, but Oblivion is running... pretty much like crap at the moment and it's really annoying. My system specs: Intel Core i3 3220 @ 3.30GHz AMD Radeon HD 7850 8GB RAM Windows 7 x64 1900x1200 Standard Resolution @ 60Hz Any Help would be appreciated.
  3. Hello, When it comes to lighting mods, and how to make the game look really good, I'm at a complete loss. In particular I'm looking for a lighting mod that keeps the vanilla Skyrim feel, but increases the saturation just a little. I also don't look the vanilla sun or sun glare and I'm wondering what mod does a good job at replacing it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Shortly after my game crashed I tried reloading my previous save, but every time I load it my character dies. I attempted to load the save before that but I only received the same result. I then went back another save and it was fine, but it's pretty far back. After trying a few things, I discovered that disabling FOSE solved the issue, but I cannot leave it off. I tried making a save without it but when loaded it with FOSE my character died instantly. Has anyone encountered this problem before or is there even a fix? I don't want it to be one of those corrupt saves. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Right before the crash I had just killed some super mutants and then fast traveled to Rivet City. It crashed on loading.)

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this, I'm pretty new here(in the forums at least) So I'm trying to attach some textures to a weapon from some old mod that has no .esp file that came with it. I want to replace another weapon with this one, but I don't know how to attach the textures that come with it. There are 8 textures and I can only put in 6 into a texture set. The textures I am able to add however don't go on correctly and make everything look like it was just wrapped around. What do I need to do to correctly apply the textures to the weapon? Any help would be really appreciated, thanks! Also, if anyone knows what I should do if given two weapons (one regular and one regular+animation), where should each go?
  6. It doesn't appear that CCC is doing anything to affect the AA at all. AF is working though.
  7. After searching around the internet, I cannot seem to find a solution to my problem. There appears to be some pixels wrapping around textures when I get close up, or when I look far away. I've noticed this problem in both Skyrim and Fallout 3. In Fallout, when I'm looking outward, the pixel issue is even more noticeable and doesn't go away unless I get closer. Some of the things I've tried to do is mess around with my video card's setting in CCC (Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB) and adaptive Multisampling seems to be what's causing the issue, but disabling it makes the textures look awful. I know that earlier AMD video drivers caused pixelation issues, but this does not seem to be the same as that (or is it...) . If anyone has encountered this or has a fix, I'd love to hear from you.   8. I seem to be having difficulty in solving why the water in my game is showing up pink. I've tried uninstalling oblivion, downloading several water mods, went through my archive invalidation.txt, disabled several mods, and did some looking around in my oblivion.ini file. Before the water was pink I couldn't see anything from above but I could see when underwater. When I was looking at my oblivion.ini file I noticed that bUseWaterDepth and busewaterlod were both =0, so I changed them =1. After I restarted the game the water was that pink color. I'm assuming it's a missing texture since when I installed a custom one it appeared and the pink was gone.   9. How could I have random bandits in cryodiil have custom weapons that I put in to the game? (The weapons are to be found just like any other vanilla weapons.)
  10. I am having a problem with obge and liquid water where it causes my screen to go all black except for my health bars, compass, and weapon and magic slots. No crashing occurs in interiors, but I can't see anything except my torch and my HUD. Also, when I leave the interior (Im by the sewer exit) the game does crash. This only appears to happen with obge but I don't think its a liquid water problem. Someone mentioned that it was a AA problem but my AA is disabled as it says in my options menu. I also edited the .ini file and have directx 9. Bloom and hdr are off. Liquid water is being used a a omod and obge was installed manually. I also used both the obge core package and the shader package.
