This isn't a game breaking problem per say, but it does help to ruin the immersion of my game. I currently use Animated Dragon wings and HDT wearable tails to represent a half-dragon character I created, mostly because the half dragon races I found weren't to my liking. However, I do have a few mods that sometimes unequip certain player gear for other types of gear. Which usually isn't a problem, except that it unequips the tail during these occurrences. And the tail can be worn with said other items, yet it always unequips for little to no reason. So is there a console command in which I could permanently equip an item to my character, or is there a mod like that either? Or, better yet, is there a mod that is like HDT Wearable Tails but acts in the same way Animated Dragon Wings acts, as a potion effect instead of an item, or that it makes the tail a permanent part of the character? Any help would be appreciated.

Lets pretend cost isn't an issue. I want to know what kind of desktop, pc, or computer or whatever is best for gaming. Which one should I invest my money in. Any suggestions?

So I've been trying to install these Add all shouts mods into my game manually, as that's what they all say to do. I wanted to install a mod for both the regular game, the dlc, and for thunderchild. Unfortunatley, I've no clue how to install these mods correctly. Apparently I need to copy them into my Skyrim directory folder, but I've no real idea what that is. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. I've always used NMM, so I'm at a loss. Can anyone help?

This is the problem: My game keeps freezing and crashing within a few seconds of starting up the save, whether or not it's a new save. I don't know why, it just either freezes than CTDs, or stays frozen for all of conceivable time until I CTRL-ALT-DEL and sign out. I run LOOT, and I'm fairly certain I've installed my many mods correctly. I've also cleaned out all my mods(at least the ones LOOT told me were dirty) using TES5Edit, excluding Brows, but I doubt that's causing the problem. Here are all my mods, not in order. Ok, so I can probably run the same setup, except using the Skyrim HD-2K Textures-FULL LITE version. That puts my graphics in order, I just have to install them correctly. I also plan on installing several script heavy mods, such as Frostfall. Are there any methods that I can use to increase my game performance, and are there any methods I can use to prevent possible crashes?

I'm attempting to download and install, via NMM, some mods to increase my in game graphics. But I first want to know if my computer can handle it. I plan to download and install ENB, Realvision ENB, Static Mesh Improvement Mod(SMIM), Skyrim HD-2K Textures, Flora Overhaul, Pure Waters, Pure Waterfalls, Climates of Tamriel, and Enhanced Lights and FX. Do you think my computer will be able to handle all these mods on Ultra High Quality? So these are my computer specs, or at least I think they are? I'm not very "computer savvy". I can't run the patcher because the heap space error keeps on popping up, so I tried the bat file. But that isn't even opening! I can't install the patcher, and I don't know why.

So I'm attempting to run the Perkus Maximus patch, except after about 15 minutes, the error above pops up. I've a lot of mods, so I expect the patch to take a lot of time, so, if possible, I'd like a surewire way to fix the problem instead of testing it over and over again in attempt to solve it, as that'd take a very long time. Any help is appreciated.

I've no real big problems with all my mods, so I didn't post this is "mod troubleshooting". I'm just curious, if you have a pretty low end computer, like mine, or even a high end computer, with a lot of mods, how can you better increase your game performance? Like for example, I can run SMIM, Skyrim HD Textures-LITE, Pure Waters/Waterfalls, and Flora Overhaul without much lag, but I have to set my graphics to medium to be able to do so, otherwise my lag, freeze,and crash rate goes up by a wide margin. Are there any mods or general tips and tricks out there that can help increase my performance so that I could set my graphics to a higher setting?

So, whenever I start up Skyrim, the biggest reason for random crashes is when that above pops up, and my game either freezes or crashes. I have plenty of mods, but it has done this with the same amount consistency without mods, so they're not the problem. I've bumped my graphics as far down as to low and it still pops up. I've updated my drivers, and it still pops up. I've moved my Skyrim folder out of (C:)\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common into (C:)\Games and it still pops up. I've run the game as administer and it still pops up. I've attempted troubleshooting it and it still pops up. I've even done a full uninstall and reinstall of both game and all my mods, which took several hours, AND IT STILL POPS UP!!! So, nothing I've tried has worked, and I've no idea what to do. Any ideas would be a great big help.

Recently, I updated my driver to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 in attempt to get rid of an CTD cause(Where Skyrim would crash and a notification in the bottom right corner would pop up saying "TESV.exe has been blocked from your graphics hardware", or something like that). Unfortunately, that didn't work to solve that problem, and another, even bigger problem began. My game now crashes within 5 minutes of playing the game, and gives no indication of why. It's not mod conflicts, I think, because it worked just fine until now. So, is it possible that updating your drivers can cause Skyrim CTDs, or am I possibly blaming the wrong thing? If I'm right, and this update is the cause of my woes, are there any known fixes, or at least general ideas? How can I help figure out the problem? Will our hero save the day or die a grisly death? So, first it was where I couldn't even load up a game, as it would just crash. I fixed that problem by doing a total reinstall of all my mods. Than it was where the game would crash 3 seconds after the new game loaded and my character entered AS cell. I fixed it be reintroducing my several mods a few at at time. NOW it crashes after I talk to the statue of Mara and either leave the cell or sleep on the bed, the latter in which case it loads up where I chose to go via Mara statue but then crashes 3 seconds later. It's probably not a skeleton issue because, if it was, my game would CTD as soon as I clicked the bed. It's probably not because of to many scripts, because my game runs almost perfectly within the cell, no matter all the crazy shenanigans I do inside it. I have absolutely no clue what to do, where to start, or how to fix it. I am a lost lamb who keeps getting into trouble, PLEASE help, if you can. I use LOOT, NMM, and TES5Edit. Well, it's not actually infinite, since the large amount of pop ups eventually crashes my computer, but you get the idea. SO, to get to the point, I run RealVision ENB, and I am very, very certain that I installed it correctly. I hope, anyways. But because I'm greedy AF, i run it at full capacity to get the best Skyrim graphics possible. Unfortunately, my computer is like, as old as Skyrim itself, so it can't handle the load, and my FPS just plain sucks. So I decide to run Razer Cortex in hopes that it will help boost my FPS without me having to dip my graphics below High.
