Ok, first let me describe what I've got going on, and what I'm trying to accomplish. I played Skyrim for a while when it first came out, loved it, but my video card fried and I wasn't able to afford a new one for a while so I didn't play for a long time. (Like a year or so) Got a new video card, deleted all of my previous save information, updated the mods I had installed already. Installed Dawnguard and updated the game. Started playing. Later added a few other new mods I found interesting. Now, I've gotten pretty far into the game, and have many hours put into it and creating my character. Unfortunately, I've noticed a few "bugs" inherent in either the game, or a result of some of the mods that I have installed. (Like, for some reason, I cannot purchase the alchemy lab for Breezehome. The dialogue appears to work, but the dialogue option never disappears and even though he's taken my 500 gold several times over, It never gets updated.) So basically what I would like to do is this... Completely un-install and re-install the game, and then start adding in the mods and testing them one by one. Unfortunately, using a save that had all of these mods loaded, and then loading it without any mods can cause some problems from my understanding. (little issues like gear/spells disappearing isn't an issue per se, but I fear CTD or further corruption issues.) Of course the best thing to do would give up the many hours I've spent playing already, but I'd rather if I could find a way to essentially "Clean" my savegame of mod data or changes made by mods. Now, I use NMM to install mods from here, and Steam to install mods from Steam (which so far is limited to Dawnguard). I've used BOSS to work on the load order, and am right now attempting to figure out how to use TES5Edit on a update.esm and Dawnguard.esm because BOSS says I should clean them. However, if that fails to fix a couple of the issues, I'd like another option to fix it that doesn't require starting from level 1 again. Also, just for informational purposes... Here's my .ini And here's my current Mods. Edit: I've decided to nevermind on using TES5Edit. It's beyond my comprehension, and besides, the issues shows are with Update and Dawnguard so I'll ignore that for now because I likely shouldn't attempt to "clean" them anyhow.
