It says I need: What's HDR? Would reinstalling Frostcrag's Distant LOD help?

I must've installed a mod that killed my cool view of Frostcrag Spire in the distance. I'm no expert, but what do I install to get it back?

I've mastered all the skills and have beaten every quest. I've added so many mods and found lots of favorites. Oblivion is getting to be boring so I'm thinking of starting all over. I assume I will just have to set my data files to default and do it again. . . Has anyone else started over? What mods do you begin with?

Any mods that add anything to Sundercliff Watch? I love revisiting and killing all over again. Is there a mod for adding more enemies or floors or anything?

Sundercliff Watch. I like going in there with 100% invisibility, walking right up to someone and putting an arrow in their head. Most of the time they go flying on impact!

I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I can't figure out where exactly. I bought the new Alienware M11x gaming laptop. I would really like to play my saves from my main computer on my new laptop. I know I have to install the game and all the add-ons and then all the mods I'm using too. Then I'll copy over the games saves. What other file(s) do I need for the transfer to work properly? I really don't want to have to start all over on another system. I'm finished with all the missions and I'm a Master at alomost every skill. Help?

So I use the .exe on the disk to install it and then I won't have to use the disk at all to play it anymore....?

Can I install Oblivion on a computer and not have to use the disk? I'm getting an 11.6' laptop without a DVD drive and don't want to be burdened by an external drive. I heard of mounting a drive which becomes a virtual drive on the hard disk, but I may be mistaken

I really love this mod, but can't finish it. I go into the oblivion gate to get the Heartstone and head up the tower like any other game. I follow all the arrows and get to the near top at the door called: Heartstone Reliquery. I open the door and all of a sudden I'm back in chapel with the quest arrow pointing me back into the non-existent gate. I've tried saving the head nun and taking her up the tower to the door with the same result. I've tried skipping past the nun quest and not saving her at all and the same thing happens. I've had her with me when she dies and still the same thing happens. I've killed her myself hoping that would fix it. I've equipped the bloodstone hoping that wearing it would make a difference and it has not. I've even used the console: closecurrentobliviongate and that doesn't work either! If it would work, I would prefer the item ID for the heartstone, or at least the setstage number that completes that quest and starts the next. I've seen this: setstage VHQ008 40 that supposedly ends the whole thing giving me the Verona house, but I don't even want it. I just want to play the quests....

I opened it here first, but then thought that maybe it should have been in the file request section. I looked to see if I could move this thread there, but I guess that's a moderator power.

Does anyone know of any mods or can one be made a Doom type of Mod. Same kind of military facility with lava flows and Doom versions of monsters? I just want to fight the bosses, like the HUGE one that shoots missles or the robot spider with machine guns! Actually, that sounds pretty difficult.

I posted this in general discussion, but I should have put it here. I searched the mods, but didn't find them. Here's what I'm thinking: Is there a mod that can be made that gives me a hand-to-hand buddy? Someone I can punch to up my skill without them fighting back? The problem is, every character fights back or flees. Even creatures I summon. I don't know if there's a way to make them not. Maybe a summon spell of someone who won't punch back or flee? Then I can just cast it again to dismiss them.

When you do the Frostcrag reborn mod you get a Frostcrag recall spell which I use all the time. There's also the Hoarfrost conduit recall. Even something like that would work for Avalon.

How about two teleport pads? Drop one where you want it to start and the other where you want it to go. Then I could have the main one at home where I can hop on and it'll take me to wherever I dropped the other.

I see that you can download other people's characters that they've already played to whatever level. My character is a level 72 Argonian that I would like to share, but how? Do I just post a game save or something? Where? I tried searching before posting, but didn't really know what to look for.

I love going down to Avalon in the Frostcrag mod, but I hate the long trek. I wish there was a teleport pad you could drop anywhere and fast travel right to it. Then you could teleport into your own house or where ever you wanted. Maybe go into sneak to pick it up or move it?
