  1. Well remember the big door only opened once you showed up. No way in unless he opens the way which he only does for you.
  2. Remember no one else can get into the Lucky 38. You really did have the hardest part of killing him done for you. Also House made it quite clear he had no intention of killing you if you worked for him. Overall he is actually quite a good employer. Look how he treats the three families. Gave them rich and extravagant lifestyles in exchange for their work. He's a bit arrogant yes. But when you can determine using mathematics what people are going to do to within a small margin of error? Yeah you've earned that.
  3. Honestly I prefer House. The man has a plan, the will and the means to carry it out.
  4. Well mostly I want to use the powered power armour mod to add atmosphere to the mod I'm making.
  5. I'm thinking of making a fairly big mod but I'd like to use other mods as a resource. As in you need to have that mod installed to run it. How would I go about this? What do I need to worry about?
  6. My preferred end? Sick with the fact that the Lost Hills bunker is ignoring them the East Coast Brotherhood send an expedition west. Coming across the Mojave, a land in dire need they step in and with the help of the Courier help bring the region under their control. Things get better. Because thats what they do on the East Coast. They make things better.
  7. A few reasons. Mostly it just doesn't occur to them which in itself is a good thing as "reverse racism" is equally bad. But also because the setting isn't like the modern USA. It's more 1950s USA. The majority of those who got into the vaults are going to be white due to the more prevalent racism of the time.
  8. To everyone whining about the expanse to the west. That's the divide. It's coming in what will probably be either the next or the last DLC. Next maybe as there was a lot of stuff related to the divide mentioned in Dead Money. Maybe last as it appears the battle at the divide is meant to be the end of our story. At least it appears that it may be due to how its referenced in Dead Money.
  9. Exactly those are some problems I had. Not enough danger from the ghosts. I never had to run from them for example
  10. No one has figured out a solution huh? That sucks
  11. Congratulations you just realised that laws regarding video games and entertainment media ARE downright baffling at the best of times. Fallout New Vegas had to be heavily modified for sale in Germany for example.
  12. The law would be difficult and I doubt it's not being released there due to simple prattery. Most likely some law in the region is the reason it is not being released.
  13. Those laws wouldn't be valid outside certain territories.
  14. Biped objects are head, hair, upperbody, eyeglasses and mask. Equip type is bodywear
  15. Well I gave it a +40 rad resist, -2 charisma, +1 endurance, +2 luck and thats it. Bugs me though it has no first person model. All I see is hands floating in the air
  16. Pretty much I've converted the ghost people armour into something a player can use and I've noticed that in first person I can't see its arms. Just hands floating in thin air. Is there any way of dealing with this as it's kind of annoying?
  17. Yeah I play on normal and the ghosts weren't much of a hazard to me.
  18. Notice how they have a metric s*** ton of pre-war money? Think little grasshopper.
  19. I found the DLC highly entertaining. Unlike other people I didn't go into it screaming "I WANT THE PHAT LEWTZ!" I went in looking for adventure. I got that adventure. I got a story, I got characters who were interesting (although Dean was poorly developed up front and you couldn't delve into his past with him much) and I got a villain whom I could appreciate. I loved the collars and gas clouds as they served to make the ghosts genuinely dangerous. Without them I'd have had no trouble at all. The collar especially was entertaining as I would often stop and go "s*** can't go this way" forcing me to turn away from my objective and pursue a different path. Killing Elijah was rather rewarding as well and I through some cunning and patience managed to cart away all the gold. Bwaha. In the end I even got the armour of my dreams thanks to modding up some ghost people armour for my own use. On top of that I got an excellent gun in the form of the fully upgraded holorifle which replaced my old unique laser rifle. I didn't get a vault full of rewards. Which I didn't want. I didn't get a big open area to explore at my leisure and plunder. Which would have been nice and I have downloaded the return to sierra madre mod so I can go back and have more fun. But I did get what was advertised. An adventure. A casino heist.
  20. I enjoyed operation anchorage for what it was. A combat heavy adventure in an unusual setting in comparison to the rest of the game.
  21. No lights and the food dispensers didn't put out enough protein.
  22. Exactly. The DLC aren't so much about piling more on top of the game as they are about an adventure. They are quest mods. Very well done quest mods. Quest mods that give us more resources to use I might add.
