  1. I'm trying to replace a certain model part with another for a personal mod. I've followed the directions I've found in numerous places, but nothing seems to work. All of the directions state to copy bone weights (It SEEMS to work, until I open up the exported file in NifScope), and they say to Build Skin Partitions, but I don't see that option anywhere in Outfit Studio. I've tried to do a New Project and use the original body part as the reference, and then imported the new model (as both .obj from Blender and a .nif). When I do so, I get the following message: The reference shape has a skin coordinate system that is different from the global coordinate system. Would you like to copy the reference's global-to-skin transform to the imported shapes? Then, when I try to export the new model as a nif, I get the following error: The following shapes have unweighted vertices, which can cause issues. The affected vertices have been put under a mask. Do you want to save anyway? The body part I am trying to replace is for a power armor suit (the bodysuit, specifically)
  2. So, I worked on the armorname_1 file in Outfit Studio. Thank you for the advice with that. However, when I open up the file in NifScope the physical body is gone and only the armor is there. If there is no body file for the model, will it use the default body? If so, awesome. If not, crud, and I was hoping to learn how to add that to the Nif file without using blender.
  3. I was attempting that, but the armor was half inside the new base body. I'll try again and mess around with that program. If it doesn't work, I'll update on this thread. Also, I didn't know you could delete meshes inside the Outfit Studio. Thank you.
  4. Greetings. I've searched far and wide for a Skyrim version of an armor I used to have in Oblivion, and I have finally found it. Unfortunately, the armor was made to match a different body style than even the base female body style. I was wondering if anyone could possibly assist me with this. I've attempted to work on this using Blender, but I absolutel despise that program and I tend to just mess things up. The armor is Nora's White Rose armor, and the body style I'm using for my character is a CBBE one. I can provide both files to whomever volunteers to assist me with this. Just as a note, I don't plan on releasing this file anywhere. It is for my own personal use.
  5. I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me with a modification to two sets of armor that I'm attempting to merge together. For a set of armor, I'm combining the White Rose armor and the Cloud Serenity armors, using the greaves, boots, and gauntlets of the White Rose armor, and the torso of the Cloud Serenity armor. An issue I've come across is that the abdomen of the Serenity torso does not match with the upper pelvis area of the White Rose armor. Using the legs from the Serenity leggings of course is seamless with the torso, but when used as a replacement for the White Rose leggings there is a gap between the thigh and the leg armor and the legs clip into the armor. I was hoping someone with some modeling experience/skill could help me out with this, either fixing the abdomen from the torso, or fixing the legs from the Serenity leggings The other request I have is for an experienced texture artist to possibly create a texture for the Serenity torso armor (bustier portion, not the cape or 'muffler') using the White Rose torso's texture style. If anyone is up for this challenge, let me know and I will send you the files I currently have modified. Thank you.
