  1. Hi guys. I've recently edited some textures in PS but when they reflect light the textures look like plastic. Everything that I edited looks like painted white model, not textured. Something wrong with normalmaps?
  2. Hm, i tried to load mip maps while importing the file, but it did not work. The object is still white and yes - I was generating mipmaps with nvidia plugin :< EDIT: Hm, I chose the option not to generate mipmaps and it works right now. Thanks for the hint ;)
  3. Hi Guys! I've just edited a shield in Skyrim - tried to addnew wood texture. I saved it as dds and created a normalmap file from it. It work somehow but when I look at that shield from a distance it is all white, just a model without texture. Any ideas? I'm a noob as far as editing textures are concerned so I will be glad for any tips ;)
  4. 1. Animations by Genebriss 2. Above ;) 3. Personally I use a mix of BTRH Waifu and Bijin Wives/Warmaidens to cover more characters.
  5. Some of the mods aren't compatible with NMM - their folder structure is different so the Nexus Mod Manager can't really place the files in correct places. The thing is you can't install few mods that do the same thing (e.g - change the texture of male skin ) because they will overwrite and the textures will be ugly and displaced in most cases. If you want your game to look really awesome just install ENB - I use this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30936/? . It uses many effects but they will eat your gpu momory quickly, just give it a try. And I rocemmend to read every article linked on the ENB site - they are really helpful. As far as body mods are concerned you can follow a quick guide placed on Realvision ENB site here on Nexus.
  6. The performance of your game also depends on the texture mods you have installed but i guess you already know that. The mods like Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Verdant or Jk's Skyrim are one of the biggest FPS hitters I know. There are few things you can do to improve your performance: - disable dof and instal gopher's dynavision - disable ssao - optimize your textures via texture optymizer - properly adjust SKSE fix - install skyrim project optimization - change MaxAnisotropy=16 to =8 in enblocal.ini - read all the articles in Realvision Performance and Stability section I had the same gpu as you back then and I had some problems in Whiterun only I think. Hope this helps. Enjoy your game ;)
  7. Hi Guys! I've just extracted skyrim textures and tried to edit some dds files in PhotoShop - increase image size to 2048 or 4096 + adding some new textures via layers and some brushing. The problem is that when I install the new texture via NMM, the item ingame is all white. I tried to crteate a normalmap file to fix the issue - I did it but it did not work. I'll be thankful foryour help :D
