  1. This has been happening to me, too. What's going on, site team? Server farm go down? Trunk line get dug up by a backhoe? Christmas gremlins?
  2. That's a great idea, but it's a bit complex for my needs. I don't want to become the headmaster of a school. I'm playing a thief and assassin who doesn't want to bring kids anywhere near his life, but who still melts a little when children are orphaned. I just want a way to say "Hey, I can't take care of you, but I know a person/couple/school/group that can." Is there a way for this school to exist without my PC having to take an active role in it?
  3. That is true, but as the other Eydis is dead, and the one who owns the Inn has a son who is wondering where his father is, I'm leaning strongly towards the Inn owner.
  4. This is a very small thing, but on the body of Firir in Chillwind Depths, there is a note that he wrote to his wife, Eydis, who runs the Old Hroldan Inn. Unfortunately, there is no dialog option with Eydis to give her his letter and allow her to get some closure. I would request that someone with more modding savvy than I make a mod so that this interaction is possible. It may be that the code is in there, but not implemented, or it may have to be done from scratch. I have no idea. I just want to be able to give Eydis the last letter her husband ever wrote to her. It feels like only the right thing to do.
  5. I play with TheRealRyanB's "Drink, Eat, Sleep, Bathe" mod on all my characters, and I really like the immersion it provides. However, there is one major inconvenience: bathing areas in player homes. I've found plenty of custom player homes with bathing areas, and I've found mods to add bathing areas to pre-existing player homes (Breezehome, Honeyside, Hjerim, Vlindrel Hall, and Proudspire Manor), but there don't seem to be any mods to add a bath area to any of the Hearthfire homes: Lakeview Manor, Windstead Manor, or Heljarchen Hall. I'm not asking for anything super fancy. A stone pool with water in it, either inside (perhaps in the cellar?) or even outside (on the ground or maybe on one of the rooftop areas, such as the roof of the bedroom wing) is all I want. Failing that ... maybe someone could make VERY SIMPLE bath addition mods for the pre-existing player homes? There are existing mods that add baths to those homes, as I said earlier, but they all tend to be really over-the-top, adding all sorts of other things in addition to the bathing area. Like I said, just a stone tub full of water someplace would be awesome. If anyone is able to do this, I would be extremely grateful. You could even ask TheRealRyanB if he'd link to it from his mod, and if he does, I'm sure you'd get lots of people subscribing. Thanks. I look forward to any and all replies.
