Old post... But yeah... Same issue... Trying to use my grass mod on a fresh install and cannot get any grass to sort out... did my ini edits... load orders... even check in F4Edit... nada... All the settings are perfect... It just wont work ingame... any ideas?

Hey, Had a quick one for everyone... As I am stumped... Had my ENB working perfectly fine... No updates on FO4 no updates on the ENB... Everything was working perfectly... Started up FO4 today... Everything looked off, graphically... Also noticed the ENB text didn't show up at launch... Very odd... Soooooo... Started digging: Uninstalled everything to do with the ENB... Then launched... Resaved... Cleaned the save... Then relaunched... Saved a new file... Exited... Installed latest version of ENB Launched Nothing... Scratch head... broke a broom... anger management etc... had a pint... tried again Launched older save nada poured through the ENB .ini s... nothing outta place... Again nothing has changed with any of my files... I'm running latest versions of F4SE and NAC with Ultimate Immersion ENB (or I was) all via Mod Organizer 2... Buuuut I manually installed the ENB as we should... I really can't find any reasons on the tinter-webs and am kinda stumped... Any ideas outside of what I've done plez, I am all ears! Cheers!

Did you ever figure out what it was? I did the update and now it wont recognize the previous .ini edits... Tried new .ini's and a fresh install... Nada... Any help would be stellar! -

.INI FILES!!!!!!!! ARG!!!! Uninstalled everything... reinstalled... clean vanilla... threw my old .ini files back into docs... Same bug... Deleted em and re-tried... Works fine... Dammit!!! So much work... so, so many mods to reinstall... *SAD HANDS* :facepalm: -

Uninstalled EVERYTHING... Still same problem... Seriously F*cked off now... -
Okay... Everything worked fine yesterday... No dramas... Started today, and ran the CK, it did a 50mb update... now I got this... Games toast... Any ideas on what this bug is? or how I can go about fixing it? No one can move at all... but everything else functions... Sounds... weather... everything... It's like all the NPC's and player have been turned off... And I already tried console commands... Thinking maybe I left on one when I saved... I started a whole new game and it's the same with a fresh start... Started going through my mods that I updated in the last 24 hours, and with them on or uninstalled, no difference... Cheers in advance for any links, or help on this... Laaaast think I wanna do is a fresh install... Takes me days to get his stupid game up and running with all my mods... bloody laaaame! Further to this frustration the CK won't allow me to load more than one master file, so now I can't work on my mods... I tried adding the ballowmultiplemaster=1 or whatever to my .ini's and a custom one for the creationkitcustom.ini too... but nothing... Yeaaaaaah Cheers for the "update" bethesda...

Here's the idea... On death: Player falls to the ground...Player then bleeds out (20 - 30 seconds)...The screen fades to black...The screen fades in to talking to a doctor... (Dialog view, Dr. says an already in-game phrase about how you were almost dead)Player has woken up in nearest medical centre/doctors office...4 - 8 days pass, since blacking out...Doctor takes 60% of players caps as payment...Player is fully healed...Player carries on...But, I couldn't figure out the scripting, because I'm a mong... Laaaaame... If anyone wants to take this on... or can hold my hand through creation... Pretty please... I've been 'dying' for this mod... :woot:

Okay... I've gotta be a mega mong or some sh*t... I still for the life of me can't even get the materials to swap... Is there a tutorial somewhere? I've torn apart several mods... and still can't figure out how to tell the 'armor' to use the new textures... Is there an option in the CK headers? I can get a new model in game with all new names etc... as easy as skyrim, but forcing the model to use the new texture is not happening... Sooooooo... Frustrated...

Anyone thought of doing HESO variants? They'd need to be able to go in the ground to at least the halfway point and have models that can be stacked, but it could make for some cool walls... I was near the quarry, and saw some gravel walls, with the black rocks inside the rusted cross-hatched wire fencing... Basically, I'm trying to have it so the army fatigues camouflage can be changed at an armour bench... I've got the .dds' sorted... and the materials too... I mostly just cant get anything to show up in the armour bench... If I can get that far, as in, I take a set of Army Fatigues to a bench and it says 'Add-ons', then in that option there's my sub-options to 'Change Scheme', then you choose the scheme and it applies the new texture to the existing model... I can work from there... figuring out the file paths, if there are any errors... I'm just stumped on getting the options to edit materials in-game at the bench... Tore apart a couple of mods that work... and even after copying em a bit, things aren't showing up... Thus I must have missed something... Cheers!

But, I can't even get it to show up in the armour bench when editing the ingame existing Army Fatigues... Any help would be massively appreciated... Because I'm stumped... For now... Skyrim was miles easier to add new models and textures... This seems a lot more complicated... Nevertheless... Thanks again for any help...

Roge, Uninstalled everything... The whole thang... Reinstalled... after three days of testing every possible combination I could think of, no joy! Even with a new 'My Documents\my games\skyrim' folder... So confused... I got ride of the old tesval.dll, and installed an ENB... Lame... So sad... Thanks again to everyone for your help, even if it hasn't fixed things, I've learned some more, and I can't fault that... Your a bunch of legend! -

Hmmm... Interesting observation... I couldn't figure out what it means either... After reinstalling ENB and then turning it off ingame I get a little more time, more then the 10 minutes I was getting before, but only marginally... I was messing around to see if it is a memory issue and I'm still convinced... I spawned a bunch of NPC's around me and once the 256mb first allocation was used up, there was a massive stutter, then the next allocation was used up very quickly and a CTD occured... Just spent three hours with TES5EDIT, hacking away at anything not green... We'll see how that works... -

Ref low res... Yup figured this one out a while back too... The biggest textures I have running are 2048's on some armours, but I always opt for the 1024 res'... mostly because I'm only on a 17" monitor so I find the games look better in 720p and thus I can use 1024 textures and still have a very good looking game... I don't use ENB's... They seem to add more issues in my experience and even with them off or with the mods that have them run, but not utilize their graphics settings (forget the name of the mod)... I loose no less then 10 fps... Got a 2gb card... and as an example I can run shadow of mordor at ultra at720p and get 45-60 fps without the HD textures DLC... So my rig can handle some graphics... But... Hmmm... So confusing... Something to note... I have had times when after running LOOT, and BASHing the game CTD at the drop of a hat, then I re-LOOT and BASH, and have not changed a single mod around or touched anything and then it'll run fine for several days, CTD after maybe four hours... But then after a couple of days it'll start CTD again for no reason I can figure... I have a feeling my copy of Skyrim may be sentient? And it doesn't like me... The thing is aswell is that the prior to the incorporation of Sheson's patch into SKSE my log would go to what was expected... above 256 and run flawlessly... Nut now I've tried everything to recreate that with no joy... Oh shwell... I guess I'll continue to muck around with it... Thanks again lads... -

Oh almost forgot... I never touch the papyrus... It is way too delicate a system to play with... I did have it modded a while back... But, after so many random crashes a defaulted it... -

Roge... Lotsa info there... and I have cleaned all the mods that needed it with TES5EDIT, I BASH every time I LOOT the list, which I do probably more then I should... I was issued OCD by the Army... So yeah, cleaning and maintaining are something I do a lot of... My only confusion on the whole thing that stops me from thinking it's a mod issue is that the memory log, isnt moving past the 250mb odd sizes... the first hits 280's on average the second hits 250's and then a CTD... I've watched the log in realtime as it builds and I can see it coming... Furthermore, textures start turning to grimis and then shwap... CTD... I was more hoping this wasn't a unique experience and the SKSE build of the memory patch was not working for more then just my system... I'm gonna go through the above txt with a fine tooth and hopefully bump into some new info... Nevertheless... Thank you all for the information and your time... I love this community... -

So update... Still no joy, wrote a lovely lad named Ian at the SKSE team... He seems stumped too... Everything says it should work, but it still doesn't... I bumped up the allocation to 1024 (actually 768) and 512... It logged as the above in the memory log, but game CTD at 186 and 199... Soooo confused... Alright... I am stumped... I have the latest version of SKSE... I run Skyrim from Mod Organizer which is also the latest version, I have my entire Skyrim folder's 'read only' unchecked, I have admin privileges, I opted to install SKSE directly into my Skyrim root DIR and bypass MO, just in case... I have scoured the net to make sure my SKSE.ini is sorted and have made sure the SKSE Memorypatch.dll and .ini are all accurate... I have tried to use SSME and uninstalled the SKSE memory patch files, I have also tried this with the memory patches still present too, I have also tried just a straight SKSE run from a clean install... I actually uninstalled Skyrim and spent three days installing all my mods via MO and getting rid of any that I didn't need... So now I just have the essentials and a shlit load of armour ones... I'm confused as before SKSE added the memory patch I had everything working... Since then I just can't get it to go... My memory log says my first bank is 512 and second is 256, defaults... But at the bottom lines of the log reads usually 260's and then you can see it moved over to bank two and crashes as only 216's, or there abouts... Always with the CTD... I've also tried the different levels of memory too... No change... I also checked the 'skse_steam_loader.log' and it says everything is working when I had farted around with older versions of Shesons patches... I am so dumbfounded with this, I feel there is a very simple solution lurking in the dark, but I would really appreciated any help, or a link to some help where someone had the same problem... I already checked but couldn't find anyone that had tried all of them and had no joy... Just seems really odd to me...

Right, First off, sorry to the moderators for my last post and the silly title... I couldn't figure out how to edit it after posting... Second, I would greatly appreciate some help on this tweak... Premiss is: Silver weapons (any weapon made from silver ingots), will do 500% damage to, werewolves, vampires and ghosts. Any conventional weapons (Iron, Steel, Elven, etc), will do 500% less damage... or, I would rather have the immortal races immune to these weapons, but either or. I so far have found the "Silver" Perk that was a vanilla one. I copied it and edited it to my liking... Then used it as a base to create another new one that edited the immunities. I then added these to the 'WerewolfAbilities' and 'crAbVampire' abilities lists... I think they are the very base abilities added to all? I hope... After all this I have absolutely no change to the werewolves or vampires... I attack them with a Steel Sword and a Silver one, and get the exact same damage result... Rather frustrating... Either if someone knows how to get the above to work, or something I missed? Or If anyone knows scripts? I could add these somehow to the vampire, werewolf and ghost races... Could be something about...
