How's it going here now? Things getting worse or better? We still hate the new UI btw.

Honestly I am kinda impressed with how many comments bro has made, 13k? Damn dude, think I was only on 3k before it got removed from the main mod site. Point being, when the OG guys that have been around long before some of the staff members making changes, are VERY against the changes, then maybe you've made some mistakes. Please staff, we love you guys but do remember that mod authors and users keep your site running. If it is unpleasant to use we can and will go to other places where it's easier and better. I don't want that, I don't think any of us want that, we love it here. I mean heck I know dozens of people that left when you made the switch to Vortex (But I'm just a salty NMM user), which is super beginner monkey level easy to use. But a bit of a pain if you know what you are doing, tripping over "Oops doopsy, did you mean to overwrite that file?" pop ups left and right. (Again, salty grizzled modder. I have magic NMM whispering skills, never had any issues)

Literally this. To be clear, I'm seeing the bulk of us are against the new UI layout and look. We don't want it fixed or a better version, we just want it how it was. You could literally have an optional setting switch that lets you revert back to have it was before this update, call it a "Classic" UI option and the "Modern" UI option. Hell you could even come up with a load of other UI options and let people customise it.

This new search bar feature is horrible and the old one is far superior. This new one: Blocks your view of the page you are on. Forces you to the main mods page if you click "Show more", booting you out of the page you were on. Looks very bubbly and off-putting. (Modern "Bubble" UIs in general suck) The old one: Lets you look through every single mod under a word. Leaves you able to see the page you are on still (Great for seeing what you are trying to spell). Is very sleek and sexy. Please stop reinverting the wheel, the UI was fine and worked perfectly.

Kenshi Adding hairstyles to custom race (mini tutorial)
deadpool0600 replied to i11iya's topic in Articles and Guides
I am still having this issue now, even on vanilla with my own vanilla custom races, I can't even get the base game hairs to work. They can show up on random NPCs, like they can have ANY hair, but when I go to change the hairs, there are only those 6 or less.- 3 replies

Kenshi Adding hairstyles to custom race (mini tutorial)
deadpool0600 replied to i11iya's topic in Articles and Guides
This is a little old, but I am running into issues with this. I am no stranger to FCS, I used it every day and have made my own... Well, entire game in Kenshi before. But for some reason, as of late, all my custom races have only had the base 4 hair styles, even though I have EVERY hair style added to the race in FCS, plus custom hairs and patches. Nothing is overwriting it, it is at the bottom of the load order, but even though it is a race I made yesterday and is all vanilla assets bar my own custom textures, only the base 4 hairs are showing up.- 3 replies

For real, more beard options, we got people making hair already, why we still only got 2 beard options, one moustache and 20 kinds of stubble.

I know this is old. But what if you wanted to make one of the factions wear mods armors? Like I wanna add imperial guard armor to the level list of the BOS or Minutemen maybe, how would you go about doing that? Same with the Space Marine power armor.

NMM your fallout4custom.ini is not configured corrently
deadpool0600 replied to Angardia's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I love how none of the responses are for what was being asked. I am having the same issue though, been modding for years, FO4 for a long ass time too. I have deleted and reinstalled the game maybe 20+ time over the last few years and am well versed in what I'm doing. My INI's are right, but the last two installs I've done for the game and re-initiating NMM with it have had this message popping up. Again the INI's are correct and as they should be. I've done this enough to know. But the message keeps showing up even though it's all 110% functional in game. -
Roberts male body black patchs
deadpool0600 replied to Dawson61's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I don't think it's just a vortex issue, I've tried every conceivable way of installing the mod and I cannot get it to work. NMM won't do it anymore, I think you have to install it through FOMM, but installing it manually turns up the same dead end results so I don't see what using another mod manager could do. -
Castle settlement no collision on floor
deadpool0600 replied to BlackTestament7's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
It's not just a mod issue. It's vanilla game. -
I'm just amazed no one has made Jaune's armor yet. There is a similar armor in the DA2 Vael armor you can get for Skyrim but it doesn't feel the same. Edit: Mainly Jaunes season 4 armor, not that I don't love his first armor, but his second fits so much better into Skyrim. And his Pumpkin Pete hoodie, that also needs to be a thing.

All I found was these two. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/93504 http://winkingskeever.com/sebastian-armor-mod/ Edit: Wait, no, there is another. But it is on LL so NSFW 18+ the mod itself isn't though. https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3879-modern-clothes-unpsos/

Ah, thank you, very much appreciated! Also guy's, I think what the OP is trying to convey is that skyrim is outrageously bias towards male centric mods, the few great (And well made) exceptions do not outweigh the thousands of female centric mods. To boot, the male mods we do have, tend to be mainly vanilla. As in, for a female follower mod, you normally need to have cbbe and 5 different face texture mods and race menu and such. With a lot (Not all) of the male follower mods, you just need the base game. I'm bi and and when it come's to guys, I like cute clean smol twink's, there is even less of them in mod form. Thankfully the post I quoted had a few good ones that are more my taste (So again, thank you) If you search on Nexus under "Followers and companions" you get 5 male followers and a bear in the first 5 pages, the rest are female, just sayin' Also to the OP and anyone else, try stretching past Nexus (It is great but doesn't hold all you have ever wanted), Loverslab (NSFW so only 18+) is good, I find people there are much more chill and helpful, I said it is NSFW but they also do vanilla mods, vanilla as in not sexual, not as in base game. Edit: Here are a few good ones I found and liked, more my type though so not everyone's cut of tea. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61225/ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57587/ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61354 Also I just found this, if you like an NPC it's possible to have them as a follower. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74568

This is the cutest greenie question I've ever seen. Don't worry everything will be fine bud, mod authors are normally awesome at keeping thing's up to date. I know LooksMenu and Player Voice Frequency tend to break when the SE is updated, as well as a few others. And those mods have some pretty great authors for updating there stuff, so be patient and the'll have it done as soon as they can.

I wanna put NASA badges and such on the astronauts suit form Nuka World and then put an EVA backpack on it. As simple as that, I will learn as I go, same as everything else. I've got Creation Kit, Bodyslide and Outfit studio, Nifskope and Blender. I know there will be copywrite issues with NASA stuff so lets just say it is for personal use right now and If I wanted to upload it it'd just put my own made up space company on it. Honestly I'm amazed no one has done this already. Seem's like such a simple thing and it will be very lore friendly... Well Maybe not the NASA part but yeah. Make the space suit more of a space suit and not just a recolored white hazmat suit. Thanks in advance, ya'll are awesome.

If I knew id be able to google it. Bodyslide issues.
deadpool0600 replied to deadpool0600's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Those ones are helpful thank you, I was looking at this one too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-H4UXcJlCJI. But I'm still running into the same problem. Which is, when I go to actually drag and drop the outfit into the studio or load it in or load the outfit first and then import the CBBEbody.nif, any way you can do it, I end up with the body and outfit in different locations. The tutorials are awesome for getting me to this point, but it is there that what I've been following to a T doesn't work anymore. That is what I need help with, I can't find anything detailing when the body and outfit appear separately in the studio. EDIT: I tell a lie, I found something https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutMods/comments/50x2hp/fo4issues_with_outfit_studio/ This has put it in the right place but sliders still aren't working on it. I'll run through the tutorials some more and see what I can find. -

deadpool0600 replied to deadpool0600's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
EDIT: Deleted this because it was long winded and not very to the point. I still can't seem to find when to delete comments. You can delete your comments right? -
Title is wrong it's an outfit studio issue, sorry. I'm trying to add the body to convert a no bodyslide file. I'm watching 3 tutorials all covering the same stuff and what I'm seeing isn't what I'm getting. As in, when they load in the reference it appears inside the clothes, but when I do it it is below them and whatever I do to the body in the sliders doesn't affect the outfit. EDIT: I talked way to much, in basic, whenever I click "Load reference" and go for the base cbbe (The first thing that comes up) it spawns the body below that outfit, when it should be spawned in the same place as the outfit. I don't know why it is doing this or how to fix it, hence why I'm asking for help. The outfit is the Hunter Set By noLOVE, great mod. Anyway, thank's in advance.

Game CTDs at startup after last update.
deadpool0600 replied to ArmoredTroll's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
This might be really silly to ask, But you are launching it through the F4SE Launcher right? Not the steam one? -
You go into the main page and right click on it, then hit uninstall. But it might have over written the other file when you downloaded it. So the best bet might be to just reinstall it all as the ultimate edition. But give it a try in game first and see.

So I have a pretty nice gaming laptop, I'm not going to go over specks but this thing runs fallout 4 great, normal lag in the city around Goodneighbor every now and then, wouldn't really call it an fram drop, more just stuttering a few times and back to it. But I've never had game stopping "Can't even turn around and leave" Lag before other than with one or two interior building mods. But never In a vanilla game location. That was until today when for the first time in a year since I got the game, I want into the Diamond City Security Office. There isn't much to tell really, the game just shat itself, tore it's legs off, and started screaming as it dragged itself into it's already occupied and shallow grave, smacking ice cream out of kid's hands as it went. I don't even know, there are no mods in there, I don't get this anywhere else, at all, ever. It took at least 30 seconds for the pause menu to show up, at that point I gave up and Ctrl-alt-del and signed out. I don't get what is causing this. Is there anything in there particularly taxing? Maybe a few thousand NPC's in a firefight? Did Bethesda add a million spinning fan lights outside the cell or something? I really don't get it. I'm running the game ultra everything, not even any ENB's at the moment. I had never been in there and I figured It's worth a look.

So I got all the stuff to start modding and I'm going to have to put the breaks on any mods I was gonna do. My god, how do you people do it...Engineering was easier than this. Anyway, I was thinking about a radio mod. Now I know they can be difficult with copywrite issues and stuff. I know it has to be in WAV, I've been using PipPod for awhile now. I was thinking about making some voice files and sticking them into it and see what that sounded like, make myself and radio... Dude... Operator, is it radio operator? Show man? f*** it, disk jockey. Anyway yeah, I know that side of things, but what I was curios about was the copywrite stuff and maybe some tips from people who've done it, I'll be able to find tutorials online. As well as if it's "Relatively easy" to make it so the radio changes throughout the game as the SS does stuff, like Diamond city radio? So far I know I can't just stick say Rage against the Machine Killing in the name of, into it and upload it to Nexus. Hence why pippod is a thing. Other than that I'm less clear. I heard something about if it is your personal cover of a song then that is okay? But I'm not sure. But yeah, I figured I'd make a radio mod because there honestly isn't that much variety on nexus, not with a voice'd dj anyway. CKG did a great job with Jetfuel radio though and so far he's the only one I've found. On another note, he's got a lot of lesser know'n song on his list, some of it I couldn't even find on youtube, so it is only copyrite on thing's that have copywrite, so say a little know band from the back end of the dead south middle of nowhere with two fans and you being one of them? Anyway, thanks in advance. And Kudo's to Junior99au for Pippod.
