  1. Thx guys, I guess something in my ini was causing that. I redid the edits Viva New Vegas said to do and wasn't able to get the freeze to come back.
  2. So I was modding my game and while i was testing ran into an 100% onset crash from walking into freeside and walking around for a few seconds and just walking around the northern vegas area (not north vegas, the houses and area around it). I couldn't find out why and ended up just starting from scratch and checking the area in a "base" game. Right now all I have installed is NVSE, JIP LN, Johnny Guitar, SUP NVSE, NVTF, NVAC, Mod Limit Fix, Onetweak, Console Paste Support, Improved Console, YUP, and the Unofficial NVSE Patch Plus. While freeside was fine I ended up walking around northern vegas past the buildings. I got a few meters away from the mountains and my game hard froze for about 10-20 secs. Before when it was modded, that signaled a crash when I was there but not now. It did recover afterwards like something loaded. Is this normal?
  3. Thx for the explanation, I didn't think the crosshairs would do that much but it makes sense. Really, I wouldn't mind if there wasn't such a glaring change. If it were the same fps all the time, it'd be annoying yet playable. The changing framerate was just so heavy that it did make it hard to play. I'm just going to play without for now. Well if I can actually get the game to work how I want.
  4. Thanks for the help. Got the main menu and the loading circle back. The loading screens I can't do much about as New California still overwrites it and must have it in a bsa or something not sure yet. The music I'm a little confused about tho, I replaced the main menu music but it just doesn't play unless it's the Frontier one, really strange.
  5. I have a question. Does anyone know of a mod that restores the vanilla intro and main menu screens? Installing Fallout New California and The Frontier both changes it and while I don't mind those to much, bunsaki's Tactical Gear Jam MAX also does it and I'd much prefer to return it to how it was prior. Though I don't know what in any of these mods actually change this. I attempted to reinstall NMC's texture mod over top of both but it seems that doesn't work and both mods ignore it. I specifically would like to return the Intro Slides and Main Menu along with the music and Loading Circle in the loading screens back to vanilla or to the NMCs texture mod setting. Does anyone know how to do so or a mod that already does it.
  6. In case anyone wanted to know, my issue seems to come from Just Assorted Mods. Specifically the Dynamic Crosshairs. No idea why yet. Started using Solid Project's FPS crosshair until I can find a way to make it work as I much prefer the dynamic crosshair.
  7. While I was testing during going through installing mods I ran into a weird issue. I'm not too sure why but when I unholster any gun of any kind my framerate drops by like 20. When the gun is holstered or I'm aiming/ironsights/scope framerate is fine. But whether i'm in first or third person if I have my gun up my framerate drops. I've been going mod by mod unchecking plugins and in some cases uninstalling but I'm not seeing a change. I'd prefer not to start from scratch again so I'm asking here before I end up doing that again.   8. The Viva New Vegas site is one of the guides I've been looking at. The only thing it doesn't cover is replacing the weapons and armors that are being removed which is what sparked all of the questions for me. Though I'm willing to sacrifice some stability for fun i guess. I'm trying to keep it limited tho. Yea, I meant FNC my bad. I was trying to choose between TTW and FNC.
  9. So, with the frontier's release I planned on remodding my new vegas and playing through it again. I also planned on possibly using TTW or FNC for the first time as well. Before I started modding my game I looked through a few guides and all the incompatibility lists for the main mods I planned on using. I noticed that Project Nevada and Solid Project is on like every bad list (except TTW but I'm sure with 3.3+ it is and I just didn't see it yet). Project Nevada in particular went from a balance issue with the Frontier to a Broken status that breaks multiple segments of the mod. My last playthrough I centered my playthrough around the FOOK-PN Convergence mod which is also heavily outdated and I've just accepted that I'm not using it anymore unless it along with FOOK and PN gets updated. This isn't terrible as a few guides gave current alternatives like Cyberware 2281, JAM, e.t.c. This however doesn't apply to the Equipment module and added items from FOOK. I was wondering if anyone had any alternatives to some of the things I'm removing or answer some questions I've been having. - Project Nevada Equipment Module / FOOK Convergence items: I was thinking about using the Classic Fallout Weapons and Fallout 3 Weapons Restoration together. Though I'm still missing a fair amount of weapons and armor has anyone taken the equipment from these mods and put them in their own mod? - I don't really care too much about balance and increasing the level cap/perk every level is a thing I regularly do, is there another mod to enable that other than Project Nevada? I'm not sure if JAM or Stevie's Tweaks do that or not. - I notice that EXE is a conflict with the frontier, specific to whatever the stadium is, and EVE is outdated. The Frontier does say it comes with EXE, does that also mean it comes with some version of EVE as well? - This Weapon Mesh Improvement Mod keeps appearing in every major mod I'm attempting to use. In the TTW incompatibility list I saw it has issues with EVE, WMX, and WME specifically. Yet on the Anniversary Animation Pack there's compatibility patches. I'm just confused as to what does and does not work with all of these mods, WMIM, EVE, EXE, WMX, WME, and WRP. - The Frontier doesn't have any overhaul mods that conflict so it says but I was wondering if the Dragbody overhauls did or did not work with it. I'm assuming the Frontier has different leveled lists and factions but I figured I'd ask. I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of right now. Help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
  10. So correction to this, I can't install any new mods without this happening, big small or otherwise. I don't know why at all. I may as well ask the other question that led to this anyway. This is the second time I've attempted to reinstall my mods for Fallout 4 this time around. I came back to it after a long time but this time around I've run into this particular problem now both times. So I'll get pretty far into my modding and all of a sudden something happens where I can't install any new mods and some kind of crash happens. Last time, every time I attempted to install anything the game would CTD on start. This time the game starts but crashes when, I'm completely guessing here, certain parts of my game load. The question I'm running into now is something I've never ran into while modding any bethesda title until now. Is there some kind of mod limit outside of the plugin count. I'm convinced there has to be because I started from scratch both times and both times this has happened. I don't know what to do and I'm pretty much at my wits end.
  11. So I've gotten pretty far into a reinstall of my Fallout 4 and I'm attempting to install a few settlement mods into my game. Well for some reason every time I do every time the Creation Club and Mods options in my main menu come up the game crashes. 100% of the time. I'm at a loss as to why this happens or what the cause is because up to this point nothing that crashed my game quite like this. Whether it's homemaker, SOE, CWSS, RHD, Workshop Rearranged, anything my game will crash maybe a second after the creation club/mod option shows up. I'm using dummy files for all the CC content I don't have so Creation club delay and the VIS-G patches worked. Along with merging alot of my mods together. It has worked fine right up until this point and I don't know how to fix this because I have no clue as to what is causing it. These are the only mods I have making this happen.5

I've been having a weird issue for a long period of time that I've ignored for the most part but it's starting to annoy me and I figured I'd ask about it here to see if anyone else has run into it. When I'm in an interior that has mole rat or bloodworm enemies my game will completely crap itself and I lose the ability to save in any fashion and I can't leave the area or I'll get an infinite loading screen. Pretty much a crash without going to the desktop. From what I've gathered it's a bug to "Scrap Everything" or "Place Everywhere" or maybe even the UFO4 Patch but I've played without those mods in a playthrough and it still happened so I'm not too sure. The only "fix" I've found was to turn tdetect off in the console then kill them off, or use killall or kah to deal with them. It wouldn't annoy me if it were only them but sometimes modders put mole rats or bloodworms in the middle of areas of enemies and once that happens it's an immediate issue and I'll have to play to that point and then console them out. At this point, I'm even looking for a fix that could remove both enemies from the game altogether. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

While I'm trying to learn how to use outfit studio and conversions between CBBE and Atomic Beauty I figured I'd ask if there were any people who've already done certain ones I haven't been able to find. Has anyone already done Atomic Beauty conversions for Jmenaru's Vneck Tshirt and Baggy Tank Top, Ousnius's Sporty and Lacy Underwear, and NiTeNull's Shade Girl Leather Outfits?
  14. So I'm considering reinstalling my fallout 4 because I have to update so much after not playing this game for a while after playing through new vegas a few times. I just finished new vegas and was gonna wait until both New Cali and the Frontier both released fully and go back to playing that. That being said because I've gone so long playing FO4 I need to update a lot of mods, remerge and whatnot which I don't have an issue with but I was considering just reinstalling all the mods from scratch over again and trying out Vortex after seeing a notification about the beta release. I just really had 2 or so questions before I started with this: - I only want to use this for Fallout 4 and maybe Skyrim in the future, I don't want this to affect my Fallout 3 or NV installs as they work and I don't use LOOT for those. is it possible to keep those in NMM and have Vortex leave them alone? - I use a Leveled List Reset esp to keep certain modded in weapons/armor that I don't want in the Leveled List out. It pretty much means I need at least some level of ability to move mods above it and keep it near the top where it only affects what I put above it. Is there a way to do that or is there no way around the LOOT management?
  15. Soooo, for some unknown reason at random points in the ultra-luxe there are feral ghouls that spawn. I don't know what triggers it but I also don't know if this is a mod or some glitch that just happens in the game. It's not exactly gamebreaking for me or anything but I figured I'd ask. It happens not regularly but enough that I'm confused. A few times if I use wait (I usually do this in the beyond the beef mission waiting for the contact) they spawn but this time I'm specifically asking because I just walked in and 4 ferals just spawned for no reason. I didn't have to do anything because the gunderson bodyguard and the white gloves are so s#*! to get owned by 3-4 ferals but still. s#*!'s weird. Would MoMod and it's hunter esp or something affiliated with that do this because I do have that installed connected to Angel Park, AWOP, & NVInteriors? And I did notice it's always one of those weaker types not a "normal" feral.
