It's nice to help others out. I just keep running into problems though, and its starting to deter me, but I'm not giving up on it, not after all of this. Now her body looks weird, and for some reason she now has a horse face....maybe I'll start over it should only take me a half hour at most to do it all again edit: actually, im leaning towards dropping this whole project. for all the work I've done , for what should be such a simple task , its starting to seem not worth it to me. I might just upload the head mesh, list the mods i used, and maybe someone else could take over. I'm gaining no benefit from this, and this is probably the only time I'd ever use the CK, because she's done, i dont plan to make any other mods. idk. we'll see. I've spent almost all day over the past few days trying to make this work. I think that's a little ridiculous.

You're right. removed. Lol patience is a virtue I used to be intimate with, but it's been worn thin and I really just want to finish this, but quality takes time. I'm going to post some thing over in Mod Requests to see if someone is willing to help me build a quest around her. I'd still like to do everything i intended, but like I said, a lot is beyond my skillset and I'll be content with what I can get. To be honest I didn't think anyone would voice her. That alone motivated me tenfold. I'm just glad i have so much free time right now to do all of this

Tried it, still same thing. It was always set to true btw. But it doesnt matter my current install is probably really dirty anyway, from the massive changes I've been making. I finally have a set up i enjoy so a clean install should fix it all and then ill stop modding it for a while. I say that now but a week from today I'll probably be messing with again haha

Yeah I'm running vanilla skyrim right now. I can start a new game but it hangs on the load screen until I disable the effects, then reenable them after it loads. it's set to "true" Enb Local: edit: you know what actually forget it. i don't care at this point. it works without enb and thats all i need right now. im going to wipe my SDD and reinstall after Selina is finished.

I'll give that a shot, and would you happen to know what could have possibly changed that makes my enb crash skyrim? tetrachromatic, worked fine up until I started using CK edit: I think skyrimprefs.ini was causing the issue. I noticed the uid values were different. not sure if that has anything to do with it, but this is exactly why i keep my .ini files read-only. I guess i forgot to set it back to read-only. Ran into this problem so many times its ridiculous lol . it still hangs on load sometimes and i have to disable the effects for it to move past the load screen, then re-enable them

If I can't figure this out I might just send the head mesh to somebody to take over and make her for me. I can't even save the .esp file. It won't save , or it will but won't be anywhere. I'm assuming it gets deleted right after saving. If anyone wants to help make her into a basic follower , that'd be appreciated.... then I can add in the scripts and voice and all the other good stuff . edit: okay so i found out where the stupid thing saved .... even though i choose the facegeom folder to find it easily , it ended up in my data folder -_- You know, i wonder about the thought process behind the things these developers do, if any thought was there at all . I'll edit this comment to keep it updated . edit: So I'm making progress . IF YOU'RE WONDERING HOW I FIXED IT READ FURTHER ! Not sure what did it but I closed out the creation kit and lost all my work so I started over .... but before opening again I also closed steam, set my folders permissions for Authenticated Users and the rest of the things to "Full Control" , and I saved the .esp file before working on it. This allowed me to not only save the file successfully, but also export the facegen data successfully. Still working on her.... edit: cool so I guess i broke my game somehow. There's the money sign "$" in front of almost everything text-related, mostly menus/titles, and I get a ctd trying to go to ivarstead. Honestly at this point I've broken skyrim so many times I might've hit the 100 mark by now. I can reinstall everything again....though I'd really rather not. I'll see what's up with this s*** edit: Okay so I've had enough of this . I'm calling it a night and I'll continue tomorrow . Triptherift - Yeah that's where I'm stuck , it's not in that location , and yes i can merge them but i need to find out where these damn exports are being saved . There's no option to set a default folder ? Because right now , yes , she is a horse lol , with a blue body (that I'm hoping is only a CK issue) and by blue I mean one color all around blue no detail at all . woodsman30 - haha no you're not weird that's actually what I'm trying to aim for. I think I'm going to stop putting spaces between punctuations too (theres a reason , long story). It's annoying me now. Anyway, the vote is to say how old you think she looks , not how old you think she should be . So you're on the same page as me, but like I said earlier trying to make her look older either results in a more manly look, or outright hideous and disproportionate. So I think I'll upload her as a teen follower, non-nude, but obviously we'll have those special snow flakes who switch the body out manually anyway lol. So thankfully everything seems to have stayed where it was upon waking my computer up, and hopefully I can finish this and get a script to my voice actor, script some AI, and upload her for everyone to enjoy. The only teaser I'm giving is this .... my voice actor is from Denmark , has an accent, and fits the character pretty well. I foresee some good things coming from this. Also for a last name I was thinking Selvtillit . It means "confidence" in Norwegian . And this is so effing weird ... searching my computer returns a shortcut to Selina's ESP (the exported facegen data) but it can't locate the actual file itself ....

I never expected to run into so many issues .... it's on hold for now , because I cannot find where the exported facegen data is from creation kit . I checked the location it's supposed to be in , and other places , and have no idea where it is . Also the body didn't take on the preset from bodyslide , so I need to figure that out too , as well as making all the skin colors and tints match . Massive headache . I have a martial arts class to go to so hopefully I can finish her by tonight , and start working on the AI/Voice Acting tomorrow . Other tiny issues but those I can easily figure out . It'd be nice if developers took the time to make sure everything works properly :P everything on my end was done how it's supposed to be

Well I think she looks around 15-16 , and the votes are kinda around there (I also posted this the more apporiate mod section) so if anything I'd upload as a teenage follower . The artist in me wants to perfect how I envision her , but for some reason I just can't seem to nail it . I'll be uploading the head mesh also , in case anyone else wants to take a shot at it , or use the head to make their own character . After a while I started to see what you mean , and mentioning the "anime-style" seems to have made something click in my brain . I think you hit the nail on the head , and I'm going to take a more realistic approach and see what the result is . It's funny how differently one view things when it's their own , vs viewing something owned by another . Thanks for the reply , for now I see what you mean . You're kidding , right ? Haha maybe I should quell the fear that i might make her look like she's 40 , and brave into editing her . The problem is any character I make looks either really young or really old . Did you look at her other pictures ? I have her old look uploaded also in the images section . I was trying to make her look less manly from certain angle's and I guess I just ended up making her look younger .

Welling condemnation of her parent's killers, fueled by heartbreak and rage, caused her to lose control of herself and released the darkness she held in for so long. The atmosphere became dark, stale, and cold, like the life had been slowly stripped from the air, an aura of shadows encompassed her, and then burst forth like Herma Mora's tendrils assimilated with the newfound chaotic emotions and struck the agent's down, allowing their bodies to fade to black, consumed by shadow. After exacting her revenge she was drained and weak. Letting out years of bottled up emotions can do that anybody. With the fresh sight of her parent's being murdered, she was lost in her thoughts not seeing the death and destruction around her, until a fellow member grabbed her up by the arm to take her to safety. Once again happy and content with all that life has to offer, the decision to adventure was made. She's young, and has so much youth left in her, what better way to spend it than to travel to new lands? Her next destination? Skyrim of course! And this brings us to where we are today. Remember how she's a star gazer? Of course you do! So naturally, you'd want the best view possible, and what's the best view in Skyrim? The up-skirt of Selina? Maybe but NO! The Throat of the World you silly pervert! So that is where she headed. But why walk 7,000 steps sober? Selina obviously stopped for some food and drink, and much needed rest, before climbing the 7,000 steps. You can find her relaxing at the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead. Thank you ! The more interest I can generate , the more motivation that flourishes in me . I want her to exhibit some signs of intelligence in her dialogue :P I will be working on her story and dialogue today , and that will be what I edit into my first post . To anyone else who see's this comment , just know that I will be busy doing that , so my responses won't be as fast . I won't be checking here too often until I get this out of the way .

The atmosphere became dark, stale, and cold, like the life had been slowly stripped from the air, an aura of shadows encompassed her, and then burst forth like Herma Mora's tendrils assimilated with the newfound chaotic emotions and struck the agent's down, allowing their bodies to fade to black, consumed by shadow. After exacting her revenge she was drained and weak. Letting out years of bottled up emotions can do that anybody. With the fresh sight of her parent's being murdered, she was lost in her thoughts not seeing the death and destruction around her, until a fellow member grabbed her up by the arm to take her to safety. The clan was all but diminished at this point. the two of them tried to help other members, but to no avail. The clansman who pulled her away was killed, and she just barely escaped the agent trailing behind her. Out of the cave, out of the valley, she sat by a lake to mourn her losses. She almost gave up, even wanting to commit suicide, but a pure-white snow fox happened across her path, whom reminded her of the purity within herself. It took an immediate interest in her, as she did it. Yup, you guessed it, she befriended the fox and it became her companion. That motivated her to live on, and that's exactly what she did, and she did it well. She was homeless, and would become nomadic. Remaining homeless and nomadic only for a month, Selina decided it was time to begin moving forward again. She made her way to Cyrodiil and settled there until she was about 20 years old. During that time she continued train, in secret, and essentially live the life of a normal citizen, growing in happiness as the years dimmed the pain. Her admirable ability to find the beauty in the most simplistic of things is what kept her sane. To stop, take a breath, and become tranquil. Star gazing is her most cherished indulgence of all. Once again happy and content with all that life has to offer, the decision to adventure was made. She's young, and has so much youth left in her, what better way to spend it than to travel to new lands? Her next destination? Skyrim of course! And this brings us to where we are today. Remember how she's a star gazer? Of course you do! So naturally, you'd want the best view possible, and what's the best view in Skyrim? The up-skirt of Selina? Maybe but NO! The Throat of the World you silly pervert! So that is where she headed. But why walk 7,000 steps sober? Selina obviously stopped for some food and drink, and much needed rest, before climbing the 7,000 steps. You can find her relaxing at the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead.
