Because it is the idea of a nice utopia which is impossible in real life. And people use that utopia's name to grab power and become authoritarian dictators.

People are inherently bad due to beings animals after all and having the evil emotions called greed, lust, desire, anger, ego, pride, attachment to persons or objects, violent and perverted tendencies, love of meat, eggs and honey, apathy and the love of materiel possessions (money and property). Once one crushes them all (I am still not able to crush all) then one lives his/her life solely to serve the civilization instead of the love of life.
