Yes well lots of mods are 'lore unfriendly' and still get lots of downloads, and I don't see how your character looking like a flirt adds to the action or roleplaying experience.
Re-read what i wrote. there are a lot of lore unfreidly mods yes, but they are either action enhancing, roleplaying enanching or aestheically enhancing.
Modern day clothes just aren't as aestheically pleasing as a cool "robotic suit" or even for some, a nude woman.
EDIT: I noticed I didn't add aesthetics into my original post; I have now.

Is there a mod which adds normal clothing items like jumpers, T shirts, hoodies etc to the game? And this means plain colour stuff like a red T shirt, a blue hoodie, that sort of stuff. Anyway, are there mods that do this because I have searched to no avail and wonder whether one exists (if not, can someone make one, please)?
Not many people would, as it is lore unfriendly and doesn't add to the action, aesthetic, or roleplaying experiences.

I don't think you can. But, that's the point of the raider option, you're added to the raider faction. Their friends are your friends. Their enemies are your enemies.

After retrieving the geck from vault 87, I get to the cutscene where the enclave ambush. Just as Autum finishes talking and the screen fades to black, the game CTDs.
It may be due to the fact that I have a texture replacer for Autumn's coat, but I have a variant of that same coat on another character.

Can anyone help me out with my load order.
All I want to work is, MMM, Arsenal mod, DC interiors, Streetlights, calibr and alternate start. Every combo seems to mess up and crash on start, although it did get in game a couple of times. Only to crash after a few mins.
I have fallout 1.7 and the latest versions of all the above mods. I've just reinstalled FO3 after 2 years :D Never did complete it, so thought id mod it up a bit!

According to FOIP, the last ESM file in your load order should be MMM (And after that, follower and weather ESMs) So I'd try moving that streetlight mod up.)
And, you should probably also load that Master menu module as well. I don't know if it's neccessary though.
Have you considered making a merged patch? If not, send me a PM, and i'll tell you how to make one.

Hello all,
I'd like to have the cyber arm mod http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14676, but have the cyber arm on a female version of the leather armour. (I have too many male characters, so I wanted a change). So, I tried to delete the right arm of the vannila leather armour in nifskope, so I can replace it with the cyber arm, but it deletes parts of both arms.
Is there any tool in Nifskope that would allow me to delete parts from the right arm, but not the left? Or do I need another program altogether?

i started to use the geck and make some mods for fallout 3. i have like 100 mods installed and i would like to see their changes in the geck but i dont want to click on every single plugin everytime i open the geck. so my questions are ..
can i save all plugins to a single one (not only the changes) or do i have to create a master file? if i have to create an .esm file, how can i do that? do i have to take care of the load order in the geck?
i hope someone can help me, it would save a lot of time and nerves.
You simply need to create one esp file, ticking only the mods which are necessary for the creation of your modification. For example, if you needed to add something from broken steel, you'd have to select that.
As for esming, you don't need to for this. If you really want to, FOMM has an ESMifier in it's tools.

I’ve had a frustrating problem with the flamer recently. I was in Hank's electrical supply at Jury street metro, and inside was a raider with a flamer. When I killed the others, it was fine, but when I killed the one with the flames- bang, insta-ctd. What’s the matter? Here’s my load order.

Here's a poem i wrote a while ago, and I wondered what the Druid's GArden thought of it.

Forever shackled by these chains,
I wallow in their lies.
They tie me to my fears and hate,
And all that I despise.
I see my friends across the road,
But my shackles hold me back.
“They have looks and wit,” they say.
Everything you lack.
The birds and clouds glide in joy,

But my chains tie me to the ground.
Shackled tears I cry.
Another mountain lies before me,
A new challenge I must try.

I originally wrote it for a friend who had low self confidence. The poem, is to of course raise your self confidence. I got the idea of a leaf on the wind from the mantra of the Japanese kamikaze pilots. I wanted to catch that fearlessness of life that they had as they chanted their mantra, knowing they were going to die.
Anyway, what did you think?
