  1. Hm, do you play Minecraft by chance? Haha. That seriously would be fun though, at least for me, I dunno if the novelty would eventually wear off for other people.
  2. I always love a game that has those little mundane role-playing tidbits. One of the reasons I was so drawn to the Fable series before it went off the deep end with 3. And yes, I would really hope they put in a "hardcore" mode, instant pick for me. And if not? Hey, that's what the Nexus is for right?
  3. And I'm quite sure that this game will ruin my life. I don't feel bad about it. Thoughts? Anyone else looking forward to saying goodbye to their friends and loved ones? And in all seriousness, who else is excited about the extracurricular activities like cooking and smithing?
  4. Wow, thanks for that cohesive and quick response. I'll definitely be using your mod then because I need that full story man. I probably would've held off if I wasn't so sure part two was right down the line and if it was Leliana's romance, but this is Morrigan man. Gotta have it all haha. But, later; right now I'm on a Sims bender, should wear off in a week or so. Sometimes I wish Bioware had all the time they wanted on this game, because I know there is so much missed potential in this. Hopefully they aren't as pressured in making part two. Again, thank you for your response, and your wonderful restoration patch.
  5. I keep eyeballin' this mod, unsure of whether to add it. I love the Morrigan romance, and I want the full effect. But part of me wonders if this interferes with anything. Like, maybe the scenes and dialogue were removed because that's the way it was intended. And another part of me wonders if an official patch would ever be released that fixes these problems, and then would interfere with this mod. Not to mention, all the glitches in the dialogue seem to have created some kind of strange super - ending for me so far. Would this affect it I wonder? For example, I'm with Leliana (much to my chagrin, but it's kinda movie-esque in a way I guess), but the epilogue says the whole ring sequence, even though I equipped the ring on Morrigan. And even though I had the conversation that reverts Morrigan to Friendly (dangit), I still managed to trigger that scene. Which is cool but kinda confusing. And considering that, how much does it affect my Awakening ending scene?(I still haven't beaten it) And just out of curiosity, has any one else encountered this strange occurrence?
  6. Well, if you want "similar" looking clothing, there's always the clothes in this mod. Namely, the male light armor. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=861
  7. Okay to be fair Raistlin. All this dude is asking for is a rather chaste looking character from a videogame. Seriously, where did you get naked chicks and Leliana/Morrigan morphs from "I like this character."? There's nothing even remotely sexy about her (well maybe the fact that she's showing a bit of leg but even that is like "whatever"). Dan, you really do raise some interesting points. Considering that most anime characters have the same facial features, it would be rather hard to recreate, especially considering the rather unrealistic proportions. The most you can do Thiamael is request the outfit pieces and the hair, and not the character herself. The hair is definitely doable though.
  8. While I don't really agree with the way en4cer said it (as humorous and true as it was), he does raise a good point. Dragon Age is relatively new, you really can't expect people to release a mod specifically set for some character from a videogame released in the mid 90's. And while yes, the wings are quite disturbing to me personally, especially for a hard-boiled game like Dragon Age, I would not be surprised if someone released a mod for a character with wings. So give it some time, and you will have your wings, allowing you to create this Nina character. Heck, maybe someone could even rip the wings from the Fallout Nexus.
  9. Ah, that's too bad. Well, gonna have to just bite the bullet till then ain't ya?
  10. I do believe this is the mod you are looking for. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=836
  11. O. M. G. I was so gonna request this sword being made. But I find this version's textures to be a bit lacking and the hand placement on the sword could use some work.
  12. Well, Elves (especially the Dragon Age ones), are quite flimsy-looking, so it makes sense that they would mainly be Rogues. But yeah, it'd be cool to get some more Elven themed armors. And perhaps some re-skins of those cool curved swordymajiggies so that the Elves can get some more unique weapons.
  13. To be honest, as long as you have a proper tank and a good supply of potions, the Deep Roads aren't that hard without a healer (though I always have Morrigan serve as a secondary healer with Group Heal just in case). Oghren doesn't drag the team down too much either, he's quite good. But if you must have a Healer, here's the mod. Though, I'm pretty sure you've found it by now. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=301
  14. I know this is late but, I do believe this is mod you're looking for. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=809
  15. Seinfeld reference ftw. Never really saw the appeal of Sten. While I guess the whole manly stoic thing is attractive to women, Sten comes off more as a jerk personality-wise. But yes, "Sacred Ashes" Sten is much better looking than vanilla Sten. Only thing is, The "Sacred Ashes" one looks too human. Nothing really sets him apart as being a distinct creature (well, besides shoving a group of Darkspawn off a cliff with little to no effort). Oh yes, and let's keep in mind, bedding Sten would result in the death of your Warden, so...yeah...
  16. I'm not sure if Cammen is the wisest choice. This is a guy would couldn't even hunt WOLVES. It would be very strange and unrealistic if he started holding his own next to legendary Wardens, experienced Assassins, and powerful Sorcerers. And this is more personal preference, but I'd prefer to have a female Dalish on my team instead. Though in reality, unless this character was fully voiced and scripted, I wouldn't use them at all.
  17. Alright so Imma just throw this out there, not to be mean, but just for future reference. Even if it isn't meant to be an insult, most artists do not like it when you say their drawings remind you of something (It's akin to hinting that they're a plagiarist). Btw that armor is awesome. But I dunno if I personally would use it, seeing as it looks a bit too otherworldly for my tastes.
  18. While I don't agree with your sentiments (I'm a stickler for realism for the most part), there is this armor if you're interested. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1169
  19. Hm, fair enough, Yusaris is still strong enough to use early in Awakening at least.
  20. The Swift Salve increases movement speed along with attack speed, if I'm not mistaken. And you can buy the recipe from The Wonders of Thedas.
  21. I really couldn't live without Dragon Age Redesigned (Lore Version). A large portion of the vanilla characters are so GOSH-DERN. FRIGGIN'. UGLY. Now I dunno if Bioware was going for the sickly Middle Ages look (they succeeded), but it gets to the point of ridiculous when you see characters like Cammen...ugh...Cammen. I'm not generally a guy who goes for game changing mods, I like mods that just change small things like random NPC's and such. @ Eloocin, does that wand work on Yusaris, perchance?
  22. Okay, dude, there's a feature in MS Paint that lets you resize images, please try to utilize it. That is a VERY large image. And if you want a "Ninja" outfit that doesn't really break the lore of the game too much, you could always check out the Ringmail set in Rashanta's Armory. It has that kind of ninja look, and you may be able to request a recolor from the creator. Even the Light Armor looks kind of ninja-ish. Then again, there is no male version of that outfit so I can't help you out there.
  23. I was eyeballin' that Elven Warden armor, but from what I've read it's still very much a work in progress. Not to mention it can't carry over to Awakening. And lol, all this time I had no idea what that mod did.
  24. So, Massive Armor's cool and all, but they tend to cut the drama out of a situation when all you can see is your PC's nose during a movie scene. So I was thinking: Can someone make a stylish Heavy Chainmail Set (or at least a set with the same layout) with the Grey Warden insignia on it? I think I saw someone request this, or talk about it. I really like how the Heavy Chainmail looks and would appreciate it muchly if this could be done. Ah yes, and here's the keeper: The option to utilize the armor on a Tank character. I would be content with just using the Pious Armor (probably my favorite armor in design choices), but it would be cool to have a Warden styled suit.
