  1. I see. Did not know that MSAA increased VRAM usage by so much. I actually use Supersampling, but I guess it doesn't matter that much when my resolution is still so low.
  2. I don't know if I prefer that, or just no caps. No caps just feel more natural to me, for a sandbox game. The fact that you can develop your skills indefinitely somehow feels like freedom.
  3. Sorry if this topic is misplaced, but I could not find a more suitable place. I recently noticed a lot of people commenting on retexture mods for Skyrim, requesting a lower resolution version (Even someone with a GTX 590!), but I really do not understand why. VRAM just seems like a strange thing to me. I just happen to know the basics behind it, but what I do not understand is in terms of my computer. I have maximum "fades" in the settings, run 1680x1050 resolution, antiscroptic filtering on 16x, FXAA, Ambient Occlusion, and all of my 65 retexture mods are at least 2k, while around 30% are 4k. I never go under 40 FPS, and that is with my old Nvidia GTX 260! I don't understand how that is possible. Only possible reason I can think of, is that a lot gets loaded on RAM, but I do not get any FPS dips. Can someone please enlighten me?
