hey thanks for replying. this must be what i did wrong, I followed the Capnbubs hat tutorial and when i got that part, i made the mistake of thinking he was still talking about the XComGame.ini file in the Config folder, i never looked at the Localization folder. so thanks for taking the time to set me straight :)

I've created a mod that adds some helmets and visors as soldier props and managed to get them working in the game, however i have not figured out how to display the correct names for these in the props lists, all they show are "Helmet / Hat 51" etc. could someone tell me how i make the correct names display in the customize UI?
