I do see your point, so it needs to able to adjust when it goes off balance, maybe 1/4 and 3/4 is the right mix? Keep in mind the application of other specific mods can change required elements to suit the player, significantly and this is an essential part of the overall requirement. A simple example is a powerful sneak damage mod, from the start. Using this method low level players have a good chance of beating a significantly tougher opponent. But you need to do it well or you will get caught out etc. The requirement of an NPC may be a suitable tool to get through the lower character levels etc, but you need the coin to make that happen, so go earn it etc. Either way I'm pleased you see what I'm going on about and thank you for your input, its helped me a lot in understanding the game mechanics better.

Iofgren, thank you so much for your detailed response, it helps me a lot. I don't know the answer, hence the request to the modding community. To be specific then, based on the questions you raise- 1. All levelled list inc enemies would need to be edited, this directly related to my suggestion of say 3 difficulty levels as part of the mod. i.e if a Bandit class has a vanilla level range of say 5-15 then the 3 levels could be 5, 10 and 15. This gives a fixed level world, but with the option to make it tougher, or easier across the board. With say an enchanted sword, that used to give bonus according to your level, and had a range of +5 to +15 fire damage, then again 5,10, 15 could be the points. If all of that is simply not possible then simply fix the world at the mid point or even 3/4 point for everything and give no option to change this- unless its edited by an additional mod. 2. Whilst I understand your point re a high level character walking thru, say bandits easily personally I think to a degree, a high level character should walk through bandits easily, but there is of course some 'balance' to be found in this situation. 3. This is why I would like to edit gameplay by application of other simple mods, to the descaled mod. But still keep the vanilla locations, npc's, quests etc in terms of their spawn locations, detail and general mechanics etc. (This also allows wiki research to be reality if people wish to use that tool, i.e where is and how do I get that rare ebony sword of death and destruction etc, LOL). Thanks for any further input you wish to give,

Yes and yes, unless the loot scaling and enemies not scaling combination is a tech issue etc, then fix the loot as well, i.e so all items at max power ar in game from character level 1. Theory is you worked real hard and played well to earn the loot.
-
HI There, 'but keeps everything else vanilla.' i.e your character levels up as it normally would, loot is spawned and found where it normally does and in the amounts it normally would be, unique items spawn, and if enchantment power are linked to your character levels they happen as they normally do, if quests are started at certain character levels then they continue todo so etc. I would like to then apply simple, specific mods to, for example increase the gold found, change my carry capacity, bolt in duel combat realism - I don't think these kind of mods will be effected. Of course there is much I do not understand technically, so thanks for raising this as its an area, hopefully via this thread I can begin to understand better.

re requiem, I have looked and it seems fab. Not what I'm after mind, but I will give it a play to experience it. It seems too good to ignore. What I'm after I'm pretty certain, does not exist just now, hence the request.

Im sure this has been requested before, but hey why not ask? I have used skyrim unleashed for several months, its really great. But.......... All I would like, and looking around so would many others is a mod that descales the skyrim world, but keeps everything else vanilla. (character levelling, loot, quests etc). i.e so we can then apply other mods easily to make the game exactly how we want it, maybe more gold in chests, but less carry weight, and gold has weight, scarse loot or indeed plentiful loot mod's, add duel combat in etc etc. If the mod could have 3 settings, all enemies at their lowest level, mid level and highest level in theory we can dynamically change the difficulty as we level, if required. This may go someway to help the early game difficulty, and end game easiness with a fixed descaled level bad guy world. (Im not sure what the game difficulty settings do anyhow, but this needs to be considered of course, currently I play unleashed at expert level). Clearly theres a bunch of other things to consider, Please can someone help with this!

Anyone else make their carry weight super low for realism?
ShoshinUK replied to CherryBelle's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I found a nice balance with race adjusted carry weights, and then added weight mods to lock picks, gold and arrows. My issue right now is to add more gold into my game (I use skyrim unleashed) to balance it better. (help). I play on very difficult settings and would like to make a lot of god for my efforts, without needing to loot and sell countless armour and weapons etc. -
Ok played with this mod for a couple of hours and it seems great, but the magicka, stamina and health are not increasing and you earn your perks thru what you do -i.e no level increase perks, which will slow progression down nicely and shape your character to your play style. I have frostfall, iNeed, duel combat realism running with it, with no problems thus far. I have installed Auto Health, Magicka and Stamina by AliTheLord to handle the base attributes increase, which seems good as well. Also training is limited to only one set, im looking into this, i.e you do not increase level so it locks.

On its own, I think not so well but I have several mods that will make the game how I want it. I am trying to find a mod, that just delevels/fixes the bad guys and the loot, I can then mod other areas as I wish without conflicts. Granted this does more, but I don't care about not levelling up as a character, as long as I still get the increase in base attributes somehow, But then again if the 'power' comes from skill, spells, gear etc in a way the base attributes can and should stay the same for the life of the character, but this may have serious impact on gameplay?

This looks like just what I'm after, has anybody used it or is Sion about? I want to know if your base attributes, stamina, health and magicka can increase as they normally would when using this mod? From reading the description, I think they may not. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48783/? Many thanks

I checked this mod out and rejected it as it had 'areas' and such like, however on some reflection I see it makes real sense for the long game. So thanks, I shall implement it today and play on!

Hi All, My first post, go easy on me. I have been using skyrim unleashed and mostly love it, but I want a mod that just de-levels enemies, loot availability, crafting ability etc. i.e it fixes those things in the world so they are not dynamic to my characters level in terms of possibilities to do stuff. I don't want different enemy zones, spawn rates, loot rarity changes, plans for crafting stuff etc as I will control those things by other specific mods or use the vanilla offering if it fits. Many thanks for any help with this.
