  1. ... Maybe just a mod that adds the argonian or khajiit tribunal masks onto the vampire lord? 2015 is the year this will happen, I can feel it in my bones.
  2. Have we considered making vampire argonian/khajiit faces an armor that replaces the vanilla vamp lord's clothing? Like, there's a lot of mods that put Harkon's armor on the player's vampire form. It sounds like sticking an unmoving mask on the player vampire's face would be much easier than editing the race itself and making things that have to animate with it. In theory you would just have to model it and figure out how to put it on instead of editing the entire thing. A lot of cloak mods will cut off beast race tails because they're worn in that slot, or something. Would it be feasible to jam one of the default tails on the vampire's butt and have it behave in the same way it would for a normal character? Even a motionless static tail like the face would probably satisfy. I have no idea how this works (thus why I can't ~do it myself~), but I thought the ideas would make for a less intimidating project.
  3. People have used the vampire lord model to make a normal skeleton with wings. The vampire lord model has probably been used by the Skyrim Monster Mod to make 23 different, slightly unique monsters to encounter. There is a vampire lord mod that just bends your character into the correct posture and gives it wings. The last one is horrible and it is the only option available. Dawnguard was released in 2012. it has been three. years. and there is still no race specific argonian or khajiit vampire lord mod. This is utterly inexcusable. This is the second result in a google search for either - this bump is absolutely and completely called for. There is demand. Someone must help.
  4. Someone Anyone Please make some argonian mods. Please come to Brazil
  5. I think this is a fairly needed bump; why hasn't anyone tried gluing the Blood Dragon crests, slaughterfish fins, or the hind fins from horkers onto Argonians, texturing them to match the vanilla skin tones, and making it so the webbing between the spines matches up with hair color choices? I miss my fins like crazy... It couldn't be *that* difficult, could it?
  6. That's the ticket! two people are interested! now there's a demand for it! What do you think would look best as the orc's new teeth replacer? I can see either the Khajiit's getting used, some shrunk down saber-cat fangs, or maybe some of the spikes that are used on orcish brows. Heck, maybe just flipped, inverted tusks slipped perfectly into the top jaw?
  7. I think that'd be a swell fix, if the top teeth could be recolored to match the orc's natural tusks. Might be easier in that respect to use a vampire lord's teeth, or a troll's teeth, or maybe the teeth off one of those gargoyles in dawnguard. Would anyone be up to that simple business? I'd of course do it myself - but I get lost in such simple things as the NMM, so I doubt highly that I could. I'd appreciate it, and lots of other people down the road would be spared the disappointment of finally getting inflicted with sanguinis just to find out their orc doesn't get any sick fangly teeth. If so, thanks!
  8. Hey there all you nexus types. I've been planning a really cool orcish warlord wizard for when I get dawnguard (think Vego The Carpathian from ghostbusters as an orc), but I recently discovered something quite unfortunate. Orc vampires don't get fangs. No interlocking fangs with tusks, no longer sharper teeth, no nothing. I can't even begin to express how stupid this is. I'm not requesting a mod to add fangs to vampiric orcs mouths, but I would GREATLY appreciate if someone could link me to a mod that does this. or if someone would take the time and work to do it, that would be really cool too! Thank you very much. c:
  9. Hi there, everyone. I'm planning on getting a bunch of female beautification mods here in the future, and I've run into a snag. What are the best face overhauling mods for females that won't make them look like glassy-eyed-alabaster-skinned-anime-sextoy-robot-schoolgirls, wont alter the faces of vanilla NPC women, and will even out wrinkles on the breton, nord, imperial and redguard face, add smiling lip options? What mod will do all of these and generally not look like some terrible weeaboo wet dream while giving me a gorgeous, realistic, fun lady-type character? I'd PREFER directions to mods that only effect the female player character - and my main focuses are really just the decreasing of wrinkles and the addition of smiling lips in the presets. Thanks a ton, please be punctual and helpful with any responses!
  10. Hi everybody! I'm looking for a mod that will let me craft the small, ragged shoulder covering shall/cape of fur on the fur armor that bandits use. It's a great little detail, and it looks awesome from the back. My orcish barbarian's lackluster cape would benefit greatly if someone could help me find a standalone craftable version of it that goes in it's own armor slot.
  11. Alright, this is weird - see what you make of it, nexusfolk. I just returned from a short vacation and decided to make a new character. I've been playing as her for the better half of the morning and gotten her to level three from just bumming around and blasting people with spells, and it's been enjoyable. Unbeknownst to me, a patch was released while I was gone, so when I went to smith some small things for her... I encountered a very game breaking bug. Her smithing skill is 15, but when I make anything it jumps up to 30... then to 42, then to 60 or something and so on. It doesn't end there, either. Every time I smith something I seem to gain two or more levels! I went up to level seven in a confused state, asking myself what the hell was happening as I kept ticking the box for MAGICKA, HEALTH and STAMINA. I assumed it must have been some Steam Workshop mod that updated while I was gone, so I unsubscribed the most recent one in experimentation... and the next one. and the next one. It took me forever to figure out it wasn't any of my mods and that there must be a patch related issue - Google showed me that there was indeed. The character is not ready for those higher levels yet, what with her low level and small spell reserve, so this is extremely unfortunate for me... I've looked around to see if anyone else was having the problem, and it looks like there are a few. Who else is having to put up with this? :/ EDIT> oh, there's already a topic for this... oof. My bad.
  12. Good to hear that it's not EXTREMELY hard, that gives me some hope. Would anyone be interested in doing standalone craftable gender independent clothing for every outfit in Vanilla as a project? Of course it would take a long time, but all the most rewarding things do. Think of the fame and the popularity you'd get for it! Think of the dresses! The pretty pretty dresses~!
  13. Gotta go and bump this up from the fourth page, probably would have been a good idea not to post it so late last night.
  14. So my friend (and myself, don't worry, it's not a lame excuse) like to see female clothes on males and male clothes on females now and then, half for sexual reasons and half for character development. A female ranger wearing male clothes, for instance, or a mage wearing a woman's dress because it looks kind of like a robe. How hard would it be in theory to make craftable meshes of female apparel to fit over vanilla male bodies and vice-versa? Thanks very much, and no "EWWWWWWWW GAAAYYY" comments - TES Nexus is famous for being filled with perverse garbage. It's like a tradition for Strendar's sake.
  15. I was walking down a corridor in some old fort, and I come to this hallway with a pressure plate tripped ceiling flail trap. There was also a rat in the hall. As soon as the rat saw me he bounded over to get some tasty argonion flesh. Within his second leap he landed in the middle of the plate. The mace fell and knocked him into the back of the hall. I was fighting two bears at the same time - a brown and black one (absolutely terrifying experience). I ended up just casting lightening spells and downing potions as fast as I could. When the mist from the electronic blasts cleared, the bears were lying dead on top of one another, both of their mouths open in angry roars of hot bear sex. It's not really a kill, per say- but I was rampaging through Bruma (what gives those nords the right to build a city in cold mountains? Bastards) and I shocked the 'immortal' guard captain and he went all stretchy before coming back to life and chasing me again. I ended up causing him to explode all over the streets over and over again with a huge fireball spell, then stretching his limbs as far as I could before he woke up - snapping back into a normal person and starting the process over again. I know I have more, but those are the only ones I can think of. :/
  16. Shoot, oh well. Thanks all. That third option sounds like a plan. :D
  17. I've been exploring Cyrodill as multiple characters and one thing always manages to rear its hoary head. Real-estate. Often times my low level characters need someplace to stay and store their goods, but their money is tight. I'm constantly on the lookout for free places to crash and stash my junk that won't respawn and don't have pesky wildlife running around inside it. So far I've found two such places/areas. There's a cave outside the Imperial city called Wellspring cave which is part of the Mages Guild quest. Wellspring is a cozy and homey place to rest one's head, if of course you don't mind the dark, and the cold, the bats, and the minimal space for storage. I've had a few characters that lived there. You'll need to move your stuff if you want to get very far in the mages guild quest, and I'm uncertain if you can live there after the mages staff quest is completed. The other isn't an area or a building, but could be useful. It's the jewelry box on the small dock outside the ayleid ruin Vilverin which is just ahead of you after you exit the sewers during the first phase of the game. When you first loot it it has a ring or something. I've gone back many times to see what it contained after its respawn, but it's always empty. I'm fairly certain that you could store thing inside of it and retrieve them later. Are there any other places like this that you've found? I'd love to know about them, and I'm sure others would as well.
  18. I don't know how to get my point across without sounding disrespectful, so if I do please excuse me. I can not use mods for this. I haven't the first clue how to navigate my program files, and those tutorials only muddle and confuse the situation further. I am not anywhere near as technologically savvy as I would like to be and there is no way to get around it. I've tried endlessly to figure out how to download and work with mods, construction sets, mod managers, Wrye bashes, and anything else I've seen mentioned on forums with the same general questions that I need answered, but I can't figure out a damn single thing because it isn't written with Vista in mind. I've looked through vista tutorials as well and they are just as confusing. At the moment mods are out of both the question and my reach. (I'm going to see if I can find someone in my local area to teach me all that I need to know as far as modding goes.) I'm asking for glitches. Something already in the game that I can manipulate into doing what I want. For instance pick pocketing an NPC, looting a glitched wardrobe, or picking something up that just happens to be sitting around. Is there one or more way to go about wearing the female version of a piece of clothing on a male model without messing around with coding? Thank you.
  19. I really do appreciate your attempt to help, but I can't even figure out how to install a mod (ex the ring of console or that mod) in my game. I thought I made that clear in this statement; But I guess not. Thank you for being helpful in any case, but I can't use mods.
  20. I guess general is as good a place for this as any, considering that it isn't a request or a mod... Let me be frank. I don't like any of them men's clothing in vanilla Oblivion. It's bulky, dirty looking, and unpleasant. Many of my male characters are designed with the term "trap" in mind, and the clothing does not at all match them. I am unable to fix this problem with modding because I don't know the first thing about it. I can't even get the console command to work because I can't find a way to enable it while using a vista operating system. Are there any glitches that swap out the vanilla male version of a piece of clothing with a female one? I'm getting desperate and I can only imagine my kajhit in a pretty princess dress for so long before I get sick of the unflattering red silk robe. I appreciate any and all help immensely.
  21. Urial septim: "Then this is the day. The stars were right!" Me:" Ia! Ia! Old Ones fhtagn! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn! Ia!" Most of you won't get it. Google Lovecraft.
  22. My, my, this looks like a fun thread. I have a list. Guards weak goblins clanfear xivilai (so satisfying to see them fall) storm atronach fist fights with ogres are awesome some liches are a big challenge for me, so I love them Wraiths provide a challenge as well, but they are not fun to fight. I enjoy them though. Daedroths My main guy takes all of these things on with his fists at every opportunity and wins without the use of potions or enchanted accessories.
