  1. Using the creation kit, how do you make an NPC hit more often with archery?
  2. bump, anyone? I'm losing my mind. The game crashes on load like 3 times, then finally on the 4th or 5th attempt the game will finally load.

  5. What is the easiest way to restrict an npc from equipping heavy armor? By npc I'm referring to a custom made follower in which I have access to this npcs inventory. I'm trying to avoid using the onequipped event, there should be a simpler way.

  8. I placed two actors outside of riverwood and ticked "initially disabled". I then make a quest alias for both of them. I picked unique actors and checkmarked "allowed disabled". On stage 20 I have this code: actor person1 = alias_person1.getreference() as actor actor person2 = alias_person2.getreference() as actor person1.enable() person2.enable() But it never enables them, I tried using "select forced reference" and chose them outside riverwood, but it still does not enable them. Are you supposed to always use forcerefto() ? If that's the case what is the point of using referencealias if you have to always add the actor as a property to the script.

  12. For some reason it's not changing the fov. I think this only changes the FOV in the ini file. How do you change the FOV while the game is running from script?

  14. How do you force an NPC to drink a potion via script? Actor.UseItem ?
  15. How do you move an npc behind the player without them getting stuck in a mountain or something? I'm trying to move an NPC to the location of the player, then from there the NPC has a forcegreet package that kicks in. The player could be anywhere and is not in a static location.
  16. How do I edit an AI package so the NPC doesn't applaud, drink or get up to cheer and dance when a bard is singing? I tried unticking everything except "hellos to player", but they still get up to go applaud for a bard. I figured it out. You have to add the npc to the BardAudienceExcludedFaction I tested this and it works perfectly.
  17. I've made custom code for a custom follower which allows you to recruit the follower via dialogue or dismiss them. Will this lead to problems? 1. Will the custom follower end up following the Dragonborn to restricted areas where the Dragonborn is only supposed to go alone? 2. I'm not using playerfaction, currentfollowerfaction, currenthireling or any of those factions, can any problems arise in game? I designed the follow code to operate using a single global variable to determine if the follower was asked to follow the dragonborn or not. By making my own custom follower code, i can avoid compatibility problems with UFO, EFF or any other companion mods or companion helper mods.
  18. You go to buy stuff from the merchant, but then the vendors mouth is open in a very awkward way. Is there a mod that fixes this?
  19. Here is what I'm looking for: 1. The player positions the camera over a table in the drunken huntsman. 2. A trigger kicks in and a message box shows up saying "you're looking at a table". What is the easiest way to achieve this?
  20. That's unfortunate. There is a perk called "Deadly Blow", it's a mod that adds a perk to the player to allow critical damage when attacking an opponent from the back. I would like my followers to have this perk, perhaps there is another way to add the deadly blow perk functionality without using perks? Any ideas? To use things like: CalculateMyCriticalChance CalculateMyCriticalDamage Without perks.
  21. How do you add a perk to a follower via script? I'm thinking it should be no more than one line of code.
  22. Could someone make a mod that simply turns on ENB using the shift+f12 then turn it off once you're out of a conversation?
