HORRIBLE FPS Drops ! Tried everything :( Help please

This .ini setting completely destroyed my FPS in downtown Boston FWIW. I don't even have a scrapping mod, I think a tree mod recommended changing the .ini. Definitely try default .inis or BethIni. -
Is there another place on the site I can view my 'Updates' besides the dropdown menu at the top? For some reason I cannot keep it open as I scroll down, it keeps closing. It would be easier to just go to a page with the Updates listed-is there an URL for that? Thanks!

I just started using Gameplay Performance ENB http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53100/? for just two features-better shadows and better water; it improves both immensely imho, with little effect on FPS (I have my FPS locked at 60)

if you are leery about adding an ENB, have you tried just using Imaginator http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13049/? to adjust the saturation/brightness? It has some presets that you can try out.
