  1. Hi. I recently got FO:NV for the first time on PC. Besides the DLCs, I've played most of it on the PS3. You could say I'm a veteran modder, as I've modded Oblivion and Skyrim, so installing isn't an issue. Basically, I'm just trying to make the game look prettier, as well as add new content (armour, weapons, quests, etc.). I don't have the time right now to look through the entire nexus, so I was hoping to get a list of "essentials", you know, a body mod, face mod, new textures, maybe a lighting mod, as well as anything else you can think of. I'm also open to any popular overhauls. Thanks in advance.
  2. Specifically, I want to give a custom race the racial abilities of a Breton. Is there any way I can give my character the abilities of a Breton while keeping the aesthetics of this custom race?
  3. I'd prefer the Crossbow, but make them dual wieldable.
  4. I started Skyrim with an assassin character, and I was doing the mission where you infiltrate the Thalmore embassy. I always used the novice hood you get at the beginning, as I've always found helmets just don't go with light armour. I was excited when I saw the Thalmore's hood, but when I found out it was attached to the robes I was a bit disappointed. I was thinking someone should make a Thalmore hood mesh separate from the original robe, then place the new item in a chest in Whiterun or something. I'd really like to see a mod like this, I was actually surprised no one had uploaded something similar.
  5. Thanks. I did look in the read-me, but I guess I didn't look hard enough.
  6. I heard that OWCND comes with it's own armours and body replacer for the armours, so I'm just wondering if this will conflict with HGEC, which I need for a lot of my armour mods. Also, if they don't conflict, is there a mod that converts the armours in OWCND to HGEC?
  7. One of the strengths of Bows is that even though you have to buy ammo, at higher levels it's easy to kite people around, especially with a higher speed, not to mention it takes less than a second to notch your bow, even less time to aim it. That's where I think Muskets could come in. It takes a couple seconds to load a rifle or musket (well it takes a lot of seconds really, but for gameplay purposes we'll just have it at a couple seconds.) so you won't have as many shots, but you'd probably do more damage with a gun than a bow. Therefor the damage per second wouldn't be affected too much. Another, easier way to go about it would to simply throw bows out altogether. Replace all the bow animations with a rifle/musket animation and replace all the bows with muskets (Iron muskets for iron bows, steel muskets for steel bows, so on) and replace arrows with musket balls. Keep the aforementioned effects like the slower notching speed and greater damage.
  8. well according to all of my account signups I'm 111 years old.
  9. So I've been building my first gaming computer from scratch, and with the help of my brother I've got the case and the power supply (yeah, I'm not very far -_-). I know that it's a long way off, because I'm planning on buying the video card last. But what I want to know is how well this particular video card would be able to handle Skyrim at maximum graphics (no mods, just vanilla Skyrim graphics). I realize that it's hard seeing as how there's no demo, and no specs have been released (to my knowledge anyways) so just take a guess. I was told by my brother that anything from the 6000 series could blow anything made in the next two years out of the water (may be embellished a little) but after seeing how awesome Skyrims graphics look... I just don't know :P
  10. I'd like an armor based off of the outfit of Trinity from the Matrix. I just want them to be light armor, just the jacket version (although a non-jacket version would be cool too ;)) A picture of both, just in case you haven't seen the movie in a while. https://d27fcql9yjk2c0.cloudfront.net/assets/2082754/lightbox/trinity%20avatar%20outfit.jpg?1284253169
  11. So one time I saw this mod called "more accessory slots" or something along those lines. It allowed you more tail slots, ring slots, and amulet slots. Now I can't find it, but I'm sure it exists. Can someone find this mod, or a mod like this one?
  12. Yeah, I stopped using it because it was conflicting with too many mods, including Knights of The Nine and two armor mods (because the chests were both placed in Anvil). Still, it was great mod even with all the compatibility issues.
  13. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23487 (only female) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901 (comes with a weapon too, though I've never used this mod) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15147 (my favourite armour as a vampire) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32304 (also only for females) The first is a heavy set. It is BY FAR my favourite armour for warriors. The second is based off of warhammer, but I've never played that game or used that mod so I don't know much about it (think I might try it now, actually). The last two are light armors. They aren't exactly "cover you in metal from head to toe" armours but they look cool as heck.
