  1. Okay I tried it out exactly as you said here and it didn't work, on my old save that I loaded I the rad indicator functioned normally before and after doing this procedure. After loading my most recent save I found that infernal rad indicator still stuck on my screen.. if anyone else has a clue on how to fix this.. maybe a console command or something.. I'd greatly appreciate it

I had the same exact problem as you, I installed fallout 3 through steam and DL'd a bunch of mods to use and then it just wouldn't launch when I started it up.. never found out why though I suspect it may be because the windows live disabler didn't move my dlc out of the folder properly.. I don't know.. I reinstalled and moved them out myself and it worked perfectly with all of my mods.
  3. I will try it but I'm not sure if it will work because before when I uninstalled it and reinstalled it without the option I went inside and the rad indicator was still there. I'll try reinstalling it with the option on and then going indoors and then reinstalling it with it off, like I said not sure if it will work because I feel really hopeless with this bug but thanks for the idea EDIT: Okay I've finally got the time to really try out this method now, and about what I said previously in this post it was because I didn't comprehend the instructions perfectly, I thought you meant load any save, I totally passed over the part where you said last save with this option on, it totally sounds viable with that in mind.

After installing the mod Enhanced Weather I had turned on the radioactive rain and snow option, after realizing that the module didn't modify the appearance of the rain and snow - it merely raises your rad level as you stay outdoors, I decided to uninstall the mod and then reinstall with that module off. Now I have a permanent Radiation Indicator on my UI that will not disappear no matter what I do, no matter where I go even. I have checked my rad level by entering GetRadiationLevel into the console and it is consistently at 1 and is not rising therefore the indicator is bugged by appearing anywhere despite whether or not my radiation level is increasing, Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? EDIT: I've discovered something else, whenever my radiation level SHOULD be rising it isn't (IE standing in green water, standing in other irradiated areas.) however it does still rise whenever I drink from an irradiated water source or eat something irradiated.

I second this request, I'd love to see a working model of the Chey-Tac Intervention - definitely one of my favorite sniper rifles (Second only to the M95 - bolt action variant of the famous Barett M82) I'm a big bolt action fan so the more bolt action sniper rifles I can get the better. About the one in xCalibr it's merely decoration and if you obtain it (usually by noclipping through the fence and stealing it) you will find that it does not work. Seeing as the model is there though it should be relatively easier for an experienced modder to take that model and turn it into a fully functioning gun. This is also a golden opportunity for a novice modder who wants to try and make something really nice.
  6. I tried disabling everything but the DLC's and it still wouldn't launch. Disabling the mods one by one would take me all night >_> Oh I forgot to add: I don't get an error message, it just launches then goes black and says "Fallout 3 has stopped working" Using Windows Vista (SP 2)
  7. Hey guys, I looked through google for this but I find it really hard to pinpoint my specific issue of why my Fallout 3 won't launch at all. I have FOSE installed and I have windows live disabled as well as my DLC moved into my main fallout folder. I am using Fallout Mod Manager to launch the game as well as using it to configure my load order. Could anyone have any clue as to why it won't start? It has run on my computer successfully before but I had to defrag so now that I've installed it again and installed these mods it won't work anymore.
