Help getting a Follower in-world.
ShadowWolf81 replied to ShadowWolf81's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hmm.. well i managed to figure out what was glitching and keeping me from getting her into the Game.... i think. Now i have a new problem. i CTD whenever i enter the Sleeping Giant Inn (which is where i stuck her). So... any thoughts on what could cause a custom follower to cause a CTD when you enter the area they are in? -
Ok.. so after 'finally' managing to get to the point were Creation Kit would 'not' crash on me when i tried opening up what i 'thought' i'd need to make a follower *dances* I managed to create one based off my own character.. and got her put in-world at the Sleeping Giant Inn. Or so i thought. When i go there.. she's nowhere to be found. In the creation kit render window, it shows her there, she's in the Inn's Interior item list... and sofar as i know, everything else needing to be done has been done (even clicking on the esp file within the mod list for the game). Anyone know what might be causing her to not show up? Did i miss a step somewhere? p.s. How do i get the Render window for Cell interiors to rotate around?.. all i seem to be able to do is select items and move them.... but i cant seem to find a way to rotate the window itself.

Hey guys... quick question. Can anyone point me towards a decent SKSE options video/tutorial/how-to? Just re-installed Skyrim (think i broke mine with a mod.. and wanted a new start anyway XD). And forgot to backup the SKSE folder i had (with the ini options thing) Or.. give me a quick how-to here? I vagely remember setting up a "SKSE" Folder 'inside' either the 'data' folder, or the 'skyrim' folder (but outside of the data one) With a single text file in it that had a few lines of simple code on it.... But... thats about it, i cant remember what most of it was, or if i even know what to name the folder/file =) I know one of it was to make the SKSE use the 2/4k textures... not sure what the other ones were. i think just some small tweaks. So.... anyone feel up to either pointing me in the right direction... or giving me a quick how-to along with a list of widely used options to put into the text file?

Hey guys. For the past long while.. ive tinkered with everything from Weather mods (CoT), to clothing, to armor and shapes. Love the way my Skyrim looks right now.. but the one thing i dont have yet... are any 'new' animations. Anyone have any tips on what sort of animation sets to get?... so im not simply standing around like a tree all the time?.. or any 'good' looking combat animations to pick up?

Main story Quest, or Civil War first?
ShadowWolf81 replied to ShadowWolf81's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yea been doing side-quests.. just wasnt sure which of the two 'big' ones i should do first to keep from royaly screwing things up =) -
Hey guys, I know that by now turning a player character into a follower should be easy for most anyone. But, i can never get CK to cooperate for some reason.. and between work and school.. dont have the time to troublshoot it =(. So... Question is.. Is anyone willing to turn my character into a 'standalone' follower? I can provide the 'short' list of mods that'd be needed (ones a race, others a hair one. And can provide the name of the 'body-mod' i use as well if needed.) as well as the file you can make with the console command. Thats just as far as i can get when i try to do things myself. So.. anyone have any spare time? Figured this'd be the only way i can play 'with' a friend of mine, until TESO comes out =)

Hey guys. Just have a quick question for anyone that has done mulitiple playthrougs. What would you recommend doing first? the Civil War storyline, or the Main 'Skyrim' storyine? I know that one, or both of these, can have an impact on completing certain objectives in the other (without giving otu spoilers). But im not sure just 'how' they can interfere with one another. So.. which would you sudjest doing first?

Blackscreen while leaving Lakeview Manor
ShadowWolf81 replied to Schwippps's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
This solved it for me as well. Uninstalling the Quality world map. Did that, then walked into Lakeview Manor, did some smithing, walked out. No infinate black screen. -
Hmmm did that. then tried opening up the race-mod that i wanted to use on my character/follower. ( The Ningheim race ). When i try to open it up in CK though, it gives me an error about trying to open to many 'master' files and stops the open. I tried using a tool to turn the esp for the Ningheim race into a esm, and it still happens. When i try to select/open the custom race mod (to create the character) it auto-selects the Skyrim, Dawnguard, Race Fix, and a few other things as well... which causes the error with to many master files being opened at once. Any ideas?

Creating a custom follower with a custom race
ShadowWolf81 replied to VictorAlkaiser's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
If anyone still looks at this thread.. My issue. Trying to create a character of 'myself' in game to pass along to a friend of mine. (as untill TESO comes out, its the only way to 'play together' =) ). Well, the race i am trying to use is the Ningheim race. I got the esp converted over to a esm with the TESVSnip tool, but any time i try to open up the esm with Creation Kit, it tells me there are multiple master's being opened at once? For some reason it auto-checks dawnguard, update, and two other esm files along with the converted Ningheim esm file. This cause the 'file open to fail'. Any ideas? -
Hey guys, A few times, while browsing nexus, i ran across follower downloads that were peoples actual characters. Just curious if anyone is able to tell me how to go about doing that? (ie: how to set up the npc-follower using my current character, default skills/armor and such) Slightly tempted to copy my own character over into a 'follower' and e-mail her to a friend to use who also plays Skyrim. Hey, until TESO comes out, its the closest to 'playing together' you can get  Thanks for any replies.

Can I make unused Followers stay at my home?
ShadowWolf81 replied to ShadowWolf81's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'll give that one a shot =) And yea, wasn't planning to use it on primary followers such as Serana, more like huskarls and the like, and other mod-followers. -
Can I make unused Followers stay at my home?
ShadowWolf81 replied to ShadowWolf81's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hmm 'k, i may pick up one of those then. =) That only works if they're still your follower though. I was more looking for a way to get them to go to my home when i chose the 'i think we should part ways' option. -
Not sure if there is already a mod out for this yet or not (if so can someone point me in the right direction? =) ). But, instead of a follower heading back to wherever their home point is set to, is there any way to make them go back to the house i currently have? Such as the Lakeview Manor? Some followers simply work better in some situations than others, and i'd rather not have to constantly ride my horse all over Tamriel to find them again.

Armor Add On/Mod recommendations?
ShadowWolf81 replied to ShadowWolf81's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
CBBE mod list? Yea might be a stupid question, but what/where is that? =) -
Hey guys. Im currently waiting for a new custom desktop to come in the mail.. and will be doing a clean-install of Skyrim. While i have a few mods i plan to re-install on the new machine, they are mostly eye-candy stuff (like Climates of Tamriel and such). What im curious about is the armor/body mods out there. So Far, ive loved the CBBE body mod mainly due to body-slide (yea its about big boobs and butts, but with Bodyslide i can actually make it more 'realistic' ). There also seem to be quite a few armor's out that support it. But... its hard to find some that are not 90% skin, 5% armor, 5% cloth. I was considering switching over to UNP, but it seems to have the same issues (at least as far as im finding with the search in Nexus) and i lose the 'body-slide' option. So... does anyone have any particular preference for the body-mods that are out there?.. What made you pick 'it' as your body mod. And... are there any decent looking armor mods out that don't quite go the 'girls gone wild' look, but still look better than Vanilla?

Not sure about 'challenging'. But general gameplay wise.. stuff that doesn't make you 'godlike' but DOES increase some gameplay experiences.. Convenient Horses: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14950/? Adds Horse combat + looting/talking from horseback and gets your followers to summon/ride their own horse so they're not running at the speed of sound behind you. Crown Helmets for Some Armor: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5803/? On the off-chance you wanna see your 'face' more than a helm =) High Detail Map: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4817/? + World Map: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4929/? Makes the 'map' a bit more useful. Lanterns of Skyrim: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18916/? Adds some lanterns to the roads and some villages. Doesn't make them into a 2040 Tokyo, but adds a bit of light were there otherwise wouldn't be any. Works well with Climates of Tamriel if you have the one of the last 3 darkest settings installed. Climates of Tamriel + DLC patches: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17802/? New weather and lighting. Can make it were you NEED torches in caves or you literally cannot see. (you can get caught in a sheer blizzard and have to fight against snow-wolves + ice-trolls... makes for an interesting time fighting something white, with your screen full of snow.) You'll also want to Pick up all of the 'unofficial Skyrim/Dawnguard/Dragonborn/Heathfire' patches as they fix A LOT of the Bugs that were never fixed in the official patches.

Guess no one has run into this befor? =(

Got a quick question. I am currently using a custom race: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35474/? And while i am curring enjoying it 99%. Ive ran into an odd thing with the character edit. When choosing presets (i use SkyUI if it helps) with the specific race the mod has, i notice that some of the pre-sets will default some items (such as mouth shape) Beyond what the ui will let me chose if i change it. For instance. Preset 4 will set the 'mouth-shape' to say... 34. I click either left or right arrows on that particular option and it jumps down to 30 and refuses to go any higher. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Thanks for any tips =)

Yup, was about to edit my post and say i fixed it myself...... but... got lost in eye-candy and slaughtering bandits.. . Was the injector that did the trick. Now its running with no problems! Though i DID have to edit the injector file following instructions on another post. Had to tell it to point towards the SKSE_loader as well as Skyrim. Thanks for the help =)

Ok... i keep seeing these great screenshots, and videos... all useing ENB's of some sort. Now.. i'd simply snag one and install it if i could, but i know i need the actual 'ENB' thing that is found outside of Skyrim Correct? If so.... if anyone is willing (and has experience walking people threw it....) think you can give me a general 'step-by-step' on how to install the 'base' ENB thing i need, + a ENB i picked up called: The Wilds ENB 3_0 All-In-One-21123-3-0 ? I had to go outside of nexus to pick up the Wilds one.. as its no longer shown on Nexus (so couldn't just tell the mod manager to install it for me XD... but i may still be able to?) I also picked up a file called: enbseries_skyrim_v121212 From the same site i got the Wilds ENB from, as it is apparently needed (thats the version of ENB im guessing?) for The Wilds to work properly. So... anyone willing to give me a hand... if you understood just what i was asking for? Thanks for any responses.

This may be a bit of an odd request... but figured since i can get about 500 mods to come up in the search of armor's that have been remade (either nearly nude, or simply redesigned slightly), I'm wondering why there doesn't seem to be any replacers for Mage robes. Any modders out there in the process of making, or willing to work on.. making a mod that makes the Mage's robes not so.... bathrobie looking? Or.. if something already exist.. help me find it? hehe

I do read tyvm. But ive never used FNIS before now. And when using something that modifies files the way this one does. I'd rather make sure im doing it right befor i simply start clicking buttons based off what i 'think' it wants me to do. And as for the Behavior file. I honestly dont know where that is. Its not showing up on NMM.
