  1. Agree. Downloaded Skyrim SE Anniversary Edition. First start in Steam. Used Vortex to add SKSE64 and Vortex deleted all but five of the Creation Club content. I mean they were physically deleted from the Data folder. Been at it two weeks now to try and make Vortex work, alas to no avail. Even when plugins show up in the Vortex Plugin tab, they often don't get recognized in game. Back to the DOS games it is.
  2. I've been at this for two weeks now, and I simply can't get Vortex to work properly. I've installed Vortex fresh several times, deleted all files and mods, reinstalled Skyrim SE from scratch two or three times a day. Each time I delete ALL Skyrim SE files on my HDD (in the Steam folder, Documents folder and the %AppData% Vortex folder). Now just, I started a simple new game through SKSE64 in Vortex (only mod installed) and Vortex had deleted all but 5 files of the Anniversary Edition on its own. I mean they were no longer physically present in the Data folder. Simple gonna give up on Vortex.
  3. Same problem here. Uninstalled Skyrim SE several times, deleted all relevant files in the Steam folder, in the Documents folder, and in the Vortex %AppData% folder. My load order: SKSE64 followed by Botox for Skyrim ... black face and no visual improvement. Did it all over again (uninstall, delete, etc.). New load order: SKSE64 and Pandorable's NPCs. No black face yet no improvent. Tried again with Bijin, CBBE, UNP, etc. Absolutely nothing changes in the NPCs. I have literally been at this for two weeks (bye bye Christmas vacation). I tried installing various collections for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE and they ALL crash. Nothing seems to be working anymore. I was wondering whether this could be a problem somewhere with the Nexus website. Tried Mod Organizer 2 instead of Vortex and the bugger crashed when trying to install a mod from Nexus ... a SINGLE mod.
  4. Ever since the last update, Vortex seems unable to properly install even the simplest of mods, let alone collections. No collections has worked for me on Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 4, Fallout NV, and Skyrim SE. Only Fallout 3 Rebirth works. I have done a clean install of all these games and Vortex (including deleting the relevant files by hand) and nothing works. I just tried a very simple installation: CBBE and Botox for Skyrim. CBBE worked, Botox didn't (all plugins enabled of course, I'm not an amateur). Over the past week I tried pretty much every body enhancer available on the Nexus and apart from the simplest CBBE nothing works. The files download, the mods install, the plugins enable yet nothing happens in game. I'm getting really tired of this. Any suggestions apart from getting drunk which is now Plan B?
  5. I always get "Cyclic Rules " errors in Fallout 4 EVEN WITH NO MODS INSTALLED. I reinstalled Fallout 4, reinstalled Vortex, both several times and I keep getting cyclic rules. They refer to mods once used by the "A StoryWealth" Collection although I deleted everything related to Fallout 4 in the "My Games", "Steam", and Vortex directories. I keep getting these and it is driving me nuts. Barney B. Butcher.
  6. OK, this is weird. I suddenly got a message regarding cyclic rules to mods that weren't even installed. Got fed up, deleted all mods, deleted Fallout 4. I STILL get the same error message with no mods and not even Fallout 4. So .... HELP.
  7. Yup, that does the trick. Thanks. Guess what, I had that mod installed since 20 October 2022. Apparently it is/was part of Canliberk's Immersive & Adult Collection.
  8. Hello. I quite enjoy collecting items and having them displayed in the Museum (LOTD), Leveler's Tower, or Caranthir Tower (or any other such mods). The problem is of course you only get one of the items you need to display and using the console to make multiple copies can be a bit of a bother. So I was thinking along the lines of a Chest (or any other container) that would duplicate any item placed in it (after using a nice switch or such). It would make life a lot easier. Just an idea, don't know if it is feasible. Kind regards, Morgoth Bauglir, Culinary Chef from Hell and part-time pillow salesman.
  9. Greetings, Ye Mortals. I have had this problem several times. When I start a New Game without altering the mods installed, some mods simply stop working. N.E.S.T. Survival Bunkers and Internal Teleportation Mod are two of the latest examples. I tried reinstalling them, alas, to no avail. I was wondering whether other people have encountered similar problems? The only solution I found was to delete all mods and install them all again. Takes me several days, so obviously, it would be neat if there were another solution.
