  1. Hi guys, I have an idea for a mod that I am planning on creating and I was after your guy's opinions, suggestions, and feedback for this mod. So as the title suggests it will primarily be a farming mod. Some of the features I have planned are as follows: Soil needs to be tilled with a shovel or something before you can plant on itThe vanilla crop mechanic will be removed and replaced with the need to first craft seeds from the crop, which is then planted, grows and gives food.By adding fertilizer the crops will grow and/or produce quickerSome crops, such as corn and grain, will only produce once, and once collected will die and need to be replanted. For balancing reasons you will get more crops then a regenerating plant such as a mutfruitOnce planted, seeds will take some amount of in-game time to grow ( a few days) or accelerated with fertilizer.Villagers cannot collect food from the crop until it is fully grownPossibly add in a watering mechanic, that the crop will not grow unless watered, this will be able to be automated (the greentop nursery has a sprinkler system, possibly look into implementing something similar)Eventually, I'd like to expand into animal farming (meat collection and milking) as well as brewing (because alcohol). But this will be Stage 2 of the modSo yea, what do you guys think? One thing that I really want your guys feedback on is what can I add to make this mod worthwhile? There has a be a reason to download this other than making farming more immersive
  2. I have an idea for a mod I want to make. Its called Self-Levelling Armoury (until I decide on a better name) and it does basically what it suggests. That your armour, weapons and mage clothes with level up with you. It is inspired by InsanitySorrow's mod 'The Huntsman' which increases its damage and speed with each five levels the character gains. How I think it want to work is that each time you level up, a script fires that updates that item you have equipped. For example, if a sword is equipped, and you have levelled up, then the base weapon damage will increase, its critical chance might increase, its speed might increase. Things like that. For armour, I think the armour rating might increase and the weight might decrease. (Not sure if i want to include armours yet or not) For mages clothes, it will have an enchantment that boosts a particular type of magic depending on the player, as well a resistance enchantment, and it gets stronger each time you level up. As a specific example, say you are a destruction mage. You have a hood that boosts total magicka and magicka regen. You have robes that boost magic resistance and physical resistance. It starts off at level 1 with a 10% rating. Then for each level it increases by, lets say 1% up until level 70. that would mean that by the time they reach level 80, the resistance is 80%, the maximum the vanilla enchanting system goes to. So in that sense the system scales with the level. To me it seems more immersive, as your character gets stronger they learn to use the items better, and so the item values will reflect this. It also will help in convenience, as a mage will get a set of magic clothes at the start of a playthrough and not have to change for the rest of the playthrough, their set will level with them. I dont think it would be that hard to set up a framework for this so that anyone could add their own custom creations to the self-levelling system. Let me know about any ideas you have on this. Do you think its crap, or a good idea? Any idea for improvements or another direction this mod could take? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  5. If you have a look at skyBirds, they have flying animations built into the mod, maybe you could get that into your hawks or falcons? An easy way of doing it would be while the hawk flys (with vanilla flying animation) a script activates a detect life spell, giving you a view of enemies or animals around you
  6. Become High King is a crap mod anyway. Having a moot would be cool, the problem is that you cant access the voice acting for the jarls. But lets face it, the High King doesnt have much functionality in Skyrim anyway, becoming a Jarl (with incidentally is the successor to 'Become High King') Is a slightly better mod, but another competing mod would do much better
  7. tailoring mod already exists. Brodual did a youtube video on it. Looks pretty decent. Although i dont think i integrates levels, just lets you use a loom to make clothes (from memory) sorry to burst your bubble! Try contacting the mod author with ideas for expansion

  10. sounds like a fantastic idea! a lot of interesting ideas in this, some difficult, but i think do-able. There is already a wild horse mod that has rideable stallions in herds, but they do not require breaking in. As far as im aware, there is no way to stop a stolen item (including horse) from being stolen, without replacing the base item. But overall a great idea, i hope it can be made

  13. Ive always wanted a saddlebag mod that allows you to select the saddle bags on the horse, not press a hotkey. I dony know how you add a container activator to a moving object, but if you could pull it off it would incredible. If you put your crosshairs on the horse you mount it, but if you put your crosshairs on the saddle bags you open the container

This is a fantastic idea! you could even have members of the guild that specialise in different areas of smithing e.g. dwarven, steel etc. You could also have a ranking system so the more you smith the better rank you are, unlocking special bonuses and such. I would love to help put this mod together if you are interested?

I would be happy to help with this mod, but you need to come up with some extra content, this is your vision, you need to have a direction in which you would like this mod to go, otherwise you end up with a disjointed mod kind of like Reqiuem that no one will download. Clear concise details is what you need
