  1. It depends on what the format is. The mesh file used in fallout is .nif It openable using certain programs (not sure which as i havent done any meshing in the past few months.) I do use a program called NifScope to look at the mesh and edit texture files and such.
  2. Looking for anyone who would like to help with this... Need to be skilled in the CS and in Scripting. Ive got it all planned out.
  3. Well if you could help with the meshes Ill do the textures... also just noticed Tenpenny already has an elevator button so ill use that on each outer floor. Then ill make my own inside the elevator button.
  4. I dont have aything in FOMM to turn it off and on. I use the program exe that has an Activate and Deactivate and Ive tried it off and on with resetting it too. No fix. Also Ive played FO3 on this same exact system before and its worked fine and then I had to reinstall FO3. I did everything exactly the same and this time it doesnt work.
  5. Well some of the mods youve seen are modded save games where they start with tons of caps or other stuff. This require no actual modding of the Xbox and is fairly simple to do. If you would like me to show you how send me a PM.
  6. Those are really good idea the problem with some of that is ALOT of mesh and texture work. So Ill release Initial and then when i have the time Ill do alot of that stuff, but Im all for it, and maybe even a hotel yopu can rent a room from on one of the floors.
  7. By all means please hit me with any and all ideas and ill see what i can do. This feels like it will be fairly quick to make if i dont put stuff in the new floors. I might just create them for now and release it like so and then in the next version Ill make buyable stuff for it like in the vanilla homes
  8. NO. If you were to think about it (which obviously you don't) The structure of the game differs at amazing lengths between the PC version and the Xbox version. On the PC Bethsoft gave us the utilities to make this kind of stuff. On the xbox there is no way for us to compile a mod into the game without getting banned secondly Microsoft controls the mods going into the game. This was purely a really stupid question to ask.
  9. Ok I found where the server strings are. Its part of the game settings. Go to the GamePlay menu then settings. All the Servers are under sTerminalServerTextXX Theres 10 of them where XX is the server number. I cannot however find a way to add new ones or Duplicate Current Ones. You can modify current ones to say what you want, but that would cause lots of terminals to say that.
  10. I think I might take this on. I can get the doors from the washington mounment. I will re-texture the inside of the monuments elevator to not have any holes. I will then Retexture a button to look like an actual elevator button. I will script the outer button of both the vanilla floors and the doors to teleport NPCs between the vanilla floors for the player however It will open the doors and you will step inside then hit the inner button where a menu will pop up asking what floor. Then like in the washington monument it will go up or down then when you get to the designated floor it will teleport you to the cell that contains the floor specified. This means each fllor though will require its own Elevator in the GECK however this is no issue. Let me know what you guys think of my plan and feel free to coment on anything you would like added.
  11. Hmmmm Im not sure what to say, all I can think of is close the Geck and then restart it, then check if the ESP is there. And if it is then we know its physically there if it isn't then do the modifications over again and save as a new ESP. You can also try go to folder options and showing hidden files and folders then go to the Data folder through explorer and see if you can see it.
