I just started with Vortex. I am familiar with the old Mod Manager and manual installs, but I am having issues with Vortex. After install and trying to manage the first game, Fallout 4, it gives me an error that my download folder is invalid. It says "It's not marked correctly" So I tried to use a different folder. When I do that, it says that the directory is not marked as a downloads folder. And asks me if I am *sure* that this is the right directory. I'm not even sure what is going on. Can anyone help?

I'm not too good at the whole mod thing, as I haven't been able to finish a complete storyline without creating some game-destroying bug every time... This time I am stuck in a random Oblivion Realm, and I get a CTD every time I try to leave. The "geez_stuff" plugin is a small mod I made to change a few small weapons and spells in the game, and I don't see how it would cause this problem...just FYI... I am becoming too discouraged to keep starting over. I don't have any friends that are into this kind of thing, so this is my only source for help. If anyone can give me any help, I would really appreciate it. If I can't fix this problem, I don't think I'll play Oblivion again.

I don't think it could run crysis on my pc... For some reason it's really slow. I mean it kind of chugs along ok on the LOWEST settings... I should at least be able to run on mid-range settings, right?

Hey, this is my first post... I'm new to PC games and mods. I just got a new PC with crazy specs that are all well past Oblivion's recommended specs. Yet for some reason I cannot play even Vanilla Oblivion in any of the higher settings. Here are my specs for a reference: Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 2.33 GHz Performance Rated at: 5.126 GHz 6.0 GB RAM Windows Vista 64bit SP1 Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce G100 DirectX 10 From what I understand this is way past what I need to run the game in higher resolutions. The PC even has an HDMI port! Yet it usually runs like crap even on the lower settings now (I think because of all my mods). I don't even know how to tweak my PC, but I just wish it would play games like I thought it would when I bought it last month. Please help me if you can.
