  2. Hrm, seems my downloads have once again taken a nosedive. The previous fix no longer appears to be working, though I'm not sure what might have caused the speeds to drop so low again.
  3. That seems to have improved things quite a bit, thank you!

  5. Hello folks, I've been using Nexus for a few years now, and download speeds have gotten progressively slower as time has gone on. I tolerated it for a time, since files were still downloading in something resembling a timely manner for the most part, but in the last year or so download speeds have become so horrifically slow that I am unable to download mods from the site. At most, I'm getting download speeds of 3 kbp/s, and mod downloads fail every time, whether I download them manually or with NMM. I've had a look through the forums to see if there's any fix, but my search hasn't left me with much hope. It's particularly annoying because there are a fair number of recent, very cool mods I'd love to check out, but as it stands I'm unable to download any of them. For point of reference, I'm usually sitting around 2 Mbp/s download speeds elsewhere, so I doubt slow internet is the cause in this case.
  6. Just a small update regarding my problem. I've read that the Atronach stone (which I have equipped) affects spells relating to the summoning of creatures, causing such spells to have a chance to fail. However, I have had the stone chosen long before this issue surfaced, so the two seem to be unrelated. All spells relating to the raising of corpses ceases to work across all of my saves.
  7. Hello there folks. So, as stated in the title of this thread, I have run into a strange issue today: for some reason, my spells for raising the dead (all of them, be it Raise Zombie, Raise Corpse, or Revenant) randomly stop functioning. I have not encountered this problem in the past, and were it as simple as the spell not being powerful enough then I would have no issues with it, but the game sends no notice (no helpful message in the upper left) of what is stopping my spell from working on the target and the target, regardless of its level, is unaffected by the spell I cast. All that happens is that the target corpse is sent flying a few feet. Considering that my character is a necromancer, this is an issue of dire importance to me. :( Once again, the issue only began occurring today. The only changes to Skyrim that I have implemented today have been the replacement of some textures for Dwemer-related items, so outside of that I am unsure of what could be causing the problem. I have attempted to troubleshoot on my own, but I cannot seem to find what exactly is causing this to occur, only that when it does occur the issue persists through the rest of the session, regardless of whether or not previous saves are loaded instead. Any and all help would be much appreciated!
