  1. So I've got an armor I'm trying to customize for personal use, and it was seemingly made for Readius type mods, because it's missing Pipboyon in Nifskope. I've been researching it for a few hours, and it seems to add Pipboyon to a mesh I need to use Blender, but beyond that I haven't found anything on actually adding a missing node. If anyone has any information they can share while I'm searching it it would be helpful, especially if I've got some information wrong. EDIT: So looking more of this up, it seems some armors can't be edited to use the pipboy, at least not without heavily modifying the meshes. Seems like I found the answer I needed, ironically after making this thread.
  2. I recommend you only use the texture mods listed, though at a point most textures will be personal preference due to overwrites. There doesn't seem to be too many up to date modding guides, though I believe Viva New Vegas will be adding enhanced content to it's selection sometime. Viva New Vegas already has personal patches and changes made for the mods in the guide, so if it updates before you've downloaded every texture and gun mod you could need, I suggest you use it for extra content beyond vanilla.
  3. And then, I would like the ability to throw them in people's eyes. I guess it could also deal some damage, and cause the head-cripple affect for a few minutes afterwords depending the the target Endurance.
  4. I so far haven't exactly figured out what I'm looking for, but I think it's kind of like a package for the level list that would say determine the difference between a 9mm and 10mm pistol, except it's instead based on set percentages for a single NPC line such as raiders or mercenary's. Sorry I don't know more, as this was something I just though of and had started searching for, so I posted this here on the chance someone understands what I'm saying.
  5. Hello, I have recently started making a mod, and would like some community feedback on it. There will be three plugins: One that scatters Courier DLC items, one that integrates them into the world, and another which will attempt a balance overhaul. Road-map: Phase 1 Scatter the items in lore-friendly places around the Wasteland. Phase 2 Integrate items around the Wasteland, such as high-ranking Crimson Caravan members selling Sturdy Caravan Shotguns/Lightweight Leather Armor, or some tribe-like groups wearing the Tribal Armor. Phase 3 Make it so weight has a big impact when it comes to armors and how they define the game experience. The inspirations for the mods come from those like JSawyer's which look to improve the game. I am happy to receive any suggestions you may have.

  7. *Update: I can load cells, such as Abandoned Shack, but so far the Good-Springs General Store crashes the GECK each time. I still haven't found any information detailing anything similar, so for now I'll keep looking.
  8. Hello, I have installed the patcher and patched both Exe's before trying them, but when I get into the GECK and try to load the General Good-store interior cell it crashes the GECK with a generic "exe Has stopped working". One thing I have noticed is how it always crashes around 13 references (0 cloning) and 13 tasks (0 working), which makes me wonder if I may be missing something, though when I verified the game cache it said everything was except two files (Which I believe always happens with Bethesda games). I checked through the FAQ link and also did Google searches, but I can't seem to find people with the same problem as me. Could I possibly be missing some GECK files from bugs, or could it just be bugs attacking me?
  9. So far I'm attempting my first mod, and I need to get into Goodsprings General Store to add a custom container for Chet so it's not incompatible with a lot of mods, but when ever I try to load it I crash at various percentages, usually below half I believe. I've installed GECK Power-up, tried a InI change that is suppose to fix some errors, and deleted my saves before verifying Steam cache for missing files. I haven't gone too deep into modding yet, as I am only attempting some light stuff that won't break much I hope, so I don't know the exact amount of stuff that may be broken in the GECK. Thanks for any help, and if more information is needed please tell me.
  10. The new design looks nice. The Nexus has been needing an update like this for a while.
