When a mod and its patch or fix is flagged for having duplicate files and I enter into the screen that prompts me to choose before all or after all which order do I choose for each file?

My vortex tanked, I made a thread here and it was closed. The impression I got through the thread was that the likely reason was due to me using win7. My question here is if anyone can point me to another mod manager that will run on win7, will take care of the files on its own like vortex (keeping install/uninstall easy) and that is compatible with Nexus. I'm in a serious pinch with money due to the economy where I reside and I won't be able to upgrade any time soon.

I think my issue may be that my vortex is on a different drive than my game. Might that cause an issue? Anyone know how to put it into a different drive? I'm trying to figure it out but could use some help.

Win7, I had vortex working until this morning for over a month and then it just crashed. It won't even start up at all now just and audible bzzzt and the error I mentioned.

This is the error I am getting. Vortex.exe. - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be located in the dynamiclink library KERNEL32.dll. I tried reinstalling/repairing net 6.0 as well as vortex. I am new to vortex, modding and I am not very tech educated. Any help would be great.

Just signed up. I'm active on Steam in case you recognize my name. I'd like to learn how to add mods to my games properly. I really screwed up my fo4 trying to do it manually with no understanding of what I'm doing. I'm not really very well rounded on my computer knowledge. Hope you can work with me on that fellas.
