  1. Actually, it's regional. US, Europe, and Australia, if I'm not mistaken...I'm on Mountain Time, for example, so it unlocks at 10 pm (which is 12 am ET).
  2. I just got a call, too...but there was no mention of a slip of paper. The nice robot lady just said to be there at ten to "join the fun" and be out of there by midnight with the game.
  3. I am concerned for how generic the quests might be and therefore how tedious. You usually have a trade-off with this things. Well, it's obviously not going to have a hand-crafted feel if it's procedurally generated...but, I'm encouraged by two things: 1) The quests come from the guilds as well as random NPC's, and 2) the job you get will vary based on which skills you've focused on. That should at least keep them from being annoying or tedious.
  4. Six is pretty reasonable; more than that would probably only let you max a few skills' perk trees. If you're mixing and matching from some lower-requirement perks, though, more could totally work. Trees range from about 8 to 15 points to max. My first character will have six skills, but that's really just coincidence based on what I picked for him. There isn't really a wrong way to do it!
  5. I hope it's not like in Oblivion where you 'bought' a spell like it was a sword or shield, I'd understand if you were buying a tome or scroll to learn it from, but it makes no sense to seemingly buy the knowledge itself and instantly learn it. Spells are sold as spell tomes, so you don't buy the spell, you buy a book that teaches you how to use it. Source? I know you can get spell tomes but I didn't know you bought them. If so, that's a massive improvement. I'm afraid I can't link the source; it was from a walk-through that has now been removed until the 11th. You can find the tomes as well as buy them, apparently.

  7. ...you spend an evening writing out character perk builds instead of doing homework.
  8. Yes, it has been said that there's no way to alter your appearance after character creation. We'll have to leave it to the modders.
  9. Class in the morning, then probably reading some reviews. After that, I'm off to a buddy's house to jam out for the afternoon and go shopping for some good mead! I have tech for a choir concert in the evening, which should finish around 8:30. I'll catch a dollar movie across the lot from my GameStop, then saunter back across the lot to camp out with the other nerds! If all goes well, I'll have borrowed my brother's historically-inaccurate viking helmet specifically for the occasion.
  10. For a Head Director, Todd does seem like a pretty chill dude. These shots of him drinking mead with the crew, for example: Awesome! To be honest, though, I don't think I could maintain a sunny demeanor for very long if I had Pete's job, either. :armscrossed:
  11. ...not even reading them? :psyduck: I don't even have a Facebook. Why would I want to make a Twitter account to? Dude...you don't need an account to read them. Try it! It just takes me to the home page..... You have to wait. Sometimes it takes a while to load; I've had similar issues in the past. Why would I need to look when I have you to do it for me? No worries; I was just letting you know that you could see Pete's Twitter without making an account. He jumps merrily between the furious and the ridiculous, depending on the questions he's getting and the mood he's in as a result. Good times!
