  1. Any hint or tip is appreciated. I gotta start from the beginning and i learned that u can easily srew up your install. So therefore i got to gather all intel i can get. So please send me links to guides and well endorsed mods.
  2. That sounds good. And somewhat suprising cause i never had Mod Organizer 2 on my radar....
  3. Hi folks, i played F3, F4 and NV thousands of hours. Modded to the max which had my pc smoking. Sometimes not very stable but i was satisfied. But that is years ago and now i wanna start over again. There are simpy no decent games out there which have such an atmosphere. And that's the problem. I have to build up a New Vegas install from scratch and simply dont remember how to do it right. Starting with which mod manager to use. NMM or Vortex? And i need a VERY detailed guide how to prepare NV and (at best) a guide which mods to use. Any of your help and patience is greatly appreciated!
  4. Damn! This is completely new to me. Thanx for the info
  5. Guess you're right. But doing all those settlements all over again is a serious pain in the ass.......
  6. Thank you for the info! btw.... Merry X-Mas
  7. Sounds logical. But the experience you gain is based on type and level of your opponent. Therefore some kind of counting or measurement still exists. But i must admit this would be a nasty job.
  8. I'm going to finish my first playthrough within the next days (thanx to winter holidays) But after cleaning out my actual mod list and beefing up my rig (got myself an EVGA GTX 1080ti SC2 Hybrid Gaming - holy s#*!! This one is feaking awesome!) i want to start a new game. But i don't want to build up all my settlements again. It would be perfect to start a new game and simply have all those tasks and mission set to zero again. I know there are some console commands but i fear they will screw up the game. Any chance of solving this without bad side effects?
  9. One of the big points of FO3 (and F:NV) are the statistics. Seriously. Seeing how long one has played is funny but far more interesting is to see how many enemies one has killed. Creatures, humans, etc... Is it possible to create a mod making all this visible in FO4?
  10. Played around a few month and i'm still not satisfied the way Bethesda managed the sandbox option/mode within the companion module. Problem is that i do have several very cosy player houses. I want to stay my companions in some of the houses and not in that damn wrecked settlements. Even if they look pretty decent (using some good blueprints). Is there a way (or mod) to handle this? Maybe it's not released, but might be soon? Anyway, thx for your help
  11. Could be the water reflection settings in your ini files (including prefs.ini). You should try them out.
  12. Gotta give it a try then. Actually i'm thinking of some player home mods i'm using in my current playthrough.
  13. Never tried that option. Gotta admit that (shame on me). I thought using this will make them go away (really go away!). Do i have an option to send them to one of my player homes?
  14. Until now there are almost no interesting or beautiful female companion available. At least according to my taste  Something like Willow in FNV would be perfect. But that is not the biggest issue worrying me. Until now there is no mod available that offers me a little bit more of control of my companion. Behavior, levelling, specialization, etc... Or (my favorite) "Dismiss, but hang around". Man do i miss this  Leaving a companion behind at my home they look like statues. Does anyone know if a mod like this is "in the making"?
