  1. It is checked to 1. First time I've been through that file, but I guess thats part of the learning experience. Anyone else have any ideas? I know I'm not the only person with this problem for this mod, as its discussion page is full of similar complaints, but the maker does not respond. Is it possible the maker deliberately made it so, since Bittercup is wearing "white makeup"?
  2. I'm fairly new to modding, and about the most I've done so far is primitive texture reskinning, but I have one I'd like to see if I can do through the GECK, possibly. I have one of the Bittercup appearance mods, and it gives her a really nice face, but it is much paler than her body color. How would I go about manipulating her body's appearance attributes, like flesh tone, through the GECK, without changing the face? Would this require a whole body mod, using the face? Or can this be done a bit more simply? Personally, I like the pale face color, and would rather cause the body to match the face, but if it can only be done the other way, I'd live. Thanks in advance for any input.
  3. This looks like a valuable command, but I am not sure if it is what I am looking for. Suffice to say, my example is this: I have one of the Bittercup mods. It has an option that converts her home from Big Town to my Mini-Hideout in Springvale. She now, when not following me, lives there, using the bed, walking around and the like. The objects are still my own. I would like to add more companions to this or other locations in a similar manner, without causing the ownership to change. At this point, it sounds like I would have to mod the game to do this, but I was hoping for find out for sure before I did it one way or another. Thanks for your response, either way.
  4. I love Fallout. It is fair to say, that as a person disappointed in the last 10 years of games, Fallout is tied with Bioshock as my favorite game of the decade. That being said . . . It is single handedly the buggiest game I have ever played (possibly short of Fable 2). I played 3 full length playthroughs on the Xbox (~100 hours each), and in each game had no less than 3 dozen freezes. I've had missing characters, dying/vanishing quest related people, items of importance that refused to spawn, and no end of other such trouble. I just now bought it on the PC, and I hate to say but its even worse. I've had, in less than 2 weeks, a good 30 freezes, as well as a save I had to backtrack from because no matter what I did it would freeze the next time I saved. Some days the game refuses to load until I reset. Yesterday, the menu theme was carrying over into gameplay. I love this game, I really do, but I wish it were a little more dependable.
  5. I recently encountered a few mods which allowed me to reset an NPC's "home" wherever I pleased. Now, I thought I saw something in the command console phrases which would do the same, but I can't find it now. Is there a simple way to reset a character's "home" to my desired location, or does it have to be a mod?
