  1. Maybe a save game is the way forward, but it deletes any immersion accrued in your own game. Hope someone comes up with a "fix"...
  2. Bump. Has anyone heard of a "fix" to the problems believed to be caused by "Don't call me settler"? My game, too, has recently bugged. Settlers cannot be assigned or moved, if you've moved the crops then they do not "find" them, newly spawned settlers do not get the "trade" dialogue option, etc, etc. Its a real shame, because I was just enjoying a period of remodelling some of my old settlements. There had been no recent changes in my game - no new mods, no huge settler recruitments, no quest activity - it all just stopped working. Deactivating various settlement or NPC mods makes no difference. I gather from t'web that this is all likely due to the defunct DCMS mod. I'm not criticising it - I think it was a really excellent mod that enhanced my game. I really hope the author eventually comes up with a new version. In the meantime, is there any way to fix these issues, or is it a case of scrapping that game altogether? (which would probably be the end of F4 for me; life is too short to run around after Preston and get to level 160 all over again!)
  3. Repair Sanctuary Roofs however is not one of them, since it's only a mesh/texture replacer. But I bet, all of you use some mod that replaces the houses with their prewar versions or expands the settlement build area or makes other worldspace cell edits. The only other mods I use are the one that reduces generator & turret noise, and one which makes lights a bit brighter. Neither of those do anything radical, and my game has otherwise been perfectly stable until now.
  4. Well, I followed your procedure - and it worked! I won't pretend that i understand how it works, but it does seem to have salvaged and reinstated the list of scrapped items. Thanks very much for your input!
  5. I've been using Spring Cleaning 2.05 for settlement tidy up. Today, when I start the game (any save) I get the launch message that some save data is missing. In game, everything that I ever scrapped has been reinstated. I now have a nightmare of all this rubbish now being clipped by the structures and objects i have since built! The mod itself appears to have ceased working, as scrapping options do not appear in workshop mode. I thought about deleting and re-installing the mod, but I didn't want to do anything that might delete whatever file keeps the record of the scrapped items. Is there any way to delete and reinstall this mod in a way that will save and re-activate the (I presume) file containing list of of items scrapped?
