I'm looking for the most complete single texture mod for SE I don't want to faff on too much with my load order and it's not a high priority that my Skyrim be pretty just get bothered by the 2D on the trees, Hair and the rope on pillars/fences -
If anyone wants to help me get started there are a few things I wanted to know/could use some help with as I'm unfamiliar with AE apart from putting some hours into it before deciding I really needed mods Which Mod manager should I pickup? why should I choose that one over the alternative? what tutorials are available for it? Any pitfalls I should be aware of in general? there are many once great mods but I've been gone a while and download(s) don't always reflect how good something is in present day I will be installing SKSE as I'm familiar with it and the tutorials I've seen are very familiar Everybody Needs Boris (ENB) I never asked as to why this was necessary in the past but seeing as I'm looking to understand what I'm doing more these days It'd be nice to get some elaboration I think I heard cam and seb once say it was a performance thing that ALSO allowed for things like depth of field and better lighting? I can't find anything that suggests I need to make a custom ini for AE? If you've read this far I'm very grateful in an ideal world I'm looking to be informed of how something works as opposed to just getting it working but I am here to play a video game at the end of the day any replies greatly appreciated

Hey all nvm I didn't have a Fallout4Custom.ini added it now we're gucci except for this new behaviour where mods aren't enabling via Vortex and I have to open the launcher go into mods and enable it -

So I recently reinstalled this game, got out of the vault made a vanilla save and closed the game. "Time for the mods I thought" so I did my usual gameplay changes but then I got to the Environment category and that got me thinking; Some of the most Endorsed/downloaded mods were last updated 5 years agothere are some that are more recently updatedimages aren't exactly reliable on the basis that ENB and best case scenario images are on the mod pagesI know the answer is TECHNICALLY try them all and reload to see what works best for you... But I'm a working adult and time is very much at a premium, what're you all using? Has anyone dropped the older mods in favour of newer ones?

External cell, I don't want to touch the rubble in the generals quarters blocking the quest start, you remember how you get into the armory from the tunnel? well at the top of the stairs you face right you see the big door but further right is a blocked off corridor and that is unscrap-able what I want is to first make that scrap-able (probably by exporting the section to a modelling software, replicating it with an open tunnel then just jam ordinarily scrap-able stuff into it) and then the bastion in the southwest that is covered in rubble i want to do something similar as all the other bastions have something in them stands to reason then that if the rubble were scrapped there's be space under there. These are my only objectives otherwise rebuilding the walls isn't on my agenda. Depending on what I end up with by the end I may or may not publish it -
So I've opened the game for the first time in a while and as I'm modding the game I'm hoping for a castle wall mod that doesn't restore the walls but cleans out the rubble so we can access that one bastion and open up that buried tunnel that remains in the armory section after you gain access to it... Such a mod does not exist, so in the pursuit of personal growth I wanna learn to mod, I downloaded and opened the creation kit drew alot of parallels to modelling software and made my way to the castle easy enough with the cell view to begin trying to chop it up... and I can't do much to the copy I made of the walls... Will I have to export to another program? Which program do I use? HALP!

Can we have a mod that applies the effects of gun fu to al other weapons

I've been using scrap everything to clear castle debris but the debris blocking access to the bastion and the tunnel that leads out of the armory still remain. Has anyone made a mod that enables us to clear that out building our own patch work walls doesn't bother me I've warmed up to the idea over time but not being able to access that ONE BASTION and not being able to clear that ONE TUNNEL is bothering me. I know repairable sanctuary works on the premise of replacing the existing houses with substitutes could the bastion and armory also be replaced while keeping the missions intact by utilizing the parts of the original asset or by just isolating those particular piles of debris to then be scrappable

All the castle mods I've seen do too much. Has anyone JUST restored the walls such that the passageways inside work instead of being blocked up (looking at you armory), there are mods that get pretty close but they block entry from the diner and redesign the existing layout for some reason.

I know there is a mod that uncaps the special stat so you can just level indefinably but I couldn't find anything that takes instead uncaps the special stats when it comes to item bonuses, as I understand it the cap is eleven if you get the bobble head or exceed 10 via equipment So can we get a mod that leaves leveling alone and allows you to exceed the cap via item bonuses much like the "No Power Armor Strength Cap" but for all the stats?

I like that it made an armor for a faction that is like a side grade to what they usually have are there any other mods that add side grades of existing equipment to the leveled lists like different weapons that use the same ammo type or armors that output the same kind of damage/resist but just add a bit more variety to the loot and the look of the game and everyone in it

Reasoning Unlimited followers does what it's supposed to it's a great mod but with a full party you're a bit of a beast a little too stronk a little too easy, besides that I've always felt like Lone Wanderer just doesn't have a place in the game outside of role-play but even then I couldn't ever justify it in my mind so what if you could get all the companions AND earn it in the process by flexing that charisma and bringing your companions together setting aside their differences for you. Perk idea Replace Lone Wanderer with a perk called Party Leader that allows for more companions Rank 1 Allows Dogmeat can be taken with all other companions. Rank 2 Allows additional companions that have amicable relationships with one another. Rank 3 Allows Companions that do not have amicable relationships with one another so long as YOUR relationship with them is high enough. Rank 4 Allows you to negate Companions disapproval of your actions. If your relationship with a party member falls to a point where a they cannot tolerate any ONE in your party they will leave until your relationship with them is improved by doing things this way there's still a game where the companions are concerned and incentivizes getting rank 4 so as to make maintaining your party easier. As someone who can't create mods I don't know what technical difficulties you'd encounter if you were to undertake this but from what mods exist for fallout 4 and the nature of them namely "unlimited followers", "Everyone's Best Friend" and "no negative affinity and no affinity cooldown" I really hope bits of all these can be brought together to make this possible
