Personally, graphics can be great and fun to look at but they don't make the game. For me it's the story that attracts my attention no matter what the graphics are like. I enjoy some really really old games that have pixels but that doesn't bother me at all; if the story is good, to me, then I'll play it. But again it is all personal preference though I do wish people wouldn't try a game just cause they didn't like the look of the graphics.

A female Khajiit, Sisikat. She's been my first character that I've always started with so why break with tradition. She'll be a thief and I'll probably explore around a bit, do some side quests before attempting the main quest. Eventually I'll make a char for each race.

Me: I'm the Listener not a healer. BIG difference. Here let me show you. *kills NPC*

I've also just installed OBMM, that might take me a while to figure out. I know this probably isn't the place to ask this but I figured since you all have been so helpful that I'll just ask. When I'm playing one char and I decide to play one of my other ones my game crashes. I've been having to exit and re-launch if I want to load another or any save, unless I do quick load. Any ideas? AH! I use to get that ALL the time! It's a bug in oblivion overall, I recommend you download the Crash preventer which fixes a lot of the faulty lines of code in Oblivion. It makes the sound of a message popping up on your computer when it prevents a crash, and if you experience lots of crashes that aren't mod related with it installed you can send the author of the Preventer the Crash Log and they'll release an updated version with them all fixed! Here's the link: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22282 It's gotten rid of 80-90% of my crashes! it needs OBSE too! :D I started getting the crashes after I had installed a few mods, mostly after the Mannimarco Resurrected. I will install that crash preventer though and see if that helps.

Okay so all I had to do to install OBSE is copy four files into my Oblivion directory then launch obse_loader to start Oblivion now? Seriously? That's it but that is so easy.

Then could you please give me the link for both?

Is OBSE and OBMM really worth getting? And is it safe for my computer or will it mess anything up? Will it mess Oblivion up, make it slower/faster, what? Is converting my mods to OMOD format better? Does all this make installing mods easier and make them run smoother?
