I have been downloading and attempting to try mods and Im downloading them through vortex, I am making sure to follow tutorials and that all files are on the correct drives, they are enabled and deployed, all extensions installed and enabled but none of them seem to work, I have tried different mods Elden ring, Fallout New Vegas, Bayonetta and they either won't show up or in Fallout New Vegas's case crashes the game, (even after I downloaded the 4gb patch), not sure what I can do other than try more games and see if I can get a mod to work. if anyone has any tips or ideas to help it would be much appreciated, thanks.

the game works fine when I uninstall it but when I try to reinstall, it keeps crashing while trying to launch the game, I keep getting the message that there is a "invalid tool" when I do install the script extender but not sure how to fix that.

I tried to mod Bayonetta recently and it wont work, I have followed all the tutorials and instructions when installing, made sure it was enabled and all the files were on the right drive, and even tried to change the location of the mods to the same partition as the game, still wont work in-game, I have made a report which I will attach as a file, but I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this, if it's the mod itself or something else, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
