Crashes after New game (game of the year)

Hello, I can tell you that other peoples saved games will work on other PC's regardless of where it comes from. As long as it is not corrupt and contains all the necessary information then it will work, hence why there is a category called "Saved Games" on the Nexus. The crash is probably due to the save coming from a person who had mods that you dont have running at the time when they saved. This means some of the files the save is meant to load are not there causing the game to crash, my advice would be to get a different one :thumbsup: Hope this helps! Thanks, Jcro25 :nuke: -
Hello, I can tell you that your problem will most probably be caused by one of the many many mods your running, normally delayed speech is caused by a poor performance PC however given you specs this is clearly not the case. I don't think its anything to do with your drives either as repeated speech is caused by the game. Your best bed would be to disable a chunk of mods at a time and run the game each time to see if the error goes until you have no mods running. (don't disable your FNV DLC'S or the FNV.ESM they will not be the cause of it. If that doesn't work then start a new game and see if the problem is still occurring. Failing this re-install the game. Hello your best bet would be to run FNVEdit And run the error detection tool. If you are unaware of how to do this then watch a few videos, its pretty simple and a very useful tool. If you don't want to do this then you can do it the manual way (Presuming the problem is a mod) disable all of the mods and then enable one at a time running the game each time until you find the mod causing the problem. :excl: this will be very time consuming if you have a large mod list. Hello, I had this problem a few years ago for Fallout 3. My solution was installing it to a different location instead of the default. I decided to install it to my Documents in a folder called Fallout 3. A friend of mine also experienced this problem his solution was to create a new account :wallbash: Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 are both amazing games but I wouldnt go that far to get them to work. Anyway dont edit the INI file if you don't know what your doing you will really mess the game up and that will have no effect weather the game crashes or not. Make sure all Video cards weather they be NVIDIA or AMD etc are updated to the latest version and the same with the game. If the game is on a CD then make sure its compatible with your type of OS and make sure your running the latest version. If the game was downloaded from Steam then re download it, there have been cases in the past where people dont have all the necessary files. I hope this solves your headache! Hello, if you want to get rid of the textures you have added to the data folder then simply delete the "Textures" folder this will only delete the textures that YOU have added once this folder is removed I advice to toggle Archive Invalidation off and then back on. Hello, this may sound stupid but 80% if the time it does work. Get a fatman and blow yourself up ( Doing this resets the cells and some other technical stuff). Hello I am trying to finish the new version of my mod Searchlight airport NCR but there is a major issue with one of the terminals I have added. The terminal Im having problems with does the following when you click "open": Opens a gate enables some sounds like a alarm etc enables some NPCS Everything goes as plan when the file is an ESP but as soon as its turned into an ESM pressing "open" does nothing! I have been trying to solve the problem for hours now I have tried renaming the items that the terminal enables and creating a brand new terminal but still no luck! I have been working on a mod for the past year and been trying to work out how to make a script that can enable a NPC or item a few days after a quest or when an NPC has been killed. Ideally I would like the script to enable the NPCs about 3 days later if thats possible? I have tried doing the following but none have worked :/ scn NPCEnablerScript Begin OnReset (Load, GameMode) if GameDaysPassed >= 2 NPC1REF.Enable END as you can probably tell I am a complete amateur when it come to scripting any help on this would be appreciated Thanks in advance, Jcro25

Just so you know I am running my own weapon damage realism mod that edits many weapons but I have no touched or changed a single setting to do with VATS. However when I do enable my mod the bug happens for me :wallbash: On the wiki It is a known bug, however It is not a problem with my game as when my mod is deactivated the bug goes, I cant simply delete the mod and make a new one as it took me hours to make! (I have tried starting a new game but the problem still occurs) If someone could please tell me what I have done wrong in my mod or what the problem could be it would be much appreciated, I have been trying to fix this problem for days now :confused: Thanks in advance, Jcro25

Hey thanks for the reply! Yeah I have tried it with the "No lown level processing" box ticked and unticked but they still will not come out of the interior? Any other suggestions? -
Hello. Been trying to fix this problem for months now, as you already know I am having problems with adding Al packages to NPC's which require them to go in an exterior and to come out after a certain period. All of the Navmesh around the building is correct and so is the interior navmesh. Here is a more detailed description about what the problem is: When I give any NPC an Al Package which requires them to go into an interior and then back out after a certain time. The NPC's will never leave an interior when your in an exterior unless you wait a hour or go into the interior and then they will be right by the door an leave as soon as you get in. Also this happens when your in an interior. They will never enter unless you do the same as above^^ However when in An Exterior they will walk to the door of the interior and will enter. This is the same as when in an interior they can be seen leaving but never seen entering. :wallbash: If anyone has any suggestions, solutions or fixes then please help me (: Thanks in advance, Jcro25.

If I drop a mine from my inventory (Item) It stays but when I arm a frag mine and drop it (Projectile) it disappears after going in an interior and then coming back out??? EDIT: If you thing about it, the frag mine when armed is not the same as the frag mine in you inventory as in the GECK it is classed as a projectile. Am I correct in thinking this?

Noticed the other day that the frag mines I layed on the floor near primm disappeared after a day? Is there anyway to extend the time the frag mines stay for in the geck?

Whoaa Thats a huge amount of mods you have running. Have you tried creating a merged patch for all your mods to work smoother with one an other? Also try reloading an earlier save that wasnt too long ago. If the problem doesn't happen then you have either installed a mod recently that is not compatible with another. My best advice would be to disable all mods and then load the game. If the problem has gone then you know it is a mod conflict. to solve which mod it is I would recommend enabling about 5 mods at a time and then launching the game to see if the problem has gone. Keep doing this until you get to the mod(s) that are causing the problem. It will take a while to do but it will save you from re-installing the game. EDIT: Im pretty sure it may be something to do with RFCW there is a new version out that fixes crashes due to two of the esp's conflicting with one another cant remember which ones they were though. This is a known bug and I think has been fixed in Community bugfixes also have you tried waiting for a few hours or reload the save a few times?
