For starters, I don't use Vortex, I still use NMM because it's just the tool I grown most attuned to and the fact that I haven't touched Skyrim in forever. So everything that I have is from forever ago and I only just now did one big update session on it. I refused to get the newer mod manager because I prefer this program. I am answer how this will answer the first few questions related to Vortex or if this is even the correct area to request support. I do have a good 151 mods installed, though not all of them are really hardline content-adding mods. To be straight, my game isn't crashing, freezing, melding the aetherial plane together ect. The game itself runs very well and just fine with the way my rig is set up, I'm just having trouble finding what mod exactly is causing the conflict with a specific new vampire overhaul I'm attempting to use. I'm aware Sacrosanct and Better Vampires cannot cross streams, though BV has a series of mods that don't affect the PlayerVamprire quests and variables, and only make harder level list vampires and new cells/quest expansions. I use BV NPCs and BV Coldhaven with Sacrosanct because the two mods are standalone and do not touch any overhaul. So my main woe is the fact it keeps giving the "playervampirequestscript and/or dlc1playervampirechangescript scripts have been modified by another mod" "loose scripts in folder" error. I have no idea where, when, or how since most the mods I touched did not do anything directly to that content. I did however remove the main overhaul Better Vampires with the bat file provided and completely deleted it, though I have my doubts it worked or how I can tell if it's really gone since I still use Brehanin's mods. Slight update, I managed to tear open a batch file and cleanly install BV. It’s working now and all that’s left is fixing the graphical error on my SSE.

So I got a rather strong computer that can handle a lot of games so I decided to mod both Skyrim and SSE. I modded them around the same; one being NSFW oriented while the other being the opposite with more of a EnaiSon overhaul focus since I'm usually torn between using his vampire overhaul or BE. Having two games I naturally split the choices. The game runs and plays fine though I came across two cruical errors of a totally seperate instance. For Skyrim Special Edition, I ran into a graphical error where my eyes, no matter what patch I put on it; would be sunken and missing on any humanoid character that was NOT a beast race. It looks like so: http://i68.tinypic.com/e9b6za.jpg That's it for SEE. No matter what I stuck in to fix these eyes they just won't budge. So I'm entirely at a loss of what to do with it. I attached the load order for reference in case I screwed up majorly somewhere and missed it. Now onward to Oldrim; it suffers no eye errors or anything that insane but the Better Vampires 8.2 mod seems to not be functioning correctly. (Ect. Not counting how many people I bitten or giving me my drainining spell and even registering my vampire stages if I do in fact do feed.) Everything else in that horribly depraved and evil setup works without question; again I'm not wise enough to find the conflict or issue. On an obvious note I do have all the DLCs. (Who doesn't?) I'm using the last version of NMM because I'm stubborn and refuse to change to what I hardwired myself to learn to use for they years I've played this game. I'm quite certain the game version itself is the latest possible; since I freshly installed them two days ago. I'm using the latest SKSE and SSE64 for the respective games. I use LOOT and have nothing but the typical false-positive warnings of 'clean this up it's dirty' edits. SSE hardly looks different to me, honestly you should stick to vanilla until a way to make old mods compatible with SSE is possible.

This isn't a game breaking issue but more of a general question of the odd behaviors of the NPCs. I fiddled around with factions in the settings so if I use this mod to enthrall someone, they are mine and I longer exist in their factions they were in while alive. So I start dabbling around and infecting bandit chiefs and having them kill each other like the sadist I am but when it came to a daedric quest it all started to spark my curiosity. So I kill Logralf, get my my mace, quest fine and dandy. But that wasn't enough for me, I wanted Logralf to serve Molag Bal as a child of the night, as Lore-wise he should have been made as one to serve Molag Bal in my opinion. What better way to deface his rival then to corrupt him? So I done the deed, he rose, but he would not serve me as a follower. I didn't get heartbroken over not getting a level 12 old man, what was odd is the fact that he got up and left. So I stalked him as he left the abandoned house and odd enough he went to the Warrens and just stared at a novice locked door. I popped it open for him and he walks in and stands there with his arms crossed. Does the mod add NPC behaviors for risen vampires? Does Logralf have a hidden schedule USEP didn't take time to look at by raising him via console? I'm curious and want to know. Wall of Text Haters: Does Better Vampires and Better Vampires NPCs modifications add schedules or new behaviors to the undead?

No, I did not even download special edition. I'm still using the old Skyrim.

I'm using the correct ones and ran all the launchers to see if that was the case, still not writing save data.

I used SKSE but I recently wiped all my mods for a clean install. I had the same saving issue, no matter how I did it, I could not find a save on my PC. It says it saves, does a short pause, but once its done, nothing, not even autosaves, quicksaves, or console command ones.

The problem isn't folder settings, I just now confirmed it. ( as I was drawing a new rose anyways.)

The location of my Saves is slightly different, it's: This PC >OS (C:) > Users > Raven > Documents > My Games > Skyrim > Saves Could that factor anything? I don't think I have a libraries..

Yes, they are and yes everything is I the right spot both inis and Saves. It`s 334GB free of 444GB. Its not writing them, I checked via PC searches/scans.

I need help, this is attempt day two.

Hello, I'm fairly new to forums but I'm not that new to modding. I recently decided I wanted to return to Skyrim with all this Skyrim Remastered hype, in hopes the community was not well dead. But to avoid a wall of text of why I am here and playing in 2016 I will cut to the problem. The issue: The game simply won't save anything in the Saves folder, it disappears into Narnia like I never pressed F5 or Create New Save in the game or issued a command to save via console. Even natural auto-saves don't show. It's literally nowhere on my PC. What I tried so far: My Skyrim game, both modded, clean installed, and pretty much every other version or alteration of Skyrim folders, properties and file ownership claiming attempts result to my game not saving a shred of content. The game does it's typical autosaves, console saves, setting saves, quicksaves, you name it, but no matter what I do or change I cannot get a new file. I jumped forum to forum, some people had the same issue but when I tried their solutions of changing it or making it so it's not in the state of read-only, nothing. I know my PC is capable of making new data because I have other games that save just fine and I recently rolled a new character and saved her appearance via a mod. So I concluded that I have space and that there is something I'm missing or doing wrong. I downloaded a small command prompt button that lets me 'Take Ownership' of files too, but that also did not help. Pretty much everything a typical 'Skyrim will not save' post content that I saw did not work for my case. I done like 4-5 clean installs. Pretty much purged everything, including mods. I done a good 13 restarts, deleted Window's 10 OneDrive, and disabled Steam cloud saving on this game. Things that may or may not add to this: I have the latest NMM, every time I launch it, it'll give me the Missing INI. warning, I slam on the 'Okay' dialogue and move on knowing I have an INI but an empty Saves file due to me being unable to make any, fully able to download mods and all that hoo-ha. NMM works but it gives me that warning all the time. My file locations: My saves are located in the typical My Games>Skyrim>Saves along with the prefs INI in the same folder. My game is steam associated so it's C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim. I have all the DLCs. I'm NOT using remastered, I'm using the Skyrim I have will all the DLCs. I'm using the latest version of SKSE and I have BOSS but only use it when I add in new mods or have an issue. BOSS tells me my load order is fine and I really don't think this is a mod issue at all because I can save and play just fine a year or two ago.
