  1. My advice would be to check the mods most recently updated before you used them for your setup. It looks to be a pretty rare issue that I cannot find anything older on than this thread. My money is on some recent mod patch causing the issue. It's a bit suspicious that you'd find nothing at all about a bug as big as this but since March 2019 there's enough incidents to fill a thread. New issue. I've been putting my playthrough off for now because Lonesome Road is quite frankly unplayable.
  2. Thanks for the prompt reply. This isn't my first rodeo, I've been at it since Morrowind, so I did not touch the game masters. Just quick cleaning and merged patch was enough, the only thing I had to touch in FNVedit were 2 NPCs causing crashes with NCR Overhaul outfits in the Mccarran terminal, and the LoD building took some work. I'm 99% sure it's the exact same issue OP had, it's not the presence of Tunnelers that triggers it but the growling audio cue unburrowing. My prime suspect is CCSP, so I'll kick that out, rebuild a merged patch and report back when I get around to it. Edit: Worth mentioning that any Tunneler has a chance of causing this, so it affects all underpassses and several bunker interiors. Edit2: Same issue without ILO or CCSP. Seems like a script issue, it always happens when you "trigger" the Tunnelers. Hence sneaking past through the roof/wall with tcl works, even with them already spawned in the cell. Since NPCs load with the cell, it would crash on entering that cell if it was some refID problem with the NPC or its inventory, unless I'm misunderstanding how the engine works. It also happens in exterior cells. It's fine if I engage a surfaced tunneler, but if they burrow and resurface or I trigger them while burrowed, I get the slowdown/crash. Sorry for all the edits, I'm figuring this out as I go.
  3. I'm running into the same problem. Had to use tcl and sneak along the roof of the tunnel to avoid either instant freezes or slowdown to 0 fps, followed by a recovery or freeze. I'm runninga lot of mods, but everything has been cleaned, merged and been running like a charm for 50h+ before hitting Lonesome Road. Load Order: NVSE settings (sans overrides):
  4. Hey guys. I'm new to modding FNV, but managing to run a customized set of 30+ mods smoothly in Skyrim - so I think I know the basic stuff. I got the Ultimate Edition on Steam and installed several mods on top, but am not sure at all of the load order. Here is what I have right now: http://i.imgur.com/QKxktzO.jpg?1?8310 Now, yesterday it all started up fine, but I got huge fps drops switching 3rd/1st person, leaving the PIPboy, going outside and even on fast 360degree turns. I also noticed I only get character shadows. Today I tried deactivating EVE and editing the shadow draw options for grass, static, torches and self in the default.ini - but it seems I got the wrong .ini or wrong options. What .ini do I need to change and what edits am I looking to make? So now I only have actor shadows and a game that still stutters (PIP, enemies, occasionally while just walking), although it's gotten much better without EVE. Then, why is EVE giving me such a huge fps drop? It barely makes the picture look crisper and apart from that adds ugly neck-seams typical for retextures. How would I best go about making the game run smoothly? Did I miss an important mod or .ini fixes? Would really appreciate one of you seasoned Fallout modders helping me out! EDIT: Hardware for reference 4x3.4GHz i7 6GB DDR3 1800MB GTX295
  5. Kudos for that mod suggestion, mate. Thanks!
  6. They didn't use to attack me, now they do. It makes sense, I just wasn't used to it. About the feeding, how do I do it? I can notice some UI invisble in the background, my shout hotkey gives my followers a buff, but I can't select anything. I know the Dawnguard vampire menu so I expected the same for werewolves. Did I mess my menu up with a mod or is there none?
  7. It's been ages since I last played as a werewolf, way before Dawnguard. So now I have a perk tree. How long does it take to get one perk point? I've killed at least 10 enemies as a werewolf now and gotten none. Also I was never introduced to any tutorial and advanced UI like the vampire quest line has. Can't open inventory, can't open my magic menu, can't see my werewolf bindings and haven't got a favorites menu. Every time I shapeshift, all my armor is unequipped. Is this normal now? Can I change it? Also I don't recall all guards turning aggro when you switch to werewolf form. Is this too normal now? I have SKSE and SkyRe active, but uninstalled Tales of Lycanthropy because I thought the mod was causing above "issues"... So, can anyone help a shield brother out?
  8. Thank YOU too for helping the community! Just check the above post. I have also mixed in the Nexus mods SkyMoMod 8, Lore Friendlier Replacers, Quality World Map, Cloaks of Skyrim, Alternate Start and UFO (uninstalled Fixed Followers Lite). Starting a new game works just fine, even though all other mods were installed via the Workshop. This is worth mentioning since many players either only use NMM and Nexus mods OR the Workshop - with WB and BOSS you can mix them happily. I will let you know if I run into more problems, if you'd like screenshots or load orders, just PM me.
  9. Thank you, will get back to you on if that worked. I export a clean save or start a new hero when I've made major mod changes. EDIT: The culprits seemed to be SoS (Game went to loading screen -> blackscreen after installing instead of crashing before loading screen) - and Real Wildlife. After removing thes I could play properly. Just to make sure I uninstalled the 3 quests mods. But they were in the correct load order and compatible (one author too). Is anyone using Sea of Ghosts and his other mods successfully? And can you recommend a different, working Wildlife mod? WB should patch the leveling lists, so Enhanced Highlevel Gameplay shouldn't cause issues.
  10. Yes. All mods have been updated over the workshop once with the launcher. I could ofc make another clean install and just use NMM for everything, but some mods aren't available here and I'd have to download huge amounts of data. I would have already tried that, but since I moved I have to share a DSL 6000 line with my flat mate. So that's not an option, really.
  11. It's been some time since I've had to post here. Right now I'm having more trouble running Skyrim with 40ish mods than a fully overhauled TES3/4 with tons of mods. That began with the change of the plugin loading system. If I recall correctly, NMM didn't work at first, so I switched fully to the Steam Workshop. Today, I tried again: - Clean Install with mods added via Workshop. - Ran BOSS. - Doublechecked if plugins and loadorder were synched. - Did NOT start via the Launcher but started SKSE directly. - After not being able to start a new game or load, I checked what the launcher had to say to that. It would deactivate half the mods and screw up the load order. - Resynched both files, deleted the DLClist added by the launcher. Still no luck. - Installed WryeBash, found several UDRs. Couldn't do anything about it, is there no TES5Edit? - Tried again with bashed patch. No luck. Am I just too stupid and missing something obvious? Files are read/write, plugins and load order match my BOSS log. Didn't change anything via WryeBash, just added the patch. No conflicts known to BOSS, only the UDRs WryeBash found. Nothing merged, etc. These are my mods, in order: This is what my WryeBash looks like: Please help me out here. Educated guesses welcome. Edit: I'm pretty sure this IS a load order or general mod conflict issue. It loaded fine with half the mods disabled via the normal launcher. I've been manually trying to figure out, where the problem is...seems it's not one mod but a combination.
  12. Just came across this because I decided to play Skyrim again (as a merchant, just gettin some immersion on, FYI) and saw the "Version: 1" tag in NMM. Came here to check. It's a damn shame this kind of drama haunts every internet community from time to time. What I'd like to know is if my 4.4 WIS will still work, especially with Monstermod and Deadly Dragons still being updated. Will modders avoid conflicts with the last up-to-date version or is my 4.4 old anyway?
  13. I'm having problems with optimizing the meshes. First of all, did you take all files in the .bsas? On overclockers.co.uk I was warned to just optimize the landscape files, characters and items could and would cause animation problems. Is this true? I installed Python 2.6 to C:\Python26, then Blender with user files in the installation folder, then PyFFI, leaving only Python 2.6 32bit and Blender for Python 2.6 32bit checked. I can run the batch and get output files, but after a while all python.exe processes except the idle one end and the console still displays, that pass 1 is running. This is the log I get, just posting the relevant part: I tried installing Blender to an own directory, to the Python26 directory, with user files in the directory, with user files in %HOME%. I also tried installing PyFFI in a separate folder. Nothing helps. After I get this error I need to reinstall the whole lot, or all 4 passes are shown to have completed successfully without any work done. What's happening? Win Vista 64 SP2 4x4 GHz i7 9 GB DDR3 2x GTX 295 Sufficient HD capacity Edit: This probably isn't relevant - The .bat with in/out files are on a different drive than Python, Blender and PyFFI.
  14. Thanks for the insight. If I manage to beautify my test install (hell, I'm not about to ruin my working modded one) without wrecking performance, I will post again. :D
  15. Hey, I'm running Oblivion with my EVGA GeForce GTX 295, which is basically 2 cards in 1 with 2x896MB DDR3 VRAM. If I want to mod my maps, I will have to choose the resolution depending on my VRAM. Meaning, if Oblivion only uses 896MB, because SLI is not being supported, I would have to get a 1024x1024 map instead of 2048 or 4069. Will I be fine with the big resolution maps or does Oblivion use less hardware than it should? Edit: And ofc it's supported, not "supportet". ;)
