  1. That's why I said it doesn't make sense at all in terms of lore~ Are you a modder? Please explain why it's hard to make. Who knows, maybe other modders will see your explanation and think "hey, I got a solution for that problem."
  2. So this is pretty much against the point of customizing your characters and actually roleplay, but the roleplay element in FO4 is mostly flavor anyway so let's get that aside. This idea came to me from old school RPGs, where you have several characters in your party but you only control one when not in battle. It came to me; why don't we create several characters for ourselves? Instead of having multiple saves with each having its own unique character, why not put all those characters in one save? That way you can play as all of your creations while keeping all the quests! What I'm thinking is some sort of character switcher in-game where you can have plenty of avatar characters, each with their own appearances and skills, and you can switch between them when you want. Finished with the blazing gunfight and want a genius armorer type? Just switch! Bored with the muscles on your Asian avatar and want to play as a slim Caucasian? Switch! This doesn't make sense at all in gameplay terms, or even in lore, other than perhaps your main character has developed several 'personalities' while on ice as part of vault experiment... But it could be really fun!
  3. Is it possible to make every character (the player, NPCs, enemies etc.) a little smaller in size, maybe 70-80% their original size? I noticed how in many action-adventure games, the environment is always disproportionately large compared to the characters, allowing larger range of movement and make the game feel less cramped. One example of this is in Batman: Arkham games, where (assuming batman+ears is 2m tall) even the lowest ceiling can reach 5-6m tall, and the doors are 3m tall. This also makes camera work very nice, since the camera has more room to move and you don't get stuck in a weird camera angle often. Of course, there will be many problem if this were to be done, like animation clipping among other things, but first I just want to know if this is even possible.
  4. Dummies already exist, they're called settlers. Just kidding lol, I also want to know if there is such thing.
  5. Is it possible to make the aim assist in the game not just nudge the reticle slightly to enemies, but have it track them at their center, GTA style? And yes I am playing with a controller, please don't bash :(
  6. Yes this please. I like to dress up my settlers to match their roles but I don't want to travel to every settlement just to count how many of what each needs, go to my home base, grab the gears, then go back to every settlement.
  7. I know, there has been several power armor rebalance mods out there, but what I'm suggesting is (hopefully) different from the others. What if to repair a power armor, you need to have a sufficiently high Armorer skill? Maybe at least level 2 Armorer so that you don't just level up once and be able to do repairs. So in the beginning of the game, you can hop into a power armor just fine, but if it gets too damaged, you need to find new parts if you want to keep the defense value high. Or just leave it where it is and carry on. And also, what if while inside power armor, you can't pick up small items? Which means that you can't pick things like ammo, stimpaks, or junk while in the heat of the battle (you can pick weapons up like usual, and you can still dismount and pick things up). Makes you feel really isolated from the world while in a power armor.
  8. So, like many other people, I like to play Fallout 4 in 3rd person mode. And while the combat is fine, picking up items feels like so much of a hassle. Most of the time the items in the reticle doesn't get detected even though they get detected the moment I switch to 1st person. It feels as if you have to look at a sweet spot at a specific distance to get the item detected. Other interactions like talking to people and opening doors are fine. Is there any way to fix this, so picking items in 3rd person would be like 1st person? Maybe through .ini tweaks?
