New Earth; Streets of Berlin; Abandoned apartment. Major Omarov steadies the crosshairs of his .270 Remington on the head of approaching Beckam. The Maor is well hid among boards and trash in the fifth story apartment, which was devastated by fire a few years ago. He slowly gets the pace of Beckam and is following his head with the crosshairs. Beackam walks behind a young couple in the streets of Berlin. He is starting to feel better. Beckam tells himself,"The sun is shining and its a rather warm day for this time of the year. I'll just find the US Embassy and get a way home from there. . . Hell, I'll also be safe there. Won't have all these damn Russians after me. The Major waits for the right moment, he doesn't want to mess up again. Valkov would surely have his head if he screwed up twice. As the couple and Beckam approach the corner of the street, the couple make a right turn and Beckam stops at the curb to wait for a passing car. Major Omarov squeezes the trigger and feels the recoil of the rifle. He lies his rifle down and looks down on the street. Teh sound of the gunshot still echoes between the buildings. Blood covers the sidewalk and Beckam's headless corpse lies lay motionless in the street. The couple dashes down the street, along with all other pedestrains that were witness to the horrific act. Many stand frightened and motionless. The Major stands and leaves his rifle. He walks out of the apartment and sees that Berlin police are aleady on the scene in just less than five minutes. He looks at the body and whispers to himself, "May god be with thee." New Earth; Old Chernobyl Site; Underground Bunker. A man enters Valkov's chambers. He salutes and says,"Sir, Major Omarov has assasinated Beckam. We are certain this time. Also, the European dealers have decided they will not sell . . . at least not to you." "What?! They won't sell. Them bastards." Valkov becomes furious. He walks around the room several times. "Sir, is there anything I can do?" "Yes set up a new account in your name. Wait a few weeks and we'll try again." "Yes, sir." "In the meantime, there used to be a weapon storage base in north Siberia. I want you to find out if it still exists." "Will do, sir." "And I want a full report in three days. If its still there get a map of the base, what it hides, and who works there. We'll also need some help shipping the weapons back here." "You want to get you a shipper as well?" "Yes, Luther. And that will do for today." The man leaves and Valkov sits down behind his desk and starts making plans for his next move.

:ooc: Apoligies, Peregrine. New Earth; Old Chernobyl Site; Underground Bunker. Valkov sits behind his desk in the well decorated room. He has ahd alot his antiques brought from his house to the bunker. He looks around,"Almost like home." Then a man enters the room with two large files and salutes. "At ease, Major." The man walks over and lies the files on Valkov's desk. "Sir, these are the inventory lists we got from two possible sellers. One is out of Europe and the other South America. We also have traced the bank account numbers they gave us and have each have got a substantial amount of capital. I believe they are genuine sellers and not fakes, sir. You'll also notice that the European seller sent along a list of vehicles and aircraft it has access to. The man I spoke with said, if you were willing to pay enough he could even get us a used German U-Boat that has been out of commision for some time. He also garranteed full product satisfaction. And if you want to field test any of the items, send word to me and I 'll inform the sellers." The man stands still and waits for a response. "Very good. I think we'll most likely buy from Europe. I don't want to pay excess shipping cost. And set up a field test date with him, and I'll give you list of what we want later. Also inform the dealer that we'll need more information concerning who they are and why they're going to sell. And concerning Mitchell. I don't think the Sovjets will hold on to him to much longer since they assume I'm dead, so I'll give you a second chance to . . . . kill him. Just keep it quiet, because if Aleksei finds out about it, he'll start suspecting something. Now you're dismissed, Major."The major salutes and leaves. Valkov starts to read all the fine print in the two files. New Earth; Prague; Second Ivanovitch Estate. Beckam lies in the bed staring at the ceiling. Many thoughts run through his head. Are they really helping me? . . . Are the going to kill me? . . . Why did Valkov try to kill me? . . . Finally, Beckam comes to the relization that it would be in his best interest to escape from the Sovjets and get back to the States. When he gets there he can go to the CIA and explain everything that happened. That he decides is what he'll do. Beckam slowly gets up out of the bed and sneaks over to the window. He can hear the two gaurds outside his door talking. He trys to open the window but it is locked from the outside. He looks around and finds a small stone statue. he grabs it and walks over to the door. He hides in the shadow. Beckam then kicks the small table near the bed over and the glass lamp on it hits the ground and shatters. The gaurds hear the noise of the fallen table and glass, so they rush in. The first gaurd to enter gets hit in the face by the statue and falls over onto his back, unconsious. The second on raises his weapon a moment to late, because before he can fire Beckam left foot kicks him in the throat. Beckam then slams the statue into the back of his head. The man falls onto his comrade unconcioues. Beackam listens and can hear men above him on the third floor running. He throws the statue through the glass, breaking it, and then runs and jumps from the second story out into a tree. He then scrambles out of the tree and dashes for the fence. Dogs chase after him, but before they get a chance to attack Beckam has already scaled the tall fence. Beckam then runs a few hundred yards into the woods and lies down in a shadow behind a large pine tree. He looks out and sees men running about with dogs, flashlights, and AKs. Beckam leaps up and starts a heavy sprint through the pines. After about twelve minutes, he has slowed to a jog. He comes out of the woods and finds a small paved road. He sees a vehicle approaching. He hides in the ditch and when it gets close enoguh he realizes it is just a truck with chickens on the back, so he leaps onto the back and lies down. The truck drives off toward Germany.

OOC> I'm sorry Peregrine. However, I don't see how using your character to read a file (which gives a short background of my character) and destroying that file. It affected nothing. Maybe me killing off a 'no-named' character was out/line, but the rest was, in my eyes, a minor reaction. New Earth; Old Chernobyl Site; Underground Bunker. Valkov walks down one of the long corridors of the bunker. The bunker was a secret project that was started by the KGB to be used as weapon hiding. The bunker was never completed because of the the fall of the USSR and after later forgotten. All the proof of its existence was burned with the other files in the KGB Headquarters. Valkov later took over the project and finished the bunker, his new safe haven. Are you sure this place is safe? And the air?"Valkov walks and has two men following him. "Yes sir, Lead walls and the air filtaration system is very effective." "Good work, Jacobi" Valkov turns to the other man as Jacobi walks off. "I want you send out a message to all weapon distributers in Europe. We have an oder that needs to be filled. Tell them we need an inventory list and give each of them 500,000 for the list." The man walks off and Valkov enters his quarters.

ooc>Sry, had to fix post to correspond with preceding one. New Earth: St Peterburg: Valkov Manor. Valkov falls and lies behind his desk. He hears the van speed off and then slowly stands. He sees that his attackers had missed him but had shot a hole clear through a large, antiquite mirror on his wall. There was just a small hole in the mirror, but the glass in the window had been shattered. "Good mirror. Then forces me into hiding oncemore for some time." Valkov walks over to the window and yells down at men below him. He then leaves the room and walks outside to a nearby waiting car. "They think I'm dead . . . well this most certainly can be used to my advantage. Driver, take us to the bunker." The car speeds off heading south into the night. Miles Away Sergie and his companion drive through the country roads and going back to Prague. "Well, the boss will be pleased. Valkov is dead. The other Russian grins. "Indeed he will Sergie. Indeed."

New Earth; Washington; White House. A man enters the oval office and tosses a small red folder down on the president's desk. "This is all we could find on Evan Mitchell, but I believe you'll find that it explains alot." The man leaves and closes the door behind him. Parke opens the folder and begins to read it. Parke turns through a few more pages of the file and then begins to read again: Parke then turns to the last page and reads that this file is the only file on Operation Turnover. Parke grins, "Such a pity, what us Americans do to fellow countrymen." He presses the red buzzer on his desk and asks for all files containing the name Mishkin Valkov. He then gets up and carries the Red File in his hand over to the fireplace. He takes one last look at the papers and then throws them into the fire. "No one ever has to know you lived." He opens the door to the office and brings the man that brought him the file back into the office. "Did you open that folde you brought me?" The man is a little hesitant."No Mr. President." The rookie begins to shake. "I think you're telling the truth, but I can't take the chance that you're lieing to me. Parke removes a silenced pistol from his side and fires two rounds into the young man's chest. The man turns white moments before he dies. He slowly falls down onto his back. Parke walks over and presses another button on his desk. Three men enter from a secret door near the closet and two of them pick the body up. Parke says to the remaining man, "Dispose of the body and call his family. Tell them he was a casualty of an assasination attempt . . . and he died protecting the President. Oh, and get this mess cleaned up ASAP."

ooc>sry for absence New Earth: Prague, Ivanovitch second estate. Beckam stands and begins to tell Ivanocitch of his past. "I tell you. I am Evan Mitchell. Your contact was misinformed. Only the highest ranking officers lnow of my mishap. Let me explain. Ten years ago, I and my platoon were performing a recon mission near Prague. Had to do with Russian politics and what not. Well, we had a target. I don't recall his name, but he wasn't the person we wanted to take over the role. Don't recall that either. Well, the point was to kill him and then the guy under him would take over. Think it had to do with the Russian Nuclear Board? Anyway, we were waited on the Russian border for him to cross. The moment arose and the mark had his wife and children with him. So I chose not to engage. When the Pentagon found out about that, they were ferious and blamed me for the whole lot. My team had to wait on the border for him to cross again. Six days we waited and nothing happened. Then he got the position and our mission failed. The KGB also found out about our little plot since we waited so long. Well, the US declined any knowledge of it and agreed to send in a force to kill us. We had no idea and then that sixth night three Blackhawks came rolling in and shot my entire platoon. I was the only survivor. Pentagon of course thought I was dead, and I wandered Russia until I was picked up by a small family and taken to Siberia. Where I spent the next eight years of my life. Thats the truth and if you dig deep enough you'll find the 'slaughter papers' signed by the president. I imagine Valkov had something to do with the whole mess, but who knows." Beckam lies back down on the bed and closes his eyes, as Ivanovitch leaves. "Goodnight Beckam, tomorrow we have got some traveling to do." He closes the door and turns off the light. Outside the hall he tells two gaurds to watch the door and not let Beckam out or anyone else in until the next morning. Then Ivanovitch takes off.

New Earth; South of St. Petersburg; Valkov Manor. Beckam enters the all too familiar room of the Valkov manor. Valkov sits behind his desk in a shadow. He has all the curtains closed. Beckam takes a seat on the opposite side of the desk. He looks down to see a bank account number written on a small piece of paper. "Listen, dont talk. You have succeeded in the assigned task and as promised in that account is one-hundred, fifty thousand US dollars. I want you to go. You will be taken and placed on a plane to be sent back to the Republic. I was just wondering one thing. Did you tell them my name? I really hope you did, because if you didn't then the mafia will be looking for you from the moment you step off of that plane." Valkov remains silent and waits for his response. "Of course, I didn't tell them. I didn't think I was suppose to. And I am not leaving. Because as you said the moment I get off of that plane, every damn man in the Russian mafia will be out to kill me! You owe me protection!" Beckam sits as Valkov stands and walks around into the light. He is about sixty years old, tall, slim and wears a military uniform adorned with metals. He holds a pistol in his left hand. "I'm glad. Otherwise you'd be dead. My name is General Mishkin Valkov. I'm ex-KGB, ex-military, and considered a radical anarchist among my friends . . . who I killed. I am glad you feel I owe you protection, for that I do. I have got great plans for the future of Russia. You, hopefully, will be a part of it. My second task for you is to lead my operation in Moscow. You're ride is waiting outside. I am glad to do business with you . . . Evan Mitchell." Valkov holds out his hand toward Beckam. Beckam shakes."Lets keep it Beckam. Mitchell was the good-hearted marine I killed many years ago. And I am glad to work with you." New Earth; On Route to Moscow. Beckam rides in a BMW 740i, which is the last car of three, on his way to Moscow. He sits in the back seat with a small Russian man and another sits in the passenger seat. They all have been having a good conversation in Russian. Beckam couldn't understand a word of it. After many moments of silence, the passenger tells the driver something in a peculiar tone. The car pulls over to the side of the road leaving the caravan. "Get out." The Russian beside Beckam has a pistol pointed at his head. Beckam opens the door and gets out of the car. He walks a few meters away from the car. The small Russian gets out, stands, and then fires one round at Beckam's head. Beckam's body falls to the ground. The Russian gets back into the car and they depart. Beckam lies motionless for a about ten minutes. Then he feels the back of his head and only has small scrape from the bullet. He timed his fall just right. "Seems right they'd try to kill me. Thats twice I've had to dodge a bullet. Probably get me the third time. Nevertheless, my only hope is with the mafia." Beckam reaches into the pocket of his coat and retrieves the cellphone he stole from the manor. He fiddles with the wires and chips. He then types a message that will be sent to every cell phone in Europe. The message is as follows: Beckam then crushes the phone and throws it into the snow. He then begins to walk south toward the city.

New Earth; Prague; The Ivanovitch Estate. Beckam spit blood into Alexei's face. "You can burn in hell before I tell you anything!" Alexei slowy wiped his face with a small, silk hankerchief. He then got a pecan cracker, which is a small, metal type plier used for breaking pecan nuts, and placed in around Beckam's left ring finger. "Who, where, why?" He smashed the finger and the crunching of bone is heard. Beckam's screams out in agony. And just as he did Sergei grabbed his mouth from behind to quieten him. After a couple of minutes Beckam began to talk."Ok, please . . . no more. If you checked my file . . . you'll of course . . . find nothing. Thats because . . . it is hidden deep in . . . the CIA archives. I used to . . . be a high ranking marine. But after an . . . incident. I was discharged and left in Siberia to rot. Check the name . . . Evan Mitchell. Thats my real name." Beckam looks at Alexei and sees that he is waiting for some real answers. "Well, I guess that my employer who I only know as Valkov found out about my incident. He then . . . kidnapped me and told me to find out about you . . . or he'd kill me. So I did. Then at the bar . . . he called me and told me to kill Boris. He said that you would call me and that they would trace the call. Oh, and he said something about the phone had a tracking bug in it." Alexei nods at Segei. "Oh, poo. You don't still have the phone do you?" "It's in the car, still." Ivanovitch says aloud. "IDIOIT!" Alexei screams. Outside the manor the car explodes and a gunfight erupts. Several trucks carrying men with green miitary uniforms file into the estate. The men begin to engage the Russian mafia. Explosions, screams, and gunshots can be heard from within the manor. "Kill him! Lets go." Alexie and all but one of his henchmen erupt through the door and are gone. The last man remaining pulls out a .45 caliber revolver and places it to Beckam's head. Just before the man pulls the trigger he is blasted across the room as a grenade goes off near the window. Two of Valkov's men enter the room and shoot the henchman twice in the chest. They then unbond Beckam and lead him outside and into a waiting truck. The truck speeds off into the night leaving the battle behind.

New Earth; Outside of Prague. Beckam stops the car on the side of the road. he sits atop a precipice that overlooks the city. "Beautiful. Just in time for the sunset." The sun is low in the sky over Prague. Beckam puts the car in gear and starts his desent down to the city. Four Hours Later Beckam hides the car in some brush behind an old shed. He decides he would draw too much attention cruising around the streets of Prague in a Viper. He reaches into the glove compartment and; retrieves some money and the cell phone. He then goes into the city which in this section of Prague it is quite abandoned. He spots a clothing store accross the street and checks his watch. "A quarter after eleven. Surely their closed." He appraoches the door of the store, looks for any witnesses, and then forces the door open. Once inside he finds himself a well-fitting, black suit. And after finding the perfect green tie he departs. After a few blocks of walking he sees the 'Red Star'. Beckam figures it wouldn't be to smart to go in there asking questions while the establishment still has customers. So he goes and sits on a park bench that is hidden in the shadow of a nearby building. He sits here and watches . . . After about two hours, Beckam starts to really get cold. A few people have left the bar, but Beckam figures there is still many in there. He checks his watch . . . 1:50 am. He decides to take his chances and get warm. He enters the 'Red Star' to find no occupants. The floor has been mopped, the chairs are on the tables, and the bar is spotless. Suddenly from behind a man enters the room. "Can I help you?" Boris stands suspiciously watching Beckam. 'Yes, I need to know a few things about a man that is a frequent here. His name is Alexei." Beckam takes a seat at the bar as Boris walks around to the other side. When Boris takes his eyes off of Beckam he removes the Beretta and places it in his lap. From the other side of the bar Boris, pours Beckam a shot of whiskey and sets it on the bar. "I'm very sorry, but I don't anyone named Alexie." He places his hands on the bar and has a very serious look in his face. Then Beckam's cell phone rings. "One moment. Hello . . ." The voice on the other line tells Beckam to ask him again and if he still declines knowing Alexie. Then kill him. "Very well." He places the phone back into his pocket and his hand on the weapon in his lap. "Could I have a small bit of Vodka added to that drink. I like it better that way. And are you sure you know no Alexie?" Boris turns around and Beckam raises the gun to his head. "Yes, I'm sure. No Alexie ever been here." "Wrong answer, chap." Beckam closes his eyes as he pulls the trigger and releases a small piece of metal into the back of Boris's head. The body falls to the ground behind the bar and there is blood sprayed all over the back wall. Beckam reaches into his pocket and write this message on the bar's counter after checking the number of his cell phone: FOR ALEXIE > 435-8104 Then Beckam drinks the shot and wipes his fingerprints off the glass after setting back on the counter. He then leaves the bar and enters the cold weather outside.

ooc>Thanks Pack Rat. New Earth; South of St. Petersburg; Valkov Manor. The dark silouette stands in his window and watches the American, sports car speed off. He quietly ponders his next move. He then sits down in a chair near the large fieplace and waits . . . A well-muscled, burly figure enters the room. "Sir, Beckam is about 150 miles north of Prague and going toward Berlin. "Thank you." The man gets out of his chair as the other leaves. He walks over to his desk where he picks up a cell phone. He presses redial and the phone begins to ring. the voice on the other line is too faint to hear. "Listen. This is your employer. . . . Very well, then you can call me Valkov. Now you are going the wrong way. . . . Dam$#%, you're entering the east border of Germany! Don't you read signs! . . . . Never matter, I want you to turn south toward Prague. When you get there change clothes and find yourself a nice accessory to where from the trunk. I then want you to go to a small place called the 'Red Star'. This is the only place that Alexie has been seen to my knowledge. . . . . . Well I want you to find out more about him. If you can where he resides. . . . . I understand. . . . Goodbye." The figure turns the phone off and places it back onto the desk. New Earth; Germany Border. Beckam places the phone back into this glove compartment. He then pulls off the side of the road and gets out of his car. It very cold and very gloomy. He opens the trunk which has been transformed into a gun safe. There are many firearms inside the trunk, each with its own special place to lie in the foam. He grabs a small pistol. He looks at in and recognizes the Beretta 'D' Model handgun. He also retrieves a silencer and screws in onto the gun. Then closing the trunk he gets back inside the car. He turns around and goes back to turn south at a road he passed a few miles back.

(I have been reading these posts all day and have found them quite entertaining. I hope I am accepted among you as I am now joining your ranks.) New Earth, Unknown Location North of New Waashington Pull. The small, silver BMW Z4 Roadster enters a sharp curve and downshifts into fourth gear. Inside the car, Keith Beckam listens to some rock band and begins to accelerate the car. Push. The car's revs are relieved as it shifts back into fifth. The curvy road makes a slight left turn ahead. With ease Beckam cuts through the curve on this cold, dark night. Then suddenly he begins to stop, because a few hundred yards in front of him are flashing lights and many armed men walking about. He slowly approaches the group of men dressed in a green military pattern and wearing red berets. He turns the radio off as one of the soldiers walks over to his car. "What seems to be the problem, sir?" Beckman shakes as the cold air bursts into his car when he lowers the window. "We're looking for this man." The soldier holds out a picture of Beckam. "Thats me." Beckman begins to get alittle nervous. "Yes I know. Have you ever been to Prague?" "I don't believe I'm at liberty to say." The soldier raises a large firearm to Beckam's face. "I believe you are." "I visited my cousin there once. It was a very long time ago though." "Get out." With that command, Beckam is led out of his car and into a Suburban. Just as he gets inside, he looks out to see that his beautiful had been set aflame by the rest of the group. "Where are you taking me?" He asks but gets no response. Instead he is stuck in the back of the neck with a tranquilizer needle. Beckam's eyes open to find himself in a large, leather chair sitting among a large room feeled with many, magnificent antiquities. He looks over to the window where he sees a dark silouette. By the outline of the man, Beckam reckons that he is an older gentleman and quite muscular. The silouette turns and faces him. "Welcome. I hope my men didn't bruise you up too bad. I know who you are and who I am is none of your concern. I also know that you did some recon work during the old war. I also hear you were quite good. And its for that reason that I have you here now. I want you to find out all you can about this . . . Alexei. Find out who and where he is. I'll know when you get information so don't worry about contacting me. I am depending on you and it is to your best interest that you do as I say." "And if I don't?" "You don't want that trust me. Besides they'll be a handsome reward in it for you. Now go out that door and my men will take you to your new car and all the equipment you'll need. Good luck and don't fail me." Just as he is told Beckam is led to his new Dodge Viper GTR and given an assortment of weapons and equipment. He is also dorned with a gorgeous, white tailored suit. He gets into the car and departs. He decides that it is in his best interest to perform this . . . strange task. The car exits the garage and vanishes into the night.

I am sitting here in Integrated Multimedia Technology and the teacher is just aweful. I don't even believe she is trained to teach this class. For the past week we have been making Powerpoint presentations and now were showing them to the class. And right now this guy is showing us his on his girlfriend of 3 months and how much they 'love' each other. This absolutely sucks. Noone is paying attention. I was just wondering if anyone else on the forums is as bored as I. :help:
